Aldy, I'm not mad
I just needed to rant about ME3 to someone, and I know mah Fenris gals are always listening
Yeah I know I'm supposed to play the first two, but didn't you guys read my post? He only has ME2 and ME3, and if I started ME2 with my male Shep then Kaidan dies, which means I can't romance him in ME3. Capiche?
Similarity between the Krogan and the Klingons is that they are a very aggressive race, and the other folks have trouble getting them to agree to diplomatic solutions. Happened all the time in ST. I don't need a ST-loving boyfriend to know that; I'M a ST fan
Especially a hardcore DS9 fan, which explored Klingon culture quite a bit.
DA peeps in ME universe, I think Isabela would be a pilot. Merrill would be a doctor, or perhaps a scientist like Liara. Fenris a straight up soldier, nothing fancy. But then how good of a soldier would he be without lyrium enhancements? He's a tough and wiry little guy, but he's still little. I don't know. Maybe he'd make a better sniper type. Oh, duh, Anders would be the doctor. I can see Zevran working as one of those Spectre assassins. Alistair a diplomat.
I like the idea of Fenris taking up woodworking! I can see that! And he would carve little wooden animals for their children *kyahhh!!!* He'd also garden, practical garden, like fruits and vegetables. Hawke would read. I always see Hawke as a great reader, in addition to a warrior.
Fenris would totally be a Vanguard. I can see him doing the Biotic Charge at his opponents and sending them flying. Anders would be . . . a Sentinel, maybe? Mostly because they're the only class that can use the First Aid skill - at least in the first game. Merrill and Bethany would probably be Adepts, since they're the class that if used right, you'll never have to draw your gun. Aveline and Carver would be Soldiers, without a doubt. Zevran would be an infiltrator, I think. Don't know who would be an Engineer, sadly.
After the events of DA2, my Sarah Hawke and Fenris to travel the world with Isabela on her ship for a bit. They get married along the way, and then a year later they depart because Hawke is now pregnant. So, they set up home in a house in a woods by a town, and have three kids (girl, boy, girl). Hawke would do some kind of fighting work in the city for money, and Fenris would, like other have said, either do some kind of wood work. I can just see him outside the house, chopping wood, while Hawke is surreptitously watching him.
But, for realistic game purposes, same thing, kids and all, but he's gone to try and free more slaves. DA3 hero shows up to inform Hawke that something's happened, so they team up to try and help Fenris. The eldest kid is told to stay and look after her younger siblings - and that's all I have so far.
Here's some more Fenris:
snippy
I think "Dragon Effect" is a good name for a crossover between the two, you think. Oh, just a little bit of trivia, there are some robot dogs in the ME universe that are called FENRIS Mechs. Just found that out last night while doing my fourteenth playthrough of ME2 - as an Infiltrator. Yay sniping!
Can Isabela, as a captain of a ship marry Hawke and Fenris and it be legal?
Mmmmmmmmm watching Fenris's muscles while chopping wood is simply divine. I can see the sweat running down his chest to his abs and errr elsewhere. Hawke would be peeking out of the window trying desperately not to be seen.
OH! I love the idea of Fenris starting a freedom fighting underground. That would be awesome, for lack of a better word. Brain shutting down this time of night. *writes down plot bunny* I just love that idea! Maybe he starts it!
I have always imagined Hawke having twins first. Muwahahahah, I guess because of Carver and Bethany. They say the gene can be passed on. Fenris and dirty diapers. Now there is some imagery. But I also very much love the idea of Hawke and Fenris adopting. I can see it working either way or maybe they take in some children Fenris has freed from Tevinter. Awwwww that breaks my heart.
Fenris mechs? Hehehehhe someone has been inspired.
Have you ever played Half-Life? Sniping is very well done in that game. So is everything else but I am biased.

Who is Kaidan? I played a bit of ME3, but not ME2 or ME. I can't really comment on the story because it's like I have come in halfway through a conversation. What ruined it for me was the technical aspect. That is because I have worked in the industry, well before I had a baby. Anyway, it was the lip synching etc... that drove me batty. Nothing to do with the characters.
I'm curious to know why I see so many Kaidan lovers liking Fenris. Anyone help with this??? Are there similarities?

Good point Ald in bringing up the mental illness facotr...it just gets cliche after awhile...like watching an old episode of Law & order over a sociopath that killed a hooker from a video game he played, thus the game is bad cause it gave him the idea....or he just wanted to because he's a sociopath!
Grrr plus as somsone with Autism that **** gets sooo played out when someone tries to make it poignant they either come off as rayman, Lenny, or Mommy dearest with a pick axe.
Only reason I might want to beg Fenris in that category cause I know people like him who just seem dependable in business/school errand interactions, but have no clue what to do in a social situation. And trust that is something I, personally, and a few others deal with...oh the joys of the interwebs.
Don't get me started on stereotypes. We all know where that leads.
I think, this is just a theory, that many people fall prey to feeling sorry for Anders. Some still want to remain faithful to DAO Anders. Some fancy the VA, therefore stick up for Anders. I did notice a surge in Anders popularity after the convention. I understand how that happens.
I, to be honest, am neutral when it comes to Fenris's VA. I don't associate the two with each other. I'm attracted to Fenris in the game on a visual and emotional level. I don't find Gideon Emery attractive. It's a guy who gets paid to do a voice. I mean no disrespect, but that's as far as it goes for me. However, I am happy for people who do find both attractive. It's just not for me. It stops at Fenris.
Fenris is socially challenged. But he grows along the way and becomes comfortable with his circle of friends. He dabs into the social realm by making jokes, forming friendships with people like Donnic, Aveline, Varric and of course Hawke. He's not helpless and he is most definitely not incapable:) Misunderstood? Yes! And he definitely does not want pity. He is simply Fenris. You take him or leave him. But what I love most about him is that he does not change to suit someone else and he does not manipulate. He's honest to the point of painful and that is a lovely quality, though hard to accept at times. It also makes people look deeply within themselves. He is made of wonderful

Okay, it's true he doesn't like tromping through dirt, but that's also just him being a fusspot. I think if he were living along with Hawke and they were living off the land so to speak then I think he could get really into vegetable gardening. Don't ask me why I think this xD
LOL he is a fusspot no doubt.
I agree. He would have to help with their survival whether he liked it or not. Working the land is therapeutic and rewarding. You plant a seed, help it grow, and then get rewarded at the end. It's simple, rewarding and you prove to yourself that you are capable. No one can take something like that away from you. It is an accomplishment.
