Yes! Finally! I can post on this computer.

Alistair was the best surprise of the whole game. I had formed this opinion of him from the small time he gets in DA2 and I was very unimpressed. So I didn't have high expectations. Now, I find my elven mage either kissing him or going back to camp too often
She can't walk the next day because humans and elves.. you know it's not physically possible. (looks at you Ren.)
Alistair is very nice, isn't he? I went in not expecting much either, but he just took the game by storm for me. My character was a very passionate city elf who spent every waking moment thinking on how she could use her new status to help her people, yet immediately befriended and soon fell into genuine love with the very human Alistair. I brought him with me everywhere, talked to him about everything, kissed and cuddled and spent just about every night with him. He's such a cute, funny sweetheart!
Eh, it's fantasy and your girl has magic, anything is possible.

His solid moral compass, sweet nature and snarky sense of humour (and
boyish yet masculine good looks) were just too hard to resist
how do you do that? You summed him up so eloquently in one sentence.
Lol It's a gift.

Zevran is my next target once I get this playthrough out of the way if I can resist Alistair next playthrough :/ Right now Zevran reminds me of the first time I met Fenris and I couldn't quite understand the depth of the character.
Zevran is a very great character. He's fun, flirty, surprisingly sweet, interesting and even complex. I won't say how because I don't want to burden you with any spoilers, but I do recommend talking to him often and/or bringing him along for quests if/when you can. If not this playthrough, then definitely the next one when you make a character to romance him. He's so worth the exploration.
I think the prude in me will always like Alistair a little more (OMG a cute, sweet, manly man who's just as repressed as I am! Let's go!), but Zevran is an extremely,
extremely close second. Since he shows up a little later in the game, I have to do multiple playthroughs to take him to every place, but even now I'm often pleasantly surprised to learn new things more about him. Zevran is so deceptively deep and complex and I just love peeling back the layers, kind of like with Fenris. Worth every minute. =)

Oh Fae! I did not expect that from you! ROFLMAO!!! What has everyone been smoking today? Thread is funny. I keep laughing so hard I'm tearing up and can't see my warden. She's going to end up with strange face if it keeps up.
Nah, see, I have this theory. I forgot about it until I saw the picture of Hawke and Fenris posted by Ren. Isabela ogles his crotch in that scene when she is talking about the senechal's tax collecter and she says: she likes what she sees. I'm considering the possibility she can tell if a man is well endowed even when dressed. Plus, Fenris's ummmmm part is accentuated by his clothing and it doesn't look particularly small. Am I really having this conversation? I mean really???
The finger comment and fisting thing made me blush and that takes some doing. You so naughty today Fae!
lol I just spent a long weekend vacationing with raunchy friends who love drinking and partying. I'm the resident prude of any group, and stayed in the hotel for the after-hours part of it, but even I wasn't completely unaffected by their antics.

(Still have "The Merry Wives of Windsor" songs stuck in my head as well.)
Yeah, I guess Fenris is just very blessed in that department. I hear the devs made DA2 elves taller because some players complained about Zevran being too short (which wouldn't be a problem if they played elves or dwarves, but I'm not at all biased, can't you tell? ;D), and they made Fenris' body type 50% more muscular than other DA2 male elves, so I wouldn't be at all surprised if they decided to make him... *ahem* more manly in another area, as well.
(I still like the idea of him compensating in other ways even if he doesn't need to though, not going to lie.)
