Sorry, ghost. I was a bit of a prig in my last post, though I didn't mean it to come across that way. I was being silly more than anything, but at the same time, I hate it when people get uptight about anatomy or say everything has to be this way or that. I guess I'm not really doing a great job of explaining it.

I do enjoy reading about your artistic view when it comes to the human body because of the way you observe anatomy. It's muscle and shape, not dirty or disgusting. It's refreshing.

I've read a lot of fics lol A LOT.  Probably well over 500.  (In fact one night I sat and read 500 drabbles from the Bleach fandom until 5 in the morning).  I've also written a lot of fics, many of which have explicit scenes.  I am more personally concerned with emotional intimacy, and I have often tried to convey this through descriptions of physical intimacy.  But I'm just more likely to write "He began to thrust inside him" as opposed to "He began to thrust inside him with his massive nine inch dick." 

Back when I was just figuring out how to use the internet and, erm, learning quite a bit about the male anatomy as a consequence, all I really came across were gay porn sites, not picture porn but written porn (I guess it took too long to upload images back then LOL).  OMG It was ten inch dick this and massive thick **** that.  I once came across this real person slash fiction on a gay website that was written about the guys on the English football team and I swear to god about five paragraphs were dedicated to the guys whipping out their dicks and an immense amount of purple prose describing each one!  I never laughed so hard xD

I do think it is best not to accuse folks of being uptight about sex just because we are not interested in dick size.  Honestly, I invite you to take a look at some of the stuff I've written, but the truth is, I just am not interested in PWP.  I don't want to get into my real life, really, but sex has never been a big priority for me; does this make me a prude?  No, I'm not afraid of it; I just don't particularly seek it out or always enjoy it on a personal level.  

And judging from the way everyone pretends to blush around here I have to admit I've been thinking I'm pretty much the most sexually open person here because talking about that has never bothered me lol (well, after a certain age and level of experience, of course).  

So, again, I don't care about the size of Fenris' shlong.  Doesn't make me a friggin prude.

Yes, I was an ass Moto. Mouth before mind tonight. But, to be fair, you mentioned only reading the description in gay porn. I've seen it elsewhere. That was the point I was trying to make. It's a penis... it's not really that interesting.

I care about his shlong, very much so, but apparantly I can't make that comment without it becoming a major production. It's a topic that I am interested in for various reasons, not all of them being perverted. Perhaps, I should have presented it differently. I didn't do a great job of it. Shall take my warped sense of humor elsewhere until I get my s-h-it together on the forum.

Yeah the first fiction I encountered online was definitely gay fiction (i.e. written by and for gay men) because I was a slash fangirl even at age 14 and wanted to write slash stories but realized I knew nothing about boys' bodies xD  It was, er, eye-opening, to say the least...

Most of what I read or have read is definitely written by women, but it is still slash, not het.  I wonder if there is a general difference between the two.  I wonder if het fiction takes a lot from the pages of romance novels.  

Then again a lot of badly written slash reads like trash romance...

I think I have had a very different experience. I wasn't interested in one type of writing over another in the beginning. After five  years of Silmarillion fanfictiction I became a bitter woman. Slash was thrust (ha!) at me and if you wrote anything other than that it was labeled Mary Sue. I read my friend's stories, others who were highly acclaimed, but I never wrote it, because I like to write things that I can relate to on many levels. So, I deliberately limited myself to please others back then.

I remember you saying that you had done the het scene and you were bored of it. Same thing for me except, in my case, it is slash. I read for the most part purely het stories now. It's my preference, and unlike back then, I say it and don't feel bad about it even when people exclaim I'm not being open minded. I paid my dues, so to speak and I read what I want now. I would wish no one to read something to please someone else.

Well, I did it, I recruited him.

So if Hawke never recruits Fenris, I like to think that he somehow meets up with Sebastian at some point, and then Seb could help him ultimately defeat Danarius. AND THEN FENRIS WOULD RULE STARKHAVEN AS ITS QUEEN. Oops maybe scratch that last part :>

Okay I had to giggle. I had this mental image of Seb sitting on the throne with Fen next to him greeting Orlesian dignitaries. Lots of eyebrows. Too campy and dandy

I've come across quite a bit of AndersxSeb on my fanfiction travels. I suppose if it was a DA2 rivalmance you would go with AndersxSeb and for friendmance FenrisxSeb. That is how I am seeing it. Queen? Are we talking Freddie Mercuryish or drag or simply queen?

Seb was overdone and his relationship with Elthina made me cringe. He would have been much better left as the sexy rogue prince imo. Yeah, forbidden fruit, but too much of a c-o-c-k tease just leaves a bad taste in your mouth (oh that was so uhhhhhh... I am now cringing) Moto you have brought out the worst in me tonight.

Oh, I'm seeing Fenris in a really fine princely sort of outfit, nice pants and boots and a lovely fitted coat down to his knees. Only difference between him and Seb is that Seb wears the crown and Fenris has to wear the princess tiara wahahahahaha!

I don't see Anders x Seb happening AT ALL. No way. I also never see Fenders, but only slightly less so.

Well, fortunately for us, Seb wasn't really very well developed in the game, so... leaves lots of wiggle room for fanfiction writes xD Plus there are always AUs.
