Ok, now I feel the need to buy the Witcher (or Witcher 2....I dunno). Or maybe I should just finish my 3 current play throughs with "Fenris minded" Hawkes, that I have waiting to be completed. XD

Iorveth is in Witcher 2.;) But I really recommend both games. Witcher 1 was 10 euros for me on steam, so it's not expensive to give it a try.

My psychic powers tell me this will be the first post on a new page.:wizard:

That means time for a steamy Fenris pic!

I have to say I have been reading through this thread (finally) and love all the little insights into DA lore and LIs <3

I have almost zero to contribute, but it has totally fueled conversations between myself and my BFF as far as the Fenris/Anders fangirl battle. Can you guess what side I'm on?

Welcome to the (again pretty silent:unsure:) Fenris thread!
Well... considering you're posting this here, I'm gonna guess you're on "our" side, haha.:D Good luck with your fangirl battles. Let Fenris kick Anders' magical ass.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm actually a fan of both, but I've romanced Fenris every playthrough since my second.

I just...I can't get over what Anders did to my poor widdle heart, especially since I jumped right into DA2 from Awakening.

I can understand that. I actually had the same with Alistair in DAO. Never have quite forgiven him for that post-Landsmeet conversation... ;)

I only ever made it through one Origins playthrough, but I am getting ready to start another one in which I'll romance Zevran. (He pissed me off my first playthrough, but he's grown on me since then.)

Human men are heart-breakers. They're all "Ooh, I love you! I want to spend the rest of my life with you!" until their warped sense of duty calls (Alistair and Anders), then they drop you like a sack of bricks.

Elven men are harder to win (Zevran and Fenris), but they're all yours once you've got them. ^_^

That's . . . kinda harsh. On Alistair I mean. Insult Anders all you want. At least Alistair didn't committ a terrorist attack. You have to remember that it was you who pushed Alistair into the position of leadership - a position he didn't even want in the first place. One aspect of his character is that he is very duty bound, and would adhere to his duty as a King. Ie, siring the heir to Ferelden. As a Grey Warden, having children is highly unlikely, and he's right, you can't rest the future of a kingdom on "maybes". As sad as it is, he is right.

Buuuut, if you want to avoid all that drama, put Anora on the throne. She seems more cut out for it anyway.

Hey! This is the Fenris thread! I need to add some Fenris goodness.

Alistair is a sweetheart, and I certainly don't think his "betrayal" equals that of Anders. But... he did break my heart. xD

There is nothing magical about that man's ass. He looks like a badly wrapped Christmas present. It's the Scottish pattern I am referring to in case it is too ambiguous. Ren you fiesty tonight.

Teaching Fenris to read was a wonderful touch to the game. I went  'awwwwwwww' the first time Hawke handed him the book and offered to teach him, and then again when you click on the bookcase in the estate and Hawke says that his reading has improved. It's just sweet, and for me, it was very meaningful. Definitely more meaningul than hunting down dragon crap for Anders.

Awakening Anders is kind of cute. I was so fan girling over Alistair that I couldn't flirt with anyone else at first. Zevran has really grown on me. It's a maturity thing and loyalty. Fae's observation really does apply to DA men. The elves are hard work but they have the best romances. That final kiss with Fenris.... *swoons*

I have no idea if elves sweat. o_O Honestly, a hot sweaty Fenris is a nice thought especially if he's naked. He could be naked and covered in thistles and it would still be a turn on. My husband is used to the elf pictures. They are tasteful (I have a child that is seven after all) but they are everywhere. Tolkien elves, a Fenris mug I created, etc... Does this make me weird ;)

Aldy, that ain't no dragon shyte you be collecting...that be human/dwarf/elf shyte...AND p1ss.Posted Image Ain't love grand!Posted ImagePosted Image

I too have a soft spot for the elven men, though I don't find anything wrong with the "cheese man".  He was my first DAO LI, after all.Posted Image  Teaching Fenris to read is quite the sweet gesture, and I soooo would have him read some of Varric's work.  Watch him get all pissy, when he got to steamy FriendFic bits.  HA!

As for your your question Aldy....yes.  But we still love ya!Posted ImagePosted Image

BTW!!  Welcome, @ReddInTheCities!  Complimentary Fenris mug (provided by Aldy), and smut from Ren for first time posters.  I usually just offer booze........Enjoy!Posted Image

Literally laughed out loud at that. You so silly girl!

And I you my friend. mmmm soon I shall have the ability to have endless rootbeer floats and tacos and blue cheese and Cap'n Crunch...I may actually explode!

Thanks Coldi! Maybe I should commission a Fenris to go with my Thane....which sounds really weird, but you know what I mean.

edit: just realised...Aging? Who is aging? I'm...um, crap, I'm aging. I take solace in knowing that you are the older one. LOL <3

 Oh, Aldy. Thanks, now I won't have straight face for the next few hours. And the "magical" did not refer to the quality of the ass. Anders = mage, mage = magical. Yes? No?=]

I have abused my bookcase and have never gotten that line.<_< Maybe because I tried it with a rivalry romance, but then Fenris declines the offer to be taught how to read. Stubborn elf.

*no straight face for the rest of the day*  Now I'm curious about the Fenris mug. How tasteful is that one?:P
Don't worry, we already knew you were "special".:innocent: So is everybody else here, haha.

You know, I kinda wish they had show some small scenes of Fenris' reading lessons. Not overly long, fluffy ones. But small snippets.

@MissRedZelda;
Yes that would be much needed, but that final kiss makes up for it.

Oh I was on youtube and found this, check out Fenris's assassin moves lol!

I agree, it's sort of a puzzle were one piece is missing. That how I felt anyway but just a bit.

@mnomaha - I think it is a MUST to do a new Fenris commission to go along with your Thane commissions.

After seeing the new Elfkin commissioned comic that @Ren was so kind to post, I kind of want the same thing done for my Castor + Fenris. I may relate more to some of my female Hawkes (hello Ulee, Mace, and Zyla), but I think Castor was the most fun to play (Direct/Aggro + Diplo, actually works REALLY well.....just a hint of snarky when the moods/lines seem in character :D). He is also quite steamy! *wolf-whistle* Throw in that dreamy elf and stir. :D :D :D

 Thanks for the welcome! :D

Feast your eyes upon this gem I stumbled upon on dA today (linked for sexiness). It's by an artist called magicdrusilla.

My friend linked it to me this morning. WOW was it one hell of a way to wake up!
