With mpreg you are not supposed to think of the mechanics of the deed
but of the pure love the two guys share, now expressed in the form of a
perfect infant! xD
Yes, because obviously a woman and Fenris would end up with some icky looking reject baby.
The mechanics of the deed is part of what makes procreation an amazing feat for women who choose to have children. (notice I said those who choose to have them)
Fenris is male. He will never be able to bear children (thank the Maker) and I find it an insult to women everywhere who go through the grueling process to bring it down to penis level. Poof! Baby comes out and it is perfect because their love is so magical. NO! It would be hideously deformed and hotdog shaped, or maybe it is a one off and Fenris's penis explodes after the last push. His sacrifice was worth it in order to have the perfect baby, nevermind the fact he now looks more womanly in the nether regions than manly.
I agree with this. Not only is male pregnancy scientifically improbable to the highest degree (read: just a notch under impossible), but treating pregnancy so flippantly is rather insulting to all who undergo the trials and tribulations of pregnancy.
To be honest though, the idea of true love being expressed in the form of a baby, or that perfect love makes a perfect baby, is also insulting in other ways in my book. I could be wrong, but the attitude behind it seems to be that it's not
really love unless the couple mix their DNA and have a kid together, even if the two partners are the same gender (because clearly adoption, fostering, one partner having a child with a sperm donor or surrogate or raising a child that one partner already had from a previous relationship doesn't count) or that if the child is ordinary or unattractive, then it's not good enough. Babies are not little trophies that couples win for having the best relationship, nor should they be treated like little status symbols to flaunt over other couples.
Just because two people fall in love doesn't mean they need to have a baby to prove it. And if they do happen to have a baby, it shouldn't have to come out of one of their bodies and have the genetics of both partners. The idea of mpreg is - to me - not only insulting in regards to the physical dangers and difficulties of real-life pregnancy, but also insulting to all couples of all kinds in regards to the emotional, psychological and social significance of child-rearing (or lack thereof).

Adoption makes sense and is completely admirable. Making a man (who has not chosen to become a woman) to function like a woman is an insult to men and women no matter their sexual preference.
I have to wonder if Fenris wasn't so pretty (as you say) if you would still consider him worthy of your Hawke.
He is not a girl Moto! Honestly... *takes deep breath*
I agree. On top of the other unintentionally insulting implications that mpreg poses, there's also the issue of imposing heteronormative standards on a same-sex couple like M!Hawke and Fenris. (Which I personally suspect to be a subconsciously homophobic mindset, but I don't have time to get into it.) Suffice it to say, I agree that just because Hawke is taller, broader and as a more dominant personality and Fenris is shorter, thinner and has a more submissive personality doesn't mean they need to fall into traditional heterosexual gender roles, with Hawke as "the man," Fenris as "the woman," and having a baby that Fenris carries to term.
I can't speak for Hawke, but Fenris is a man. (A bisexual man, but a man none-the-less.) Let him be a man.
I'm sorry Moto. You're entitled to your tastes and opinions and I'm sure you mean well, but some of the... um, ships that you support have some questionable cargo in them, even if you don't know they're there. I don't want to insult or upset you (Lord knows I have some weird tastes of my own) but there are some unfortunate implications of mpreg to consider...
