As for Fenris, maybe it's just me, but blue eyes look a little odd on him. I'm a sucker for green eyes, so his default ones were perfect.

That said, that first puppy-eyes pic is so "d'aww".

Good find! Thanks for sharing! I'm able to get (some of) the DA2 stuff to install but not the DA:O stuff, but it's still cool. 

Edit: Actually, none of it is showing up in game or as "unlocked." Maybe that will happen after the official announcement. That's how it worked out with some of the other stuff, IIRC. I'm not complaining! Free stuff is free.

Yeah, apparently, the problem was us jumping the gun. They hadn't planned on going live with it quite yet, but after it got leaked, they set it up so you could actually download stuff. The DA2 stuff is pretty much on par with the other starter gear you get, but the DA:O stuff is sweet!

I haven't tried the DA2 stuff, but the DAO stuff does include some interesting pieces. In particular, DAO seems to lack worthwhile rings to cover the entire party, so it definitely helps in that department. And if you don't use it, you can always sell it for moola. 'Course it probably won't be the shopper's dream that is the Reaper's Cudgel (131g! and I never use maces!), but it's still funds.

Looking at it, the DA2 stuff doesn't appear to cover the main area in which I found DA2 items lacking: rogue armour, namely light helmets and gloves.

As for the DA2 goodies. Since I don't have any of the weapon/armor packs on my PC version of DA2, the goodies are actually kind of fun, and at least useful in Act 1. Some of the weapons will even level with you. That damn blade though (the "razor" one) still looks a tad silly to me. I actually strapped it to my Harley Hawke's back, and the poor gal looks like she should be tipping over. It's not just the size; the bloody blade looks very "weighty". LOL It fits a bit better on Fenris (go figure considering he often makes me think a strong breeze could carry him off....wheeeeeee!)

Word. Considering how DA2 made all elves radically slimmer, making Fenris the first elf to use 2-handed weapons forces the suspension of disbelief even further. No wonder the poor guy is constantly slouching, just look at what he has to lug around on his back all day!

I just wanted to say hello to the group, I hope everyone is well! I've been avoiding these forums recently, don't want DA3 spoilers but I still hold the Fen Group in a special place in my heart... that Fen ripped out and holds in his glowing fingers.

New Fenris fan here,Hello everybody! ^^

I have to say I love and adore those christmas pics with fenris,so adorable! ♥

Has anybody seen the part in DA2 where you go to that fish warehouse and Fenris says "Fish ,fish and more fish.Plaugh! Let's look for those crates." LOL I just saw that the other day and busted out laughing,anyhow I hope we will get to see him in DA3 I know if he is in it,it will be a small part but it would be nice to see him again.

Hey Rox....always good to see new blood in the Fen-Thread. What is it about those broody types with dark pasts, eh? (K, Thane isn't actually broody, but he has the "past" thing...LOL)

Poor Fenris; I imagine all of my Hawkes loving fish and seafood in general....so DEAL WITH IT, Fenris m'boy!

(it should be noted that I believe his disgust for fish comes from the likes of "slave foods" made of fish...cheap and plentiful.....of course, just my thoughts/opinions.)
