I had two reasons for considering the possession thing with Fenris:

1. Fenris gets jealous and extremely curious about Hawke and Varric's shared encounter. No matter what he does he will never have that type of intimacy with Hawke unless he decides to let ther possess him. It puts the idea in his head. Hawke hasn't suggested it.

That makes sense. I can see Fenris reacting in that way. Still, this possession thing sounds awfully similar to blood magic, so I still think it would be a huge step for Fenris to want and allow this. 

2. I was laughing at the idea that Hawke can control Fenris's physical body. *ahem* I thought that could have some interesting possibilities.

And I'm working on other reasons for and against. *sighs* This is a tough one.

Interesting, yes. But possibly very emotional as well. Keep in mind that Fenris has been controlled for years by Danarius. Perhaps through blood magic occasionally, but that probably wasn't even necessary. When Fenris escapes, he finally gets control over what he does. I think Fenris would completely freak out if he suddenly was no longer in control of his own body. He is already struggling with that because of the markings.

So, yeah, you have gotten yourself into a very complicated position. Good luck!



Edit: oh, lol, now you have already changed your mind. xD

It is Sims 2.  I have tried Sims 3, but hated the balloon faces... Personally I think Sims 2 sims with custom content beat Sims 3 (may be different with custom content for sims 3 as well, but that doesn't change the round face shape I couldn't seem to get to change).

Very nice picture! You made some very compelling points. Well, I get nervous when I bug people for things. Anyway, you made a good argument against it. Definitely agree with him not liking the idea of someone else controlling him. They can still chat.

You have no idea, Ren. Writing a possessed Varric was about the strangest, most insane and funny thing to do. Awwwww but I do wubbles him.

I have Sims 2 and 3. Seeing Fenris as a sim sounds like fun. Could find new and interesting ways to look at him. Hmmmmmmm. Was it you that posted the picture of him dancing with a lampshade on his head?

 LOL, no, that was not in my game. Although I have made Dragon Age sims on my old laptop as well, I haven't really played with them, and I have only created a new Fenris two days ago. Have only just started messing around with pose boxes, hence the pics on the previous page.

You don't need to feel nervous for asking something or starting a discussion. As far as I'm concerned, you are free to continue to do so. I would hardly consider it "bothering" people here.

Well I assume it was specially made, considering it is called the "Spirited-grafted hide" or some such thing.  But you would think that after escaping from Danarius he'd change his outfit and try not to look like SUCH a target.  To be honest with you, I don't think a whole lot of thought went into how his outfit related to his storyline.

It was magical armor. Lol, no, I don't know. I assume he takes care of it, patching it up, etc. And time constraints for the developers... Nobody ages, and nobody changes their clothes...

You were thinking about how Fenris could get out of his trousers, and then you ended up at smexy times? But yes, I do. Or I have. I started my fiction at the end of A Bitter Pill, so then there is the first kiss and all that. Now they are still in the three year gap, so no making up love scene yet,  but there were some cases of... unwanted arousal. Ahem. 
I don't make them very graphic, however. In the first (and thus far only) smexy times scene I kept it a bit vague. My primary reason for exploring the kink meme was to get a better idea of how to properly write something like that. I'm stll new to it, but a reviewer said it was hot, so... 
I am looking forward to the point where they get back together. I think I am going to do a bit more with that. 
Hardcore is still not really my thing though, so I won't go that far. 

Anyway, was there a special reason for this inquiry?

Doesn't answer that much, really, but it seems Fenris believes there is not much point in changing his armor because the markings would still be visible.

They say some of the best sex scenes are th eone that tease more than blatantly put it out there(that sounds all kinds of wrong) So, yes, the sensual, I think, really appeals to most people. Then again, I've read some very interestingly described stories and that does it too. But the less explicit stuff tends to stay with a person., I think

Why did Merrill and Anders get new outfits and not Fenris???? Boo hiss. I guess it was specially made, Moto. But if his markings show up in anything he wears then why not buy some new armor? Personally, I don't think it makes any sense that his markings show through anything. they don't show through his armor that he wears. He could dye his hair too. Wonder if he can?

I was thinking of that conversation, too, but yeah, I don't think it reveals anything particular about his armor at all. And I believe he's only talking about his markings during a fight; they glow when he fights. I'm sure if he put on a regular shirt during "regular times" it would properly cover the tattoos on his arms. But not when fighting.

That conversation was just weird. I don't understand how Fenris' outfit screams "I hate you all! I was a slave!" It's just a warrior's outfit.

And I don't know what the point of was in telling us his markings would show through anything if they wouldn't allow us to change his outfit anyway.

As for his hair, Fenris is just not the type to hide.  He's not going to dye it.  He's really too proud for his own good, but that likely comes from being an escaped slave.  I still see a lot of Frederick Douglass in him.  Gahh he's such a cool character, our Fenbear.  He's proud, but you see where that pride stems from, and you can't blame him.  But yet he needs his friends' help and hates admitting it.  He's so precious.

Again, I think when he said his markings would "show through anything" he means when he's fighting, and they glow.

Don't worry, I am already beyond saving. :innocent: I doubt you can do much to corrupt me further, haha. And I have to say I have read some very explicit things on the kink meme and that I found some still very sexy.

Anders' coat doesn't change with the romance, does it? In my game he gets the black version when Hawke has helped him get in the Chantry. Merrill's outfit is the only one that changes radically. Isabela gets a corset and a red band around her arm, but other than that her outfit stays the same. The change in Fenris is the smallest though, with the red band and the crest. 
But I guess the only real answer here is lack of resources. It is not very realistic none of the companions would get new clothes after seven years. Especially with all the fighting they do.
