A side note and total off topic: making another "perfect run" in DAO. And have to say that "lock-bash" and "gff4 editor" are MUST HAVE mods. How I even played without them? Oh, and Zevran morf can be the second one I approve

But hot... Oh, so hot!
As for DA3 - I would not worry about "end of 2013". BW is always pushing their release dates. 2014 is more likely the release year.

As much as I love that naked Fenris pics, something is not anatomically correct on the second one. Muscles at this area look different normally.

Hmm, you're right, his abdomen does look odd. I think maybe the shadows mess it up a bit. He is arching his back, so some folding of the skin is logical. It still looks weird though.

Fine, I will now bore the pants off of....err....no one (apparently), and discuss my latest play through with Castor Hawke. This is the first time I have ever played a Mage/Aggro/Diplo (smidge of snarky when it felt character appropriate) in a Friendmance with Fenris. It is THE best run (RP wise) I think I have ever had. I am so in love with this style, that I am going to make Harley (my F!Hawke 2hd Warrior) in the same vein as Castor (she is only half way through the first Act and I was already using just about every Direct dialogue choice that came up, so it should be difficult.) It especially works well with the Friendmance; it feels the most sympatico with Fenris. Well, it does for me at least.
What are some of your favorite styles of RPing with a Fenris romance? And why?

I still prefer the rivalmance as a mage, I enjoy the dynamic of trying to reason with him and him coming to an understanding/realization over the game that not all mages are evil or bad. I've never seen the rivalmance as yelling at him, however I do need to clarify that I rivalmance with a diplomatic mage (no snark/aggression).
I'm planning my first DA2 PT on the PC to be with a snarky/agro warrior who will friendmance Fenris, I think I should give the friendmance another go.
Ahh poor Jacob. He gets no love. Of course, after I realized what happens in ME3, not sure if my Shepard that is planning to go for him in ME2 will even bother now. : (
on that note, since I mentioned it once or twice in this thread and it took almost 6mo for me to finish:
I filled out an ME3 meme, woot http://absoluteapril...t.com/#/d5f7mux
I liked how the Tali/Legion panel came out. I know you must be bored and want to go check it out right?
next big project, after I finish reading the Calling, is to go back and tackle the Leto/Varania picture. Trying new things and I intimidated myself with it. lol Then probably some more ME fan art. I was also thinking of doing an Orsino fan art, don't see a lot of him?

So is Castor ever aggro with Fenris? That's the one thing I could never do! *is weak to those sad puppy eyes*
Favorite RPing style with Fenbear is mostly sarcastic rogue Hawke with the friendmance. Mostly so that in the second-to-last romance scene, Hawke will respond to Fenris' apology with that snarky "Oh, I could get used to hearing that" smart ass response hahahaha xD
I feel like a snarky Hawke balances out Fenris' sadness. Fenris smiles more with snarky Hawke!
Yeah Fenris is getting bashed in the F/M thread (haha I even "bashed" him, but just saying I didn't like him for female Hawke) so if you want more emo cuties for your ladies better go have your say!!
But I am carrying the torch in the M/M thread; a lot of the gaymers prefer more macho guys. They are elf-haters! *weep*

I don't see Fenris as "sad" exactly, so that might have something to do with it. Again, each Hawke I play, I try and imagine how "they" would view Fenris, and not strictly what I KNOW about Fenris (hehe...I already metagame to much as it is. *smirk*)
BTW, I adore snarky Hawkes with Fen as well, but I have played soooo many of them. My two favorite snarky Hawkes were my F!Hawke DW Rogue (Mace), and my M!Hawke Mage (Zander) who was actually Direct/Snarky.
I already stated my peace in that thread. It gets tiring trying to make people understand why you like something, when they don't. So, I choose not to do it....very often (never say never...heh.)

I know, and after awhile you realize the pointlessness of it. Well, actually the point isn't to "convert" people to your side but to get in enough votes for "your kind of guy" so that the devs will notice 8D
Yes, share Castor and Fenris' dialogue! I just get into such a rut with DA (both games). If I romance the same person, I end up playing the same person. To play a different Hawke, I almost have to romance someone else.

Coldy, Castor the long haired hottie from the previous page? Ooh, yeah, I can just imagine the dynamic you describe. It does sound interesting as well as fun.
And to answer the question myself... Well, I already mentioned that I only have one character per romance, since I really don't have the
moto, argh, I know what you mean =__= I visited the forum for five nanoseconds and saw threads like "Let us kill Tallis!", "Give several options for the PCs voice" (yeah, like that's financially sound), "How about redesigning the elves again?" and so on. That made me remember why I post on only two threads in the entire forum. I just prefer to enjoy things and seeing so many people not enjoying things makes me upset.
eggs, (hi there!) and you were very right to do so! Even if hearing an important character's voice from some other bloke (I call it the Samson Syndrome) weirds me out, it's practically tradition now! So, yeah, more Gideon! Can't ever have enough.

I’m in the middle of doing a rivalmance with Fenris at the moment and it’s breaking my heart to be so horrible to him. Going to start a new character in a moment so I can have a break from the nastiness.
I much prefer making him laugh and I love the conversation that Hawke has with him if you do Legacy in Act 3... “uhm....kinky”!!!

haha don't we all? As much as I may try not to, it always sneaks in there somewhere. Now I kinda of pre-plan out what I 'expect' to happen in the PT based on the character I have in mind, it doesn't always work out that way however. (Like my first warrior F!Hawke that was supposed to like Isabela and ended up with Fenris. But really, can you blame her?)

Yeah Fenris is getting bashed in the F/M thread
Nooooos!! *sad face* Well.. I get that some people don't like him, but perhaps I do not understand the depth of it since I tend to hang around here in the lovely FenThread the majority of the time.
I've been avoiding the DA3 threads, they are on fire, going pages per minute, I can't keep up. Plus the devs say they don't want the same people making the same points/requests over and over... but it's hard not to.
Oh! And according to WIKI, Gideon did not voice any ME3 characters. Perhaps he was too busy with Skyrim or something. I saw on there he did a voice for Dragons' Dogma... I thought about getting that game but read some not-very-steller reviews.
edit to add - Eggs - what do you mean by "horrible" to him? Which 'personality' are you using?
I've heard this before but I don't see it which is why I ask.

Yup, Castor is the long-haired hottie!
See, there in lies the problem for me. I don't really play any other games anymore. I know; kind of pathetic. heh! I used to love hack n' slash games (like Champions of Norath), Adventure games (like Gabriel Knight), played Kingdom Hearts quite a bit, and Ratchet and Clank for a while. Even went through a weird Animal Crossing phase (yes, I am in my 40's.....kid at heart??).
But over the past few years, I just haven't found any other games that I am interested in. I tried Unchartered (I absolutely blow at stealth based games....didn't know it was one...HA!). Got through 20 minutes of AC....another game that had me bonking my head against the wall. And Gods of War, seemed really "off" to me (didn't like it when it told me what button to push...not my thing.)
So I stick with these games (DAO:UE, DA2, ME1 and ME2). Which probably explains why I try and make up a lot of RP reasons to replay these games.

I’m not going to import their saves from Origins which means I have to play it at 2 times per profile to get all achievements for them. My son wants to finish getting the achievements himself though....spoil sport!
Sorry everyone, I will grow up and act my age....one day, until then....I'm coming for you Fenris!

Well, Kas is really more laconically blunt than caustic, but he's got his moments. I wrote him as being a bit of a cloudcuckoolander (he is an artists after all) under a layer of calm seriousness, so even if he says few things, they still have the effect of dropping a bomb. He also constantly bumps into things due to being lost in thought. But he does it with a very serious expression!
Well, I play practically all the games, but writing characters is only required in RPGs so it's not that much, but I have really high standards when it comes to such things. If two of my characters are too alike, than I just get bored with them and lose immersion, so a lot of time must be spent on developing each one, otherwise I can't

@eggs - (still love the name!) I have only done one Rivalmance with Fenris (Tyrel Hawke), and he was fairly Aggro in personality, but Diplo/Charming (with a bit of snarky) for the most part with Fenris. It's actually kind of nice that Fenris is relatively easy to Rival just through quests (let all the mages go, and put on your mage *Pom-Poms*), that way you can still talk nicely/charmingly to him.
@Flippy - Nothing wrong with high standards. Probably makes for really good stories.
hehe...I see what you did there. Lovely pervy poster. XD
