Actually with no import you don't even meet Thane
Oh I fully intend to play 1&2. They and ME3 are all on my xmas list 8D Had to play (and rush through) ME3 at someone else's house.

As someone who has played all three....expect some character assissanation on Thane, Jacob(yes I choose him over Kaiden), Ashley, Samara, Joker, TIM...just yeah.

@April - SHARE!!! Oh...I mean; could you please share your ME1 cheat sheet with the rest of the class?
Yeah I can do that, it's scribbled on binder paper, I'll see if I can get it typed up tomorrow.
I hope your finger is okay!

The thing that still does grab my attention no matter what, is when in ME1 a character is done talking... They just stare at you for a second, dramatically turn their head to the right, then their whole body and walk away in that direction. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME..

I loved ME1 for the story, ME2 for the characters and ME3 for the romances and I too am a completionist which is tiresome for ME1 and freaking mind raping for ME2. I refuse to ever scan a planet again... ever. (Except for in ME3 when planet scanning was necessary.
Moto- Play them all baby doll! (<< pain killers kicking in, Sorry.) The game play in ME1 can be a bit... uhg, even more so after ME3 I remember trying to roll into cover a few times. Lol, actually I brought that into DA2 as well.
*Hawke jogs out of Ogres way, gets hit, goes flying*
Me: "Arrrrhhhggg! Why you no roll!"
Hawke: I can't!!!
Garrus: *sob* me either!

Ghost, how has Samara been assassinated? I get all the others (ugh, Jacob...), but why her? I know the reasons Joker is included on the list. I don't agree with them, but I know them, but I've never encountered an argument for Samara.
Also, Ashley's character wasn't so much assassinated as it was amputated totally. Which is weird, why flesh out one VS and leave the other in the dust? I was under the impression that of the two Ash is the more popular one. But, Kaidan does have a very dedicated following...
April, that is glorious! Thank you for giving me a laugh XDD
Fleshdress, there is one awesome thing in ME1 gameplay, that is missing from all the others - biotics! They're utterly broken in that game, but nothing can top juggling two geth colossi with each hand, while an entire room of mooks is tossed around a Singularity. A then you use Throw! Ah, good times.

Ahh yes, I also miss that. Also, sitting up a cliff looking down at those enemy camps and sniping them. They would scatter but still not know where you were. Peons! All of them! Bahahahaha... Your making me miss ME1, stop that. I am already suffering under the trial of DA:O for the trillionth time. Plus the CC... I don't want to, want to revisit that beast.
Running Geth over is also missed, though the Mako isn't if that makes sense.
We are missing a ToP in here again... Fen thread has gotten lazy with it's ToPs. I know, it was a chore and everyone hated getting it but, it did help keep things a little more on topic to have a Fen to drool all over first thing.

This is possibly my favorite Aimo pic. I just find it so sad, bust so sweet.

I actually kinda miss the Mako too, because it brought that unique exploration element to the game. Don't get me wrong, the stupid space buggy handled like a bronto, but it wasn't so bad once you get used to the controls. I miss all these places.
Aw, that’s so… Man… Aimo really is the best.

Aw yeah, I miss being able to do that! There's nothing quite like the feeling of successfully Lifting your first colossus. I preferred sniping in ME2 though. Dat Widow
Oh ME3, why do you have to taint these happy memories in retrospect? *sigh*
Concerning the invisi-Hawke on the previous page, I installed a mod that purported to make mage robes "more sensible" on my last playthrough. Namely, it turned most of them into the same kind of outfit as what a mage Hawke starts out in. Unfortunately, since I paired it with Diversified Follower Armours, it didn't quite play nice with characters who were wearing no other gear. I therefore had the surprise of seeing an armless, legless Beth (whom I had stripped before going to the Deep Roads without her) being taken to the Circle at the end of Act I, in an outfit that didn't look like a robe (which, considering the context, obviously made no sense). Meaning that she was stuck like that on the party selection screen as well until I played Legacy. Got rid of that mod ASAP after that. Which is a shame, mind you, because non-Circle mages could definitely do with less ostensibly magey gear in DA.

They really could. Moto teaching me how to mod the staff out for the sword while keeping my spells was really the best thing to ever happen to my DA 2 playthroughs imersion wise. Plus it made much more sense when Fen was all "I should have realized sooner what you really were" cause in all my other mage playthoughs I was all "Yes, yes you should have.
Edit. I am off to bed, work, work and more work tomorrow. But, Nilf, I was back reading some old posts and read the page where you first decided to de-lurke and I stole your welcome cookie! I am a bad, bad person so uhh here, Fen said he'd make you some.

Hey, did you just dare insult Kaidan?! D:< I kid, I kid. Garrus is awesome too after all, we agree on that.
I don't think so. Garrus is rather short on dialogue in ME2. Wait until you get his Loayalty mission, should be soon.

Ok, I'll hold my wroth toward Kaidan
Shepard for me is a soldier and nobody else. Though, Miranda and Jacob proved that you can be both (soldier and biotic) and it can look and feel good. Might even try next time (like abilities is the thing that makes Shepard so awesome)

Nah, I was just kidding, feel free to express yourself however you like. The Horizon mission brings out many negative emotions even among Kaidanites. It's arse on a stick, basically. Give it some time and you'll cool off, first playthroughs are always the most emotional.
Ah, well, it's your game, but I still strongly insist that you give it some thought. It's like saying the Warden can only be human, you're really missing out! The biotic classes are badass. Who else can toss geth colossi around like it ain't no thang? Or eat a rocket with their face (Barrier) and not flinch, while shredding apart the attacker's molecular bonds with their mind? Like I said, first playthroughs are always very emotional, you get attached to certain perspectives, but in the long run you gain more by branching out))

The bad one - Garrus did not comment it anyhowEven Illusive man found a couple of words, and Joker is wonderful as usual, but Garrus is still too busy to talk. I did not ruin anything in previous conversations, did I?
Actually, if you bring Garrus along on Horizon, he has a few choice words for Kaidan. Although this happens regardless of whether you romanced Kaidan in ME1 or not. But yeah, the Garrusmance only kicks in once you've solved his Sidonis problem. Kaidan's pic will also be turned face down on Shep's desk once you start.

That's odd. Did he not say "Damn it Kaidan?" Kaidan should then remark "Garrus too?"
Have fun with Garrus.

I think her character was slightly assiassinated due to the her being an older asari....and well the role of hot alien babe was
.yeah Ill just forgo the sarcasm, bu essentially for someone who was intrguied by the fact I could persue a lesbian relationship with Samara that wasn't all stereotype hot girl sex and more "Care to meditate and sip tea darling?" really appealed to me. Just knowing I couldn't romance her was like a slap on the hand.

Amirit- Yah I don't know why but my male sheps are always really sweet when they see Kaidan on Horizon and my female Sheps are just biting at the bit for a renegade interrupt. How are you liking interrupts cause if you like them you should help me push for them in the DA3 threads. *crosses fingers the ability to push target off... something high* In Grunt's loyalty mission take the renegade interrupt! Its extremely satisfying
Question does Hawkes outfit for MoTA change depending on personality type? My Hawke is always in purple but I kina wanna see the dashing lad in red.
Bahahahaha, prepare to be drenched in screenies, soon, eventually I may have figured out how to do it off of Xbox, kinda, maybe. Alright, off to go torture my body some more.
