Why was Fenris taken down from the main page? Not a companion anymore? :D

Perhaps he's getting some new info. Or Ser Gaider is ready to do this to us:

I wonder how many times a day the Grand Poobah considers that.

Ooh, I've just been thinking about the different kinds of interaction your surviving family might have with your love interest.

I feel this way often. Basically everytime a new shred of info comes out. I am a pathetic, pathetic fangirl.

Thankfully (or unfortunately, depending on how you lok at it), my husband's birthday is the day after the game comes out. So I won't be able to binge-game too much; I promised, assured, and swore a blood oath that I'd not even look at Dragon Age 2 for his entire birthday.

Also, anyone else going to go get the game at midnight? I did that with Awakening, because it came out the same day as God of War III (I stood in line and everything . . . imagine the clerk's surprise when I asked for Awakening instead!).

Well... at least Papa Hawke won't be present... Papa Hawke would simply glare at any man that dare touch his little Hawkette and then lob a fireball at them. Or at least I'm assuming.

They probably looked at you like you were a miracle or something-- I bet they were getting sick of getting the other game.

As for midnight-- nada for me. I'll be waiting until about noon the day it comes out-- then I slip over to the GameStop I pre-ordered at that is hiding in a ignored little corner behind a nearby gas station instead of the two others in the area that will be chalk full of people.

 Heh, if that's not a sign of true love, I don't know what is. I'm in the opposite situation (thankfully/unfortunately). The game comes out the same week as my birthday, so my boyfriend has assured me he'll let me play as much as I want. Except for the night of the pesky birthday party. Psh. Who wants a party when you can have glowing, broody elves? *grumbles*

Edit - @Crimsynn - Yes, I suppose the whole 'partner being intimidated by your over-protective father' thing is only heightened when you know he can summon a fireball with his hands.

I had to ask for it twice. I don't think the clerk could quite believe it. Then he told me it wasn't coming out until later in the month (which was just silly), and his co-worker came over and reminded him that it had technically come out today. He stared at me in a confused manner and then left to find it. It was pretty classic.

Best. Mental image. Ever. Poor Fem!Hawke would probably be celibate for years.

I do not think that Fenris will be a LI (please do not kill me)

Did no one else find it odd that his description notes that he was a slave to a Tevinter magister. Ever since the Imperium converted to the chant hundreds of years ago there should not be any magisters left, because even if the Imperal chantry is run by mages I seriously doubt that any of them would adopt the title of magister considering the magisters are the ultimate symbol of corruption according to the chant.

Hm. Maybe your house grows nicer and nicer as you become more and more well known?

Or something. I don't know.

I think that would be really cool! I really loved in Awakening how all the little knick-knacks you picked up in your travels somehow found their way into Vigil's Keep, like the dragon egg and the golem shell. It would be great if Hawke's living space could grow and change to reflect their personality. Lawful Good Hawke? Tasteful tapestries! Chaotic Neutral Hawke? HEADS. HEADS EVERYWHERE. ON SPIKES.

.... Everytime I think about this game I just get so excited! Posted Image

Fixed. B)

=Edit=

Chaotic Neutral Hawke would have a simple design. It'd be practical, probably with a few secret passageways, while still having also a taste of a refined, simple elegance.

 Oh my. If Chaotic Neutral Hawke adorns his/her abode with heads, what on earth does Chaotic Evil Hawke use for decoration?

That mofo's house probably looks live a reaver ship.

*Looking at SmaiLika's art*

D'aaw..that's just so sweet and romantic. You can just see how much those gentle touches mean to them, carefully avoiding touching too much of Fen's markings.

*Spoilers from ME2*

The way their foreheads are touching reminds me of the GarrusShepard love scene*

Oh noes...

Wittand25 wrote...

I hope that they don´t promise us information, have you forgotten the last time ?

For those either to young or to old to remember, in January 09 we finally annoyed Mr. Gaider enough that he promised revelations regarding romances on Valentine´s day. What we actually got instead was the announcement that DA:O would be delayed for six months. I could not take it if this happens again for DA2.

But we aren't annoying him, right? He loves us! And we love him back <3

How I see it is that Hawke is from a family of apostate mages. Now just from that little fact I kinda view Hawke's family being pretty liberal when it comes to who our hero is in a relationship with.

Carver: I just don't get it uncle, she's in love with an elf!

Uncle!Hawke: Lad, you've been in Ferelden for too long. Let me tell you something, for generations our family has been hunted by the Chantry and treated like outcasts among the people they have called neighbor. The Elves are no different than we are and there have been many fine elven men and women who have lived with us throughout our history.

Carver: But he's trouble, he's got this Tevinter Magister and Maker knows who else hunting him! I don't want that to endanger her.

Uncle!Hawke: Carver, she's an aspiring champion. Danger has been this family's constant companion for Maker
knows how long. Besides, he's got a decent head on his shoulders and seems to genuinely care about her. Plus that no-nonsense thing he' got going on will at least help her keep focused on her role as champion. I know you want to keep her safe, but she's a grown woman lad, and she can take care of herself.

Carver: Alright, I'll give him a chance but if he hurts her.

Uncle!Hawke: (taps his staff on the floor) Then he'll have us to contend with lad.

As for the mass puppy eye all I have to say is this.
