Lol, you keep getting ToP like that you're gonna run out of art. I don't mind though, you keep posting lovely pics I haven't seen before so...

Yah, I missed the ability to oneshot, the higher the difficulty the less powerful my Sheps felt, which is lame of me. Still I think with stasis and then lining up headshots even when I played on hard core if memory serves that still counts as insta-kill.

I was just thinking the other day that through all the ME3 multiplayer runs we have done, I have yet to play with You and April, and April at all since she defaulted back to DA so fast. lol. Something should be done about that, I know Sol hasn't been feeling well lately, back in the Hospital and whatnot, but he said he should be out in a few days, and that was a few days ago. My best friend recently started playing, so I think we could get her to play if Sol isn't up to it. Lol, it will be an all girl team. The gaming world will never believe it happened.

You won't believe this but we did a Bronze match to get her started, ease her in -Sol, Joey and I- we were destroyed, everytime. I don't know what happened! Lol, it was pretty sad.

I would be pretty excited if DA3 had some multiplayer. I dunno how they would integrate that, maybe like Fable where you could join peoples games and help them complete missions.

 

I'm up for it whenever!  I'll be doing the Operation at some point this weekend too
I have Thane on my BlackBerry   And they made all the levels harder, and nerfed a bunch of weapons. 

I'm curious on DA3 MP as well.  If it's good, then I'll be on board!  I really want to start another DA:O PT but I remember all of the missions/quests so well that I get bored

ok well let me just add something else here...
I found the ME difficulty from normal to Hardcore to be quite a jump but then the difficulty from hardcore to insane wasn't that bad. In DA - I find the normal difficulty to be quite challenging! I am nervous to try hard.

I hope to get my ME1 cheat sheet typed up, short staffed at work yesterday and today so I've been doing 3 people's jobs. now if only I could get 3 peoples pay... lol

I'd be willing to dust off my ME3 to play some MP with you ladies, although be warned so far I've only played bronze. I'll try to keep from yelling 'Go! Go! Go!". I'll be available all day, anytime on Sunday. Saturday is the last day I can spend with my bestie before she flies home to Oz.

I am against MP in DA though, I'm just so non-agreeable lately. haha I like to play games by my lonesome.

It's a date, I work till 3 on my Saturday, your Sunday I think, April. We'll rock some Bronze cause I haven't played in awhile and I am rusty, we can let Cosmo pull us through cause her N7 score is massive, much better then me. <_< 

I am actually considering getting someone to finish my four DA:O playthroughs for me, I just have Redcliff/Sacred Ashes left on Daylen, Still need to get out of Highever with Aedan. and Kallian is still in Ostagar. Tania is stuck in Lothering. It's all very Gah! Still, I need to push on through, get them all ready for awakenings then DA2... must be fully prepared for DA3.

So disagreeable April. Goodness.

Me: I want millions of Galleons for DA3!
April: I want a copper... just one, maybe less.

On one hand I think it would make me miss Fenris like crazy, on the other hand... I really love Gideons voice Acting,

Having played Final Fantasy XII (where Gideon Emery voiced the ever-awesome Balthier) in the past, getting into DA2 was actually rather odd for me, as I had to rewire my brain to associate the voice with Fenris. Especially since they're voiced in almost exactly the same way (just that Balthier is calmer and more suave).

But then that's a recurring problem, due to VAs being generally in short supply. I mean, when I realised who voiced Herren, it retrospectively made MGS, Jade Empire and Tales of Symphonia a lot funnier. And Naomi from MGS4 will now forever be known as Naomi Shepard to me. In reverse, I keep mistakenly referring to Kolyat as Raiden.

ok.. here is my simple little ME1 mission checklist. I did not list which planet the mission was on since I scan them all to get the resources, but I can go wiki and add that info if anyone wants it.

let me know if any questions. Anything spelled wrong is my fault and I will also blame the small TV I had at the time I made this.

I think I would be pretty upset, actually! It would be like suggesting Fenris wasn't important enough to claim "owndership" of that voice. That voice now in the DA2 universe IS Fenris.

Yeah, but Gideon Emery also voices other characters in DA2. They're minor ones, sure, but his timbre is recognisable enough.

Besides, it wouldn't be unprecedented. I mean, prior to DA2, Cullen and Anders were both voiced by Greg Ellis. And, if memory serves, the only reason they got Adam Howden for DA2 Anders is that Ellis didn't have enough time to voice two main characters. Although that doesn't make it any less confusing when talking to Cullen with Anders in the party...

Err...whatsisface? Samson, the ex-templar who crops up in Feynriel's questline and in Best Served Cold. That's the most prominent one.

Of the more minor characters, he also voices Harbourmaster Liam, Templar Recruit Paxley (the one with the '70s pornstache), and Temmerin Glavonak in Finding Nathaniel.

Lol, Ellis is all over the place too. I keep walking up to NPCs and going "ohai ex-Anders, fancy meeting you here". Sebastian's VA is also Seneschal Bran. I haven't spotted Hawke in DAO though...probably because I only have one M!Hawke. *goes to look him up*

OMG Speak to the knights at Redcliffe, there are a couple BroHawke's there lol Also the knight at Lothering, the one who is standing by the Chantry while the crazy man rants, he's him, too.

I didn't know all those people were voiced by GE O.O He changes his voice very well.

Edit: Just looked Hawke's VA up, and he voices Vaughan. My current Warden is a Tabris. Hisssss!

He is good, yeah. Problem is, he can't quite hide that raspy note he's got going on. That's how I always sniff 'im out. Just like Ellis' Northern accent always gives him away.

Is it Male Hawke who also voices the Helpful Villager in Lothering? If it isn't it sure sounds like him.

Why, oh why can't I remember Male Hawkes VA... Bah. Anyways, I just hate the thought of VA's losing out on work just because their characters are not recurring ones. More so for the DA2 VA's since the DLC for DA2 got cut short.Sad.

But I will totally feel better if the get Mark Frost! What?... I am loyal, but if I can't have one I want the other.

Hoho, why thank you, you salvaged the one line I actually liked XDD Good thing I didn't go with the tried old "emeralds". Though it would have been funny to hit all the clichés...

It's easier to tune out side characters most of the time (when not, it's The Samson Syndrome!), but a major one? No, I couldn't do it. Though I am a bit of a VO fanatic and notice everyone everywhere…

But the repeating voices in DAO drove me batty sometimes. Desmond Askew is everywhere! Jowan makes up 50% of Lothering’s population. And if you’re a flirty human, then you’ll have plenty of opportunity to talk to yourself. A mystical one less so, but still. Gideon's and Nicholas Boulton's presence was easier to swallow retrospectively, but I just notice NB's voice anywhere, since I love it. There's also the guy who voiced the Mad Hermit, Slim Couldry and some other minor dudes. Anyway, the point is, even if I love a voice, hearing it from everyone is disquieting at best and annoying at worst.

Gaider and his cohorts are tweeting about the insufficient amount of Carver/Merrill in the game and how upset they are that the expansion was cancelled. Apparently, these too are somehow related, but there are no other details on this. But it still makes me have a big sad. I love Carver with Merrill!

More seriously though, it is sad that the expansion got cancelled. I get a mild twang of frustration every time it's mentioned. I thought it could've been a good occasion to at least try to improve on some of DA2's shortcomings while still dealing with the same subject matter. And to wrap up Hawke's story. She/He may have been a completely ineffectual protagonist, but leaving things as they are just smacks of defeat. Alas!
