Woohoo! Welcome to the fandom of DA:O, aldien! We're glad to have you aboard!
Alistair is such a sweetheart, isn't he? My "canon" City Elven Warden fell for him fast and hard, despite being obsessively pro-elf in all other aspects of her life. His solid moral compass, sweet nature and snarky sense of humour (and boyish yet masculine good looks) were just too hard to resist!

(Though I think she would have picked Zevran if she'd met him first, or even a little sooner. By that point, she had already emotionally committed to Alistair.)
I've known quite a few couples where the guy was tall/huge and the woman was short/tiny, and my dad especially is really big and huge while my mom so short and tiny (he's a foot and a half taller than her and even their torso width difference is nothing to sneeze at), so I find the elven women and human men to be very believable.
For Fenris, it's not the size of the boat, it's the motion of the ocean.

Sorry, couldn't resist. I don't know, maybe he's very well-equipped even by human standards, or maybe he compensates in other areas? He's got those long beautiful fingers, and, as Isabela points out, there's that fisting thing he could do... *fans self*
Alistair was the best surprise of the whole game. I had formed this opinion of him from the small time he gets in DA2 and I was very unimpressed. So I didn't have high expectations. Now, I find my elven mage either kissing him or going back to camp too often

She can't walk the next day because humans and elves.. you know it's not physically possible. (looks at you Ren.)

His solid moral compass, sweet nature and snarky sense of humour (and
boyish yet masculine good looks) were just too hard to resisthow do you do that? You summed him up so eloquently in one sentence.
Zevran is my next target once I get this playthrough out of the way if I can resist Alistair next playthrough :/ Right now Zevran reminds me of the first time I met Fenris and I couldn't quite understand the depth of the character.
Elf/human sex
But elves and humans are different species. It may have something to do with DAO elves standing next to Alistair. My elven mage looks so tiny! And well I like to think he isn't

Nah, see, I have this theory. I forgot about it until I saw the picture of Hawke and Fenris posted by Ren. Isabela ogles his crotch in that scene when she is talking about the senechal's tax collecter and she says: she likes what she sees. I'm considering the possibility she can tell if a man is well endowed even when dressed. Plus, Fenris's ummmmm part is accentuated by his clothing and it doesn't look particularly small. Am I really having this conversation? I mean really???
The finger comment and fisting thing made me blush and that takes some doing. You so naughty today Fae!

Sorry for spoilers!!! Did not mean to
In my defense it's not that linear (nothing in DAO is) and without
knowing _how to_ you will not marry him.
As for king stuff...
Despite of several endings in real world it would be pretty much "king
Alistair" or "dead Alistair" (just remember Orzamar and Anora's way of
ruling. No power hungry smart ruler would leave such thread walking
around). But you don't have to believe me on that.
I don't want to know how to marry him. I didn't even know I could until five minutes ago. I have no idea who Anora is and I haven't made it to Orzamar yet. I don't even see it on my map. Just shhhhhhh. I'll fumble through it with Ali by my side and hope for the best regardless of whether or not I get to marry him or not. No more spoilers. I have too many people on here to aggrevate to have to leave.
