It's good to see that everyone is keeping this thread active with tons of comments to read. I'm trying to be good about replying to everyone who replies to me. I apologise if I miss some. There will probably be several more posts by the time I post this, because I take forever. lol

Ghost Nappa, the only reason I brought up the Anders thing again was because some people were still discussing it while I was away. Then afterward, I was feeling kind of guilty for bringing up Anders again on a thread that's supposed to be about Fenris. I like both characters, I just prefer Fenris, especially for romance. I also prefer elves. I always romanced Zevran when I played Origins. I can't completely blame Anders for what he did though. It's not his fault he was written that way. lol

Aldian, who is Harle? I'm sure I will get to know everyone. I don't plan on leaving. I may not be able to post as often as the rest of you though. I imagine Fenris and Hawke dancing together in his mansion too. I can picture them dancing the tango.

Miss Red Zelda, I'm surprised I didn't think of Kali Ma when Fenris does the fisting thing. lol That's hilarious. The Temple of Doom was a really good book too. You also made me laugh when you said your boyfriend rolled his eyes at you when you flirted with Fenris.

So part of the reason I haven't been here as much is because I am playing DA2 again. This time my character is a male rogue. I wanted to try completing Isabela's romance, because I like her character. I am also trying to be friends with Fenris. Thankfully, I am in act 2 and I am just starting the Bitter Pill quest. I will have a chance to get some more approval points from Fenris for helping him.

I finally abused an old save on my Ezriel (who fully romanced Isabella), and did the three: slept with Fenris first, then Isabella, then on to Anders. Finally got the jealousy banter between all three. Ya know, for science. Didn't save anything, of course. Have only been able to successfully romance Anders once. Because I tend to like to play Snarky or Agrro/Snarky Hawkes, Fenris just fits my Hawkes better. Plus, I am drawn to Elves.......yummmmmmmmmmm! I do have other reasons why Fenris and Isabella are the only ones I will romance repeatedly (most play throughs are Fenris), but no need to rattle cages.

Ghost, many moons ago it was said to me time and time again that everything had been discussed. When I asked a question or brought something up I was referred to page blah and blah. The thread ground to a halt because people were afraid to ask a question or start a discussion. I've read many of the same discussions again and again, but I still enjoy it because each time I get to read another view point. If we start saying it has all been said before then what is the point in the thread?

That's also the other reason I don't see the harm in occasionally deviating from the topic a bit, like with the Fenris sim. But anyway.... let's not limit people or make them feel they can't start a discussion. I don't want to go through that again.

More along the lines, that since we didn't get the expansion we were initially lead to believe we would get, the sky was the limit as far as speculation is concerned. Anyway, I too would be interested in what some of you have come up with for your Hawkes and Fens.

(takes deep breath) Isabela asked my Hawke to accompany her on her voyages, so after the events of DA2, My Sarah Hawke and Fenris travel with Isabela, who insists on marrying them cos she's Isabela. Then a year later, Hawke finds out she's pregnant, so she and Fenris disembark and move to another town, have twins (a boy and girl, named Fearghal and Syrena) and live in peace.

Until the events of DA3 come along some year later. Fenris leaves for a bit to start an underground resistance group against slavery. Something goes wrong and Fenris is in trouble, so the hero of DA3 finds Hawke and delivers her the news. Hawke immediately suggest they go help him. And they do.

Yeah, that's my theory. Since my Sarah Hawke is a mage, I can see one of the kids inheriting her magic. Plus with the Lyrium running through Fenris's veins, it's even more of a possibility.

I wholeheartedly apologize if I misunderstood. Saying something has been done to death does lend itself to the negative. Sorry Ghost if I got it wrong. I'm touchy when it comes to this to begin with because of the past. I'll shut up now

I go off on a bit of headcannon when I think of Fen and Hawke's life after Kirkwall. I throw a spanner in the works and have mage Hawke side with the templars, only if Bethany is dead. Hawke would never kill her own sister, so she would side with the mages in that case.

I think Hawke looks at her friends as family and they come first. For me, I see Hawke putting practicality above principle in this particular case. They make Hawke viscount and that says to me her friends get to stay in Kirkwall and continue their lives for at least two years without problem before Hawke disappears.

Then, I see Hawke announcing to Fenris that she is pregnant. Things have detoriated in Kirkwall and people are looking for someone to blame. It becomes dangerous and Hawke is in the firing line. Now, they do what they feel is right for their child and put it first. No matter what, I always see Hawke as a family values sort of person mainly because of the way the story starts and how she looks after her mother.

They discreetly leave Kirkwall in the night maybe with Varric's aid or perhaps they tell no one. They settle down somewhere isolated to an extent and raise their family hopefully in peace, preferably it is a vineyard because I have this dream of Fenris making his own wine.

We have misunderstandings on here all the time and sometimes evil fights. I pulled Harle's hair once.

Plus Varania was a mage. I wonder how Fenris would deal with one of his children as a mage?

Like I said before, I love the underground resistance idea. Fenris all commando (not going commando mind you) leading groups of small elite soldiers into the cruelest of magister's estates and helping slaves escape. Okay...off on my own headcannon. I absolutely love your idea.

It might be hard to convince some slaves to escape. People become conditioned. That could be a problem and I'm not sure how Fenris would get around it?

LOL Isabela would have way too much fun marrying those two. She's so rotten. Gah, I bet she'd suggest helping them celebrate their wedding later.

Fenris might try to reason with them. Telling them that he was once a slave, he escaped, met a human woman who he fell in love with, went on a grand adventure with her, and is now married to her with (x) amount of children. Might now work, but it's all I can think of atm.

EDIT:: Oh, and I can totally see Isabela planning both the Bachelor Partys for both Hawke and Fenris. "I was born for this," she'd say

Liking both of your Hawke/Fenris epilogues. I have to admit, mine really change with the Hawke I RP. And since I do both f!Hawkes and m!Hawkes, mages/warriors/rogues, and have friendmanced and rivalmanced, this leads to a lot of divergent paths for these couples. Interestingly, only one of my Hawkes ended up bearing children from Fenris, though I have mused with the idea of my m!Hawke 2h warrior, Tyrel Hawke, adopting an orphan (age between six and ten) with Fenris. He was RP'ed as a real family guy.

I love the Isabella aspect, but since I never let her take the deal with Castillion, she doesn't come into a new boat until a few years past the ending of DA2. Could be fun for them to meet up with her unexpectedly and take to the high seas with her, some years later.

None taken at all...plus I was away cleaning out a flooded bathroom and smell of septic water and bleach. Not a sexy combo for the waifu.

Hmmmm as for conclusions....I like my canon FEmMage!hawke(cause I like to control who gets healed and revived like a baws) siding with the mages,, to lose fenris to the templars and end up 'killing' him, but with a twist.
Since Varric is story telling he forgot to mention that Fenris suggested this idea of betraying hawke at the last minute marking him dead in battle, when in fact he's alive and kicking, protecting her under a hidden guise.

Plus I am on the fence on whether or not they have children cause I'm such a bastard gamer that if I win a fight with mishaps, say stabbed by arishok, versus no stab, I go with the flow....
so since my ps3 might have to be returned to the manufacturer its gonna be a coin toss or not whether they can have children....or I could just make Hawke infertile silcening grieving over the fact she doesn't feel like a woman to Fenris only to have him either adopt an adondoned baby.

Or heal I could pull out of my ass he loves her so much he'll consort to a blood mage to carry his and hawke's child thats biologically theirs or help him impregnate hawke, or become fenharel.

See? Sky's the god damn limit right past Andromeda.

I think children would be great for the two of them. For some reason, I always got the impression with Fenris that he's always wanted a family of his own. As for some of his children being mages, well . . . if he's managed to accept Hawke being a mage, then I'm sure he won't be too upset about his own children being one. Disappointed at first perhaps, but he wouldn't leave because of it.

EDIT: So, I'm at the very end of the game, and I decided to support the mages, because Meredith is a complete maniacal b****. And Anders has come back because I decided to spar his life and told him to beat it. Sadly, there was only a "Please stay" or "Beat it" option. I chose "please stay" hoping for there to be a "I'm just gonna make it clear that I'm only keeping you around because of everything we've been through together, and I need someone with healing powers." But no, after that it was just, "This will be a victory for all mages!"

(Smacks forehead) Urgh, why was there not an option to punch him?

MissRedZelda .... I think Fenris would want family too. He went search of it and though it backfired I think he still very much wants it. He can create his own I'll try not to give the "creating" part too much thought.

Oh, I could never see Fenris abandoning his family, even if his child was a mage, actually I think he would be very determined to make certain that the child was responsible with magic. It would also make him understand how awful it is that children get sent to the circle when they are six, My daughter is six, and though it is just a game, the thought of someone taking my child and putting them in a prison is simply beyond comprehension. I'd definitely stay on the run with her.

Usually you have the option to kill him. I always kill him  :devil:

I wish I could draw a picture of Fenris and Hawke dancing the Tango. Fenris would be shirtless and Hawke would be wearing a long silky dress that bared her shoulders. Unfortunately, I can't always draw very well.   I can draw faces if I have a photo to look at, but drawing more than one person in a picture is difficult for me. I can picture it in my mind though.

I like reading everyone's ideas about what would happen with Fenris and Hawke afterwards. I'm sad that I missed out on all of the original Fenris conversations since I'm new here. It would take me forever to read through this entire thread. My warrior was the only character who was lucky enough to romance Fenris and be with him at the end. I imagine that they would travel together. I also think Fenris would eventually get to be friends with Bethany and realise that not all mages are bad. I think Fenris and Hawke would eventually have children and uncle Varric would help take care of them every now and then.

I have a question. Does anyone think Hawke would ever call Fenris by his real name? Do you think Fenris would allow it or would he want to leave the name behind him?
