Thank you so much. Will definitely be ordering them. <3 The only thing is I probably won't get the male scents....although I might get Fenris' just to see what people think he smells like.


Edit: Ordered them all except the Varric and Zevran ones. I need to know what Anders and Fenris smell like...

Edit2 because I dont want to double post: Am finally sitting down to watch Dawn of the Seeker. Am only 10 mins in but hope it gets better - mages just shot little bursts of lightening from their hands without a staff/weapon and it made the 'pew pew' noise that the ships in Star Wars makes when it fires its weapons. <_<

Yeah, Dawn of the Seeker wasn't particually amazing. It was alright, but not great. I did like how they portrayed Cassandra. I just wish they hadn't made the guy (can't spell his name) kinda like the load.

Hey it's nice to see you again Ren mention Keran saying that I think. Also, wanted to say thank you for trying to find out about the DA comment since I was one of the people pestering you. Wonder if the DA person really did talk to someone at Bioware?

Romancing Fenris THEN Anders is much much harder. I did that my last play through and at one point Anders makes really snide comments to Fenris about leaving Hawke and saying how stupid he is etc. Made killing him at the end a lot easier im telling you...

Urgh, I know EXACTLY what you mean. Just, I don't kill Anders at the end, because I see the bigger punishment is him living with what he's done rather than maryting him like he wants. I can never bring myself to romance anyone else but Fenris in that game, just like Alistair in Origins, and Garrus in ME2 and 3 (I have to go with Kaidan in the first game because kncoking plates with Garrus is not an option ). It's so hard to romance another when your favourite is there as well. It actually feels like cheating, doen't it?

Hey serious business time ladies...I wondering if it was possible to go with the Mages, with a below 70% romanced Fenris, get to shi fight scene and try to lure him back to your side.

Appearently this can be done with Anders on the opposite side and certain makers flagged...wonder if it was possible for Fenris?

His wiki page says this:


If Hawke has any (0-100%) amount of friendship or less than 50% rivalry (1-49%) or exactly 100% rivalry with Fenris, he can still be convinced to join the party at this point.

If Hawke chooses any reply other than "Join me" or has more than or equal to 50% and less than 100% rivalry with him (50-99%), Fenris objects Hawke. Later he shows up with a group of city guards inside the Gallows and Hawke has to kill him.

Fenris is very tricky to romance. Though for some reason, me flirting with Anders doesn't do a thing, but with Isabela is bugs his romance strangely enough.

To be honest, I've never had a problem romancing Fenris. And now, to make my life easier, I give him 95% friendship straight off the bat (100% will bug it); that way I can be all mage-happy and not have him hate Hawke xD

To be honest, it's difficult to romance Fenris if you're very pro-mage and anti-slavery, because your friendship and rivalry levels will be bouncing all around and will probably remain at neutral. As I think the average player is pro-mage and anti-slavery, this is probably where all the frustrations about his romance (or even just trying to be friends with him) come from. :c

I am not pro-mage (or pro-templar, really), and I hate slavery, so I've managed to get roughly 80-90% Friendship by the end of Act 1 when I play.

^ I'd tend to agree with this. Unless you're quite strategic with your play through (ie leave him behind on certain missions) it can be tough to make him a friend/enemy. Same with Isabela I find. If you're a 'helpful' sort you're regularly getting small amounts of rivalry points from her. And, because she can leave if you keep her 'neutral', it has a more obvious impact on the storyline.
