Aldien dont also mention strong swimmers. Or else we're gonna have a superman analogy going on and how a mage female hawke is the only one with a strong womb to carry em.

Only one way to see if he's capable of children.....Hey Aldy set your sims up for a simulation.

Awwwwww and here I wanted to set myself up for a simulation.

Little blue glowing swimmers??? Ren what is wrong with you! Although..... hmmmmmmm I can see the novelty of that. :D

If you want to talk about strong wombs you gotta mention Fenris', since he is able to bear children in my game xD

I actually prefer the look of Sims 3 to Sims 2; people in Sims 2 look like .... mmm, like they're too pretty? Not sure how to describe it. They look more natural in Sims 3.

Yep I did; you have to buy the specially modded male maternity clothes or else your sim's body disapears while he's pregnant, and that's just freaky because then for 2-3 days he's just a walking head

OK call me crazy and indeed sane for thinking this wrong...but a random someone sent me a link to a dakink...where Fenris has 'relations' with Varania. Not he doesn't know thats his sister and I still felt sick...then they followed it up with another one where he KNOWS its his sister!

So I will just say this....who reads these stories?!

Ahh, yeah, incest stories are my personal squick >.< BUT a lot of people like them. I do have to admit that there's a pairing I like from Kyou Kara Maou (anime) that is uncle x nephew, BUT to be fair it was not revealed that they were related until the end of the series ;_;

ROFL... Now we just need a cup of coffee

I bet I see his image in my waffle tomorrow. Kind of like how religious icons pop up in pancakes.

Honestly, I have to go from donuts to incest. Ugggggggg.

Incest is an intregal part of mythology. It can stay there as far as I am concerned. I don't understand the allure of it and I don't really want to think about it to be honest.

Back to donuts with pointy ears!

Did find this and found it adorable. It is Alistair and Fenris. Wouldn't it be great if they mixed and matched companions for DA3? LOL I didn't see it at first but then I noticed the title of what Fenris is reading.

Who is Zeden? :P

Don't mind suffering with you. I'm just not fond of that particular subject matter.

Unfortunately they are in my head and not in a document. Hmmmmm I might be able to incorporate something along those lines into LG or perhaps the Marian Hawke thingy. Actually, it would make a nice one shot. Hmmmmmsy, my smut writing skills could do with a good dusting. ;)

I have a discussion Topic for the forum: If Anyone can go mad from simply touching Lyrium Dust, then what happened with Fenris's Markings that are made of Lyrium? Are they made from Lyrium Dust, or did Fenris drink a lot of Lyrium potions?

My personal opinion is that Danarius branded Fenris through the use of a magical instrument. I cannot see Danarius risking his life to try and handle raw lyrium since it has the potential to kill him outright. The man loved himself too much for that. So, I'd say it was refined lyrium.

Fenris talks about a ritual, which leads me to believe that there was a certain set of steps and probably magical incantations that had to be performed in order to make it happen. The actual ritual and how he branded him *shrugs* no clue. There are lots of theories. I tend to lean towards a special application of fire and electricity., magnified through a single point, so he could scribe on Fenris's skin.  Yes there is something very wrong with me. But I do believe Fenris's body creates lyrium vapor in order to glow. He is possibly radioactive when lit.

If you want to get technical, and if you are interested in a real indepth view of Fenris's markings, Arquen wrote this: essay

I don't agree with all of her theories, though many of them I do, no matter it is a fascinating read.

Only David Gaider knows the answer to this question. But we can hypothesize.

By the way, I don't think Fenris drank lyrium or ingested it in any way. I tend to think it was poured on the top of his skin and then Danarius used his magical instrument to heat it and burn it into his flesh. :crying: Or maybe he just used a lyrium Sharpie :D

Hello everyone. I'm kind of new here. I just started posting in the Dragon Age forums a few days ago. I have a question about Fenris, but first I want to join in on the discussion about the lyrium markings. I agree with aldien and I can't help associating Fenris with Wolverine from the X-Men. Only in Fenris's case, it was lyrium burned into his flesh instead of adamantium fused to his skeleton.

Now here's my question. If you side with the mage's in the end, will Fenris leave? I have played through the game twice so far and I have been afraid to side with the mage's because I don't want to lose Fenris. I like Fenris as a character and as a romance option. He does well for me in battle too.

I'll just say if you have a high rivalry or frinedship he'll stick to you like white on rice on either option...however if you don't you can choose the templars to keep him, but that be for RP reasons for a Hawke consumed by guilt cause they couldn't kill their love fighting for mages and thus chose the lesser of two evils because they were seflish...or maybe thats my overly dramatic playthough..

Hi!:)

Fenris will not leave you when you side with the mages if you have reached maximum friendship or rivalry with him (you'll get his second Questioning Beliefs quest when you have reached that point). In the case of rivalry, you also must have done all of his other quests (Bitter Pill and Alone). I am not completely sure whether this is also required for a friended Fenris, but I don't think so.
When you are on the friendship path but haven't gotten to the maximum score, Fenris will initially leave your party when you side with the mages, but you can later persuade him to get back (by confronting him about his ideas about freedom). I hope this has reassured you.

Yeah, the easiest thing to do is to just get him at 100% either way, but like Ren says, you do have bit of leeway with the friendship path (if I'm understanding you, Renny?).

I've always had Fenris at 100% friendship at the end of all my games and I always side with the mages. Haven't lost the silly elf yet :)

It's REALLY easy to get him at 100% friendship without cheating, by the way. Just have the Fenris Approval wiki page open. You don't have to do stuff you don't agree with, either. Just be careful where and when you take him with you. And be careful of entering the Gallows with him in your party -_-

^That's right. I hope my post was understandable? When he is not max friendship he will leave when you side with the mages, but when you reach the Gallows you get a chance to speak to him. There are three choices, I think, one has the word "freedom" in it, that's what I know. And when you pick that option, he will say to Meredith he has changed his mind and get back in your party.

And when you agree with Fenris the Circle is necessary during the dialogue in the Gallows, I think you only get + 5 rivalry? Hardly a deathblow to your friendship with him.

Fruit flies? Really? I.... no.=] No fruit flies. What would make fruit flies wonderful? xD

Edit: I have looked it up. When Fenris doesn't initially side with you, the option you have to pick at the Gallows is "join me". www.youtube.com/watch

Holy cow! I wasn't gone too long and there are already several responses. I want to thank all of you for the advice. I probably could have sided with the mages during my second playthrough then. I was playing a female warrior who was romancing Fenris and I think she was at 100% friendship with him by that point in the game. I was actually going to try fighting for the mages, but it wasn't just because I was afraid of losing Fenris that I didn't. What Varric said also made me question the decision. He said something like "Are you sure that's a good idea?" He seems like a very knowledgeable character and he was also a good friend, so I trusted his opinion and changed my mind. On my first playthrough I didn't even try to side with the mages. Anders ruined everything. He broke Hawke's poor little heart. I know he warned her not to get involved with him, but it was still unexpected and sad.

Thanks for that link renjility. I just watched it. I don't ever want to have to kill Fenris. That would make me cry. It was hard enough having to kill Anders during my first playthrough.

Hello! :) Ren and Moto had already answered before I got chance. They are annoying like that

Honestly, I'm glad they did because I can never keep it straight in my head what percentage you need if he is just a friend or rivalmanced.

I know what you mean about Varric. He makes a very good point in my opinion and he is a good  judge of people. That changed my mind on my third playthrough, after I figured out you could click on the characters and there was a whole conversation at the end, oh and a nice big wet kiss from Fenris. Never knew!

But, the other thing that made me start siding with the templars more and more was Hawke's friends. Every single one of them is going to suffer afterwards if she sides with the mages. So, in a way it is their lives on the line too. Practicality over principles in my mind. Harsh but true. Of course, if Bethany is alive I do not side with the templars and Fenris doesn't get to be smug.

I know Anders says not get involved with him, but it's also his responsibility, in my opinion, to not let it happen especially if he really honestly and truly cares for Hawke. The way I see it, Fenris backs out of the romance because he loves Hawke and thinks Hawke can do better, though it is awful what he does at the time, I honestly believe Fenris is thinking of Hawke's best interest. In a very strange Fenrisy way. But Anders! Maker, that man is just selfish in my opinion and a bit unhinged. I think he uses Hawke to keep him safe and to help carry out his plan.
