Aww, I really, really liked Sebastian's intro scene. He was so badass! Unfortunately it went downhill after that. A lot of missed potential with that character. :(

Second on it! It was such a good scene! I thought I found my LI. But then he start talking... Oh, Maker... No.

I can tolerate practically anyone (companion-wise) but he is the only one I passionately want out of my group. Explanation from BW about their vision of Sebastian (in Sebastian tread) helped a bit, still, he is not welcome.

My left on cold DR suddenly got a purpose! Thanks for idea :)
That is what forums are for - great ideas. I almost made my peace with Sebastian, Kaidan, and now this. Nice!

For the fellow Garrus-fan - anything! :) Picture comparing a fly and a yahg is left as a link only :)

Like the Dragon!Kitty definition! Btw, is it only me or there is some similarity between him and Fenris? The way they both moove, I mean. Probably just the same animation.

You ar just the best. Thank you for removing ze fly, (the yahg too since now I can totally see the similarities:mellow:)

One of my favorite scenes for watching Garrus move is his loyalty mission, the animation right before they get into the last room Harkin is in, I usually have Thane with me and it's hilarious:

*Shep stealths past like a boss*
*Thane moves stealthily like a master Assasin*
*Garrus sort of awkwardly chicken steps along behind them.*

I laugh every time I watch it. First 17 seconds of this video.

Dunno if that counts as the same as Fenris, maybe it's just awkward like his bunny hop/run thingy.

Nilf, yeah, I remembered it a few minutes after posting. No wonder I associated the name with a blond person.
Tabris, eh? Who ya romancin’? :B

Well, I'm still debating. I'm missing the achievement for feeding Alistair to the Archdemon, so that was my plan. Originally, I wanted to string him on for a while before switching to Zev (so I could get the "sanest thing I've ever done" dialogue, which I haven't seen yet). But now I'm not so sure I can be this heartless. Besides, I'm not sure a Tabris could romance a human after what happened to her. So I might just stick with Zev all the way through and then simply let Alistair take the hit without any emotional baggage.

"Sanest thing I've..." What? What is this? Certainly I haven't missed this dialogue?! Yay! I had no idea, my almost all male character roster almost made me miss that, Kallian was gonna have Ali executed and then feed Loghain to the Archdemon (she really, really hates humans, I am headcanoning that it wasn't the first time Vaughan was in the Alienage to take a couple females home, and that wasn't her first trip there, though it was Shiannis and it was the first time anyone has tried to rescue them.) She is gonna be my kinda insane kill everything character.

I am the sickest person in the whole world, last night I didn't sleep at all, I was too warm then too cold... no fever just uncomfortable. This morning has been a trial run for the next greatest hangover with headache/praying to the porcelian god. Didn't sleep till 7am up again at 10 am, still so nauseaus. Uhg.

Little advice - don't play shooters now. Or any game, actually. Shooters will make you sick faster while with other games you have a chance to get that nausea every time you play them :)
Sorry to hear about your flue :(

As fo Garrus and Fenris - no, not that move (though I enjoyed watching it)  :) Just in general - the way he walks, sits and so on. It IS the same animation for all humanoids I believe but still.

Jesus Christ that video made me laugh so hard

I never thought about it, but I guess he (Fenbear) does move rather awkwardly. And it can't be an elf thing. Look at how stealthily Tallis moves. Hate her or love her (and I'm in the former camp), she is a sweet mover. But that's a DLC so does it count?

Do the characters move stealthily and fluidly in DA2 in general? I dunno, but regardless, Fenris is the worst of the bunch lol

Doesn't feel like the flu, feels like morning sickness, to which I say: "No! Bad body, go sit in the corner."

Oh, I didn't think that move was Fenris-esque, just hilarious. :D

Man a new Fenris hate thread, it's been so long. I really just want to go into the old Fenris hate threads, quote stuff and move on it's always the same:

Haters: Fenris has no plot relevance!!
Fen fans: *sigh* Yah, he does.
Haters: Fenris is emo!
Fen fans: Not quite, the terms damaged and scarred are more fitting. It;s not like he is writing poetry and cutting himself. I mean do you think they teach slaves to write! And run the risk of being mistaken for a bloodmage with all that unnecessary bleeding. I don't think so.

This is not a Fenris-hate thread. These are several trolls spamming the forum with "No -[something]- in DA3" threads. Don't take it personally :)

Man, that picture!

Cosmo: *shrug* Who knows, my body hates me, I might just be having an "awkward sleep/nauseous all day" day. maybe coming down with something.

Oh, Maker ... that picture ... *nosebleed*

Question: what does ToP stand for? I feel silly for not knowing ... but the meaning still eludes me even after much lurking.

Good session on the game today. ^_^ Merrill teased Fenris about being in love with Hawke, and Anders asked him (with a HINT of jealousy ;)) what Hawke saw in him. Fenris's line "leaving was the hardest thing I've ever done" elicited a squee, or five. Let's see, what else ... we killed the Varterral. And a few dozen demons. Oh, and Isabela ran away with the Qunari's sacred book. :( Other than that, good times.

The 'hilarious title' thread I mentioned yesterday was, in fact, one called "Please, no characters" or somesuch - a parody thread, naturally. It wasn't so much the title that made me giggle as the timing/location of said thread on the DAIII boards, which were by then pretty much flooded with similar 'No characters like X in DAIII please'.

Hi, AbsoluteApril! Mmmm, cookies. Sten approves +10.

... never played the ending where the Warden refuses the DR and Alistair sacrifices himself. Not sure I could handle it. :'(

My boyfriend decided to stay home and keep me company all day, which on paper is sweet, in relaity it means is is hogging my TV and making my bed hotter then I like. :P

I want the new MP pack like whoa, (mosly cause my OCD doesn't allow much room for an incomplete game) but I can't justify buying it and then never playing enough to use it. Maybe when my DA re-obsession dies down. Or as soon as I can convince my bf that I don't want it... I need it to make ME3 worthwhile.:innocent:

Thanks, after this long it's getting really easy to argue for Fenris.<3

miss_rosie: It means Top of Page, I think, unless I have always translated that wrong. Just when you get Top of a Page try to post a Fen related Pic, if you can or have time... it isn't nessecary, just gives all the pages something pretty to look at and helps get recognition for the artists.

Cosmochyck, thank you for posting that one, I've seen it somewhere before and it's beauuuutiful. :D

Fleshdress - saw your post on the Fenris hate thread earlier. It was a wonderfully well-written response and I agreed with every point you made.

On an ME related note, my boyfriend (who is currently playing ME3) teases me about carrying out romances in Dragon Age. Like earlier I was telling him about how I enjoy swapping the characters about in the game to hear all their party banter. He chose to interpret that as me swapping the characters around so that my Hawke could sleep with each of them. :-p

So I told him he was just jealous because he hadn't found Miranda (his ME2 twu wuv) in ME3 yet. ;)

Fleshdress, hope you feel better soon.

*ME3 SPOILER. Sort of*
LOL, the first meeting with Miranda in ME3 is pretty early in game. Second time you go to the Citadel I think, to talk with the hospital patient. I hope for him he can keep her alive. So far she died in two of my three games. :(

I posted in the hate thread too. Two times even. Second post took way too much time to write, and it's useless anyway of course. Still, couldn't resist ranting in another thread than the Fenris thread itself.

Ren & Flesh, I enjoyed your posts in the hate thread. I had to post my little $0.02 as well, sometimes it's hard to resist.

edit to add - my "Ladykiller Shepard".. cause I am just SO creative with names... killed off all the ladies but I did something wrong in ME2 and Legion ended up kicking the bucket instead of Miranda. oops! (and yes, he romanced Ashely in ME1 then let her die and did the same to Jack in ME2, he was a b-stard)

I had Miranda die in ME2 just to see what would happen and she showed up in ME3... t'was a little creepy. If I could just have Legion, Garrus, Thane and Tali for squaddies I think I would have been just as pleased in ME3. I love romancing Kaidan and then leaving him on Virmire, then romancing Thane... Oh yes, that femshep chooses destroy every time. "If I can't have happiness, NO one can!!!!"

The Da3 thread has become a bit of a parody thread right now I believe. I may have to avoid it until we get some solid companion/story news cause otherwise it's all just I want/don't want ____ and personally I think biowatre trolls by taking notes and then doing the opposite.:P

I can see they already have a s/s romance thread thriving and if there is one thread that gets my blood pressure through the roof it's that one. Although, I agree that the majority of Bioware fans are okay I will also concede that we get some of the weirdest bloody gamers. If I have to get into it with another anti-gay jerk I swear... my head will explode.

oh weird! My very Anti-Cerberes Shep had only Jacob and Miranda die and she didn't show up in ME3, would be very creepy indeed if she had shown up!

I'm rather dissapointed in the DA3 forum.. there were some quite interesting and enjoyable threads going for a while, now it's just a bunch of crap. Some of it's funny crap... but still (I did contribute to that silly mustache thread but have bitten my tongue and twisted my fingers to keep my snark from the others). David Gaider (I think?) did say there wouldn't be any new DA3 info coming out until after the New Year so we've got a ways to go. (he also just locked that S/S thread thank goodness).

edit to clarify statements, cause I can

*snuggles lockdown post* TGP! May he reign forever.<3 Man one day I am gonna be really well worded and then I too shall shut down arguments like a boss. (It probably doesn't hinder him to be able to lock the thread right after, but still!)B)

Edit: Lol, I believe the only ones posting in the Fenris hate thread now are Fen fans... we may actually have found a new way to combat hate thread, turn them into new fan thread by sheer force of numbers. :P

miss_rosie, agh, girl you’re killing me! I miss the game so much… Welp, there’s always youtube. Hey, do you have any of the DLCs? ‘Cause Fen has some lines in those~

Yeah, I just found that thread XDD ‘Twas indeed hilarity. The only nice thing on the entire board…

Nilf, I used to be too chicken to come with a character who’d feed Alistair to the Archdemon, Loghain less so, but I never got around to it either. I just cheated and used the console to make all the achievements appear XDD I already had most of them anyway. I still don’t have the Templar achievements in DA2… Writing new things is cool, but games are only half-practice time. The other half is fun time and I can’t have fun supporting Templars.

That chuckle is worth all the things, I tell ya! The horrid flirt thing is the price you must pay.

Ha-ha, I guess chalking it up to Varric is a good way to deal with some of the more ridiculous things Hawke does. I just write the characters as being ridiculous from the word GO XDD Much more fun that way. Though I do imagine some of them actually using that line in the game
- Did you actually get your ass kicked by a bunch of thugs in Darktown like a little girl?
- No! Varric lied!

Fleshdress, that video! It took all my laughs XDD I always cracked up when that happened in-game and all by itself it’s even more hilarious. Ah, Garrus…

Hate threads… Ooh, mama, as an Anders-fan I can relate to being sick of those. Also, anti-ss threads, since they often like to go hand-in-hand. You guys did awesome though while I slept!
Also, DG is a god among men, shutting trolls and ignoramuses down like a boss.

I hope you’re feeling better now? Would you like some peppermint tea~?

April, Ladykill- I think I’ve read about him on some ME threads an eternity ago XDD Must’ve bumped into you. Man, that was hilarious. I’m too uptight to make evil/ridiculous playthorughs just for the catharsis (mostly because they make me depressed/annoyed and little else), but observing someone else’s escapades is load of fun XDD

DA3 board was never that great a place if you ask me. There were some hilarious-interesting threads for half second, but it was always chock full of whining and calling for a ban on this or that thing.

coldy, you live!. Yay, Castor avatar!

I actually prefer the sarcastic "I don't see that going very well for you." and he sort of laughs and says "Neither do I." Less D'aww but it feels less awkward to me.

I am feeling much better thank you, I'll pass on the tea, I hate tea, and coffee... cause under all this maturity and awesome I am still five and only like sugary things. lol.

I am guilty of startiing out as a Anders hater poster. When the game first came out. I don't quite remember why even, but now even though he isn't my fave character I can see the good in him. I can even let one of my broken hearted Hawkes rebound date him. lol

The s/s threads are the freaking worst though, as a bisexual female the subject is touchy enough that I probably shouldn't touch it with a ten-foot pole, and yet, I get soo mad I have to rant. Yah I try to just avoid it though. Bioware doesn't liten to that **** anyways so there is no worries about my fave games echoing their views.

Really not even Jacob for having the nerve to call Garrus a Cuttlebone? Yah he had to be punished in my Bi**h!Shep playthough, no one made fun of Garrus or made Garrus upset and lived. Plus on a long list of bad suggestions he makes "Send me into the vents" was probably just asking for death.

Fleshdress, you know, your Cousland reminds me of Jowan a bit. I think it's the hair and my obsession with the mage origin XDD

Yeah, I like that line too, my sarcastic Hawkes always take it, all both of them. But I already wrote Kas as Mr.Blunty McInappropriate so the train crash of the flirt actually fits more. What I really love about Fen is how he reacts to sarcastic Hawke's ludicrous behaviour. His buddy act with Kromis (MrMage McAndersmance) was great because Fen was one of the few people who actually joked back with him! A man with a good sense of humour and an amazing voice. That guy is the full package.

Hehe, no worries, I don't actually like tea or coffee either, I just love peppermint. Hey, I have a giant bottle of sprite next to me right now~! How 'bout some of that? XDD And glad to hear you're feeling better. I'm actually not great today. Serves me right for eating strange food scrapped off of the back of the fridge...

The important thing is that you got over your hate-posting ways! The ones the actually boil my borsht are the pricks that come into a fan thread, drop a hateful comment and disappear. It's like living a burning bag of **** on someone's doorstep!

Agh, sing it, sister. The SS-threads give me high blood pressure, but I never feel like opening dialogue, I just feel like I PUNCH YOU. Just like you, I get enough of the "dialogue" in real life as it is.
Say what you want about Bioware's recent behaviour, but their stance on this particular issue has always been the best, I'm glad I don't have to worry about them bowing to the festering pustules of humanity that have an aneurism each time a person of the same sex looks at them funny.

Well, for one, I never got that dialogue XDD I'm aware of its existence, but never went the route to get it. And even then, why kill him? That's the point that I was trying to make, for most people its just some funny silly thing to do in a game and I understand it, but don't have the ability to partake in it. Characters dying upsets me no matter their choice of words that one time. I take this stuff too seriously to be able to unwind. If I'm in the mood for cathartic killingz and being a rude **** for the giggles I'll pop in a game that promises such, not a story-drive RPG.
