Just out of interest (and my future writing)....what's overboard? I'm not sure if you mean fairly graphic sex or stuff that hits most people's ickmeter like...incest etc...

Yeah stuff like Incest or beastiality are when it goes overboard, also the stories that are nothing but smut without even introducing a plot or even the characters...  Those types just make me want to bang my head on a table...  Note the headache

Yeah the incest thing is too much IMHO (and is fairly frequent...there are more Bethany/Hawke stories than I'd have expected). I admit I've never come across any beastiality ones but that would be a definite blip on my ickmeter too. 

Agree about the random sex scene aspect of it. I hope mine doesn't come across like that then...hmmm I hope people review it.

Since you are writing PWP there's a good chance you will get a lot of reviews.  Most of my stories that are rated M get lots of reviews, whereas the stuff I write lately, which is significantly less sexy, gets like, two reviews <_<

If you are writing sex, you just have to make sure you write it well.  Don't really need to have a good story (if you're going for reviews).  But that isn't to say that porn-seekers aren't also appreciative of a good story.  I just know that if you DON'T put sex in it, you have a hard ass time trying to find someone who will read it, let alone review it.

(P.S. Don't worry about writing a bad sex scene; the bad sex scenes I'm talking about are the ones written by virginal teenagers who honestly don't know what the heck they are talking about )

Here ya go Starr! dragonage-kink.livejournal.com/   too bad most of the really awesome fics on there have been abandoned. Lots of good prompts though when you need a plot bunny and the Op's are usually really happy to get even a little fill. I have had a couple requests filled then found out they were filled by some of my fave authors on Ao3. My main prob is that I am usually really good at characters and plot, and really sucky at sex. Hence the not being comfortable enough to post fics as me and not anon. One day. I dunno maybe I should collab with another author.

Eesh. I was apparently never meant to mod cause I got the zipped files but they don't wanna run. Thanks for your assistance anyways Moto!

Seriously, the lack of plot and character development forced me to skim most of it. It was nothing but smut. Yet this woman is becoming a multi-millionaire. (Shakes head)

What are you using to open them?  I use WinRAR.  Seems like a dumb question, but you never know.  What are you running?  Windows or Mac?  What version Windows?  We'll figure this out ... everyone should have the chance to mod, since they took so much away from us in DA2...

IT IS REWRITTEN TWILIGHT FANFICTION.  NO LIE.

And it's so terribly written.  Most of those virginal teenagers I mentioned can write better sex.

There were dialogue options for Hawke to be angry or surprised, which is fine if your Hawke has that kind of reaction, but as for me personally, I was like, she deserved it!  I was proud of Fenris for NOT keeping his word.

I may be coming out of nowhere, but I'm never really that fond of just killing people out of hand. Though it's interesting if Fenris later says that he wanted to let her go but couldn't.

Me too! When he killed her I was both "Well!! You can be a devious little bugger as well, can't you? I never knew you had it in you *squee*" and "YES! DIE, YOU PRETENTIOUS, ARROGANT MAGISTER POWER WHOAR!"  
Also, I wanted to record all the different dialogue options (yes I'm one of THOSE people ) so after the kill I had to go through the "You gave your word" dialogue and I felt really, really bad about it. It was completely opposite of my feelings and even if a small part of me was thinking "well, he did sort of give his word" the other 99,9999% was yelling, "well how many times do you think she's 'promised' Fenris something out of spite and meanness only to back down on her word and treat him like carp?" And thus I justify my actions

Ahaha so my problem has been having nothing on my comp that can open an rar file. So yah, dummy moment. Now I have it opened, kinda dumb question but I assume I can't mess with their clothes and whatnot till they are in my party?

Aww all my Hawkes feel like jerks cause they all get a little snotty and very "Sooo much for your word!"

OMG my Dragon Age scented perfumes arrived!! Would you like to know what everyone smells of? Course you would...

Anders smells like chai tea latte (spicy and lovely...)
Leliana smells like cake...
Morrigan smells like sandalwood and smoke (shocker there eh?)
Merrill smells of flowers and greenery (definite hint of Daisy there. )
Isabela sort of smells like......toilet cleaner. Not so nice... Hahahaha....

And last, but certainly NOT least, Fenris smells of smoke, patchouli and a wee tiny bit of medicinally smell! Hahaha. 

Anders is definitely my favourite though which is weird because I only ordered him as a side to see what they thought it would be like. It's totally perfect though - when I smell it it really does make me think that's what his Darktown clinic would smell like. The only disappointment was Isabela smelling like bleach a wee bit. I'd definitely recommend them if you like more spicy smells. If you're more into flowery or traditional perfumy smells the only one that really seems to fit that is Merrill's.

Oh and they also sent a sample of one of the eyeshadows they do (called Big Damn Heroes which I ALSO loved ) but I wasn't expecting it to be pigment (not solid colour) so when I opened it, it exploded a little and  I got navy blue glittery eyeshadow all over my work laptop. Boss is unimpressed.

P.S. @ All ~ Yeah I know it's a little on the violent side to come out in favor of Fenris killing her, but I guess it's the whole slave owner thing ... I've got no empathy for people like that.  They're sort of up there with rapists and child molesters for me for some reason ... almost psychopaths.  What about Hadriana is human and worthy of sympathy?  I don't know ... okay I'm trying to justify Fenris' violence in this instant lol Never a good thing.

But cheers to the writers for creating a scene that actually encourages us to cheer when he does it!

Well, we don't know her, so how can we know what's relatable/sympathetic? But then, I don't believe anyone is really beyond redemption.

Yup, I actually have Hawke in the champion armour with a weird pike, stick thingy. Hmmm, the things I want to test! like since we know now how to change their armour or swap models I wonder if we can get the armours that the modders make. so that fun over coat that Fenris has? Or putting those different tattoos of our Hawkes. Too bad there is nothing like Me's Gibbed Editor for DA cause I would have loved to swap in head morphes.

FYI: this is a coat-jacket thing that I believe the "fun over coat" for Fenris is based off of: gen_im_npc_elf_arm_cht_appd  It's a complete outfit, so no gloves or boots needed.

And I usually put Athenril's armor on him; it looks great:

Lol that's one of my fave scenes of him. The lyrium glow diffuse makes him look so great.
