I'll tell you who had a nice set of cheekbones you cheekbone people, Aveline. It was her prominent feature after the red hair, I think.
Ren, when you play DA2 do you use a shortcut for cheats or do you click on the original game icon? Cause if you use the shortcut it will never load up. Harle taught me that. I managed to get my librarian uploaded, but since then no one else.
I do currently use a special shortcut so that I can activate the console, but have been playing a long time before that and no Hawke of mine has ever uploaded. Only the default of my ex, who played on a different computer. I have activated the sharing options and all that, but still no Hawke's. And only part of my Wardens. Oh well, at least the one I wanted for my avatar decided to show up.

[/i]I'm disowning you. No brain twin of mine is going to have these thoughts!. Seriously, I could see the challenge of writing Danarius. That would be an interesting psyche to peruse and then want to mutilate. I could never decide if he was an extremely intelligent man or not. He risked a lot to keep going after Fenris.
I think Danarius had little choice. Fenris was his prized possession. The success of his experiment, envied by all other magisters. Having that precious slave escape led undoubtedly to much ridicule. His opponents in the senate will have used it to smear his reputation and make him look like a fool. Having Fenris back on a leash was probably the only way to save some of his face.
Besides that it was probably personal for Danarius too. We don't know how long Fenris has served him, but it must have been years. During those years Fenris has served his master in every way. He has protected him against assassinations, dealt with his enemies, and - presumably - even had more intimate duties. I imagine that Danarius developed a twisted affection for his unique slave. Again, Fenris was the reward for all his hard work, the pay off for his experiments. Having a weapon like that will have secured his position as an important figure in Tevinter.
I'm not saying Danarius loved Fenris. The sick bastard doesn't know what love is. But I think he appreciated Fenris in a way that lies between the way one appreciates a sweet, obedient pet, and one's most valuable, precious possession. Fenris running away after years of obedient servitude probably felt like a betrayal to Danarius. He has given Fenris powers a slave and non-mage could only dream of, has treated him with affection (I'm assuming Fenris lived better than the average slave, at least when Hadriana was not the one responsible for his meals), and then the ungrateful beast turns away from the hand that fed and petted him.
So, that is basically the point of view I used when writing about Danarius. I think he is very intelligent; only the success of a unique experiment proves that. Also, becoming a magister in Tevinter no doubt requires cunning and the ability to scheme. You're not going to live long in a prominent position if you can't.
If I was going to be an evil genius in the DA universe, I'd want to look like and walk like the magister who was running the slave trade in DA:O, Caladrius. That guy was the best when it came to poised, controlled, wonderous villain. He even had a cool name. I hope we meet more magisters like him in DA3. He was interesting and then he died. Boo hoo.
Ooh, yes, that was a cold, cunning bastard. I think he never made it out of my game alive... or just once, with super evil warden.
Alright, screenshots. Old screenshots:
I don't like all the blood on his face. Oh well. Fenris and Damian.

Aah, so close!

Other Hawke's. My blood mage Sylwina:

Silly rogue on the right. I think I named her Kitty. xD
