I had to go rectify the fact that there are no Fenris feet on the Internet.

My husband has now disowned me. But aren't they the cutest?

I'm starting to feel left out  That cosplayer boy basically represents everything I do not find attractive in a boy ... man.  (I refuse to believe he's older than 18).  But he is a lovely Fenris, absolutely lovely.

But don't feel bad about the fangirling; I don't fangirl too much over any DA characters but there are a few anime characters that make me just sigh...

Oh god. I should dress my husband up as Fenris and post pictures. He could pull it off - plus he has been working in theater for a long time now. (He actually kind of has Fenris' pointy face and roman nose.)

I told him the other day that I might do it to him - someday. He was just like, "FINE ok." (He has been hearing about Fenris nonstop since DA2 came into the house a couple weeks ago. He keeps reminding me that Fenris doesn't get to have sex with me - he does. lol)

Oh and as for the cosplayer - he's an adult. He just has a small body. Again - my husband is built exactly like that guy. (And he's 30.) Tiny people are often mistaken for teenagers. haha

I agree. I am always trying to see his feet in the game. It's so cute the elves don't wear shoes. What are they - hobbits? jk.

There are also not enough Tarantino-style Fenris pictures:

lol. Well I joked with my friend Jay that he kinda reminds me of Fenris, the way he does his hair. He's in a band, so of course he has that whole metro/emo/goth look.

Here this is him...(He's the lead singer.)
:

(And no he's not a teen. Ha. He's in his late 20's.)

p.s. Fenris related I swear!

Oh and also... here's my husband. Think I could do his Fenris makeup? The nose looks right - and the browline too. Hair is an issue. Needs a wig. He also needs to shave.... haha

hahaha yeah. Their sound is an acquired taste. Jay would probably murder himself if he only knew about the gamer action he'd get. He's not a gamer, himself. Shame.

Joe (husband) endures daily teasing - sometimes in the form of ruthless pranks. That's how our household operates. He's currently playing through FF tactics and says he can't wait to start the whole DA game series. I feel stupid, though. I beat DA2 without playing DA:O.  Then I went out and bought DA:O and now I'm playing through it. I could have built a DA2 game off DA:O had I done it in the right order. >:(

I'll play it again! Someday. I've already played it four times.

OH haha - he's playing it on PSP! I read your post to him by the way. He replied, "I could spend years playing this game. It's like chess. I love it."

Aww I played FF Tactics sooo looong ago, on my brother's Sega Dreamcast I think it was.

Ghost, don't misunderstand me; I don't go for 18 year olds (although I have to admit, some of my students are cuties!); the younger ones, say mid-20s, can be nice to look at, but I'd never go out with a guy who was younger than 30.

Does anyone just love Fenris ... like as a character? I'm kind of feeling weird here just because I don't want to have sex with him lol

I must say, your friend's look is very, very close to a dark haired Fenris! Very well played!.
Your husband might pull off Fenris as well. However, he makes me think more of Alistair (and trust me, that's a good thing!)
Possibly it's just the angle of this image but his nose, his skincolour, his hair. Put him in Warden armour and you've got yourself a royal bastard

Oh, I definitely do love him as a character. Same with Zevran. With both guys you have to look underneath the surface to see there is much more to them than you could think at first sight (that's even more the case with Zevran, I think). The way Fenris' romances goes, with him leaving in act 2, really made me think about the character. I tried to understand why he would be so upset he would leave, why he does what he does. And that was what led to story inspiration.:D

That he is handsome enough to look at helped when I chose to romance him, and that voice was what won it from Sebastian xD, but what made me a true fengirl is the writing, the character, and not the pixels.

Its cute reading your boyfriends reactions to your 'DA other half' ;)

I remember when I was playing through ME2 I told my boyfriend about my loved up Shep and Garrus and he was a bit weird about it....til he saw he as an alien and then 'suddenly' it was totally fine. LOL. Then when I told him I was doing a Kaidan romance in ME3 he was fine til he found out he was Human. Then he started teasing me again.

Men, their minds are weird :D

Believe it or not I loved Fenris as a character first and then found him attractive afterwards. I romanced Anders first time through until he lied to me then I dumped his ass. By then, it was too late to initiate a romance with Fenris.

Fenris's romance is rather ingenious in my opinnon, and the way the Anders and Fenris romance play against each other also adds another element to it.

Actually, I've come across more people who feel weird because they want to have sex with Fenris than people who just like the character. Liking the character doesn't come wih the same difficulties as wanting to have sex with the character, because then it splits into groups and those groups can be rather fervent about how they see things.

I do get mocked a bit by my boyfriend for my love for the DA characters. It started with Alistair on my first DAO playthrough, then Zevran, and now Fenris.:pinched: I think the idea makes him a tiny bit jealous. He was pretty amazed when he saw my favorites on deviant art, haha. A lot of Fenris, and a lot of Fenris without many clothes. But hey, that's not my fault. Other people draw it, not me!:innocent: Still, my boyfriend does proofread my story. After I had written a total of 80 pages in Word, I thought he might he gotten a bit bored of it, so I didn't send him my next two updates. But then he got mad at me for not sending them, so... I will have to continue sharing the updates with him, haha.

Oh, and I just saw this in my deviant art inbox:

Sorry I had to point this out, since I was running on 3 hours of sleep yesterday...FFT was never on the dreamcast. It came out for the playstation. Because it never came out for the dreamcast...and I should know I was obsessed with that game.

At the hospital for a day and I come back to this! I missed so much. Can I join FFA? Hello, I'm 44 and have been gaming forever. None of the men in my life are real. Is there coffee?

That said, the guy in the video would make a good Fenris! And I agree with dracuella , Trista's hubby would make a good Alistair.

He DOES look closer to Alistair. He's got that Roman nose. The elves in DA2 all seem to have that nose too, though their bridges are more flat/straight down. (like a cat?)

Oh and to motomotogirl - I do like Fenris as a character. I didn't develop a crush on him until my first game was nearly over. I think it's because I REALLY loved his story, and I see a bit of myself in him as a character. (I identified with his personality more than Hawke's. I even have a couple of friends who behave the way he does. A few who are bit of a "stick in the mud", but for some reason it's endearing.)  Also he's a great NPC to keep in your party, no matter how you want to play the game. He's a better tank than Aveline, in my opinion. I think she's better at controlling the enemies and doing more defensive tactics. The secret to Fenris is you just pump up his strength like nobody's business, and then beef up his health/stamina (and attack score) with accessories. Though I stopped letting him drink potions for less than 10% health/stamina. He guzzles them. F***ing lush.

We have donut day on Friday followed by introductions and group therapy for the fanart fanatics.  There is a special meeting on Wed nights for those who are addicted to reading Fenris smut. The people who write it we just lock them up and throw away the key. But they somehow manage to escape and the cycle starts again. *sighs*

Concur with Trista's husband for Alistair and friend for Fenris. :D

Trista said: He guzzles them. F***ing lush. LOL! He even sounds like he is comparing it to alcohol. Fenris needs a different type of group therapy.
