I heard rumors of the Warden and Hawke along with their LIs making a cameo, but they are just rumors that I know of. If not, you better believe I'm modding them into the game. I refuse to play it without Fenris somewhere in there. The only reason he wasn't put in DAO is because I like to pretend he is hiding from Danarius in that templar armor when you first get to Lothering.

On those first two play throughs; first PC romanced (very badly, by the way...lol) Alistair, and second PC romanced Alistair first, got dumped by him, then got her "elf" on with Zev. I honestly missed a ton of things those first two play throughs, BUT I still made it work rp-wise....which was kinda nice. *big grin*
As for what comes up in DA:I, I hope that they do justice for both the warden and Hawke romances (no buggy Zev, dammit!!), if that rumor has any merit. AND, I hope Fen and Zev look more like "themselves", if they do show up in the next game. I can get past less than perfect graphics on characters, but I would love if they were done well.

Coldy, I don't know what I am talking about either. You'll see moosey soon enough. You should fear!
Okay... question: Did Isolde cut off Eamon's balls? It's easy to blame her... hell she is a byatch. But Eamon can call a Landsmeet, goad Loghain, but he can't run his own home? Surely, he always had the last say in the matter. I always felt like Alistair was an inconvenience but like Sebastian said: 'The heir and a spare.' I think that is how Eamon saw him. You can't just throw a potential heir away, but you can have him live on the fringes of abuse and make him believe he was fortunate to not have ended up in an orphanage. That was probably Isolde's doing, but Eamon is also responsible. *shrugs* I just don't like Eamon. He's hard to define and altogether wriggly.
I hope if Fenris is in DA3 that he looks like Fenris. *scared*

Anders seems overly happy....
Wouldn't say he is made from scratch, but a lot of editing other people's mods and throwing new stuff in went into play. The Ethereal Elven mod helped the most or his face would look all deformed. Oh if they do mess him up in DA3, it will be like with Zevran in DA2. People will ROAR to Bioware about how awful he looks, cry themselves to sleep, and then someone will swoop in and fix it for the rest of us. Swooping isn't always bad

Well, there's at least one mention in the game that Eamon loved Isolde very much. It's possible that she got her way with him rather easily because of that. That said, the medallion episode also makes me think that he did care for Alistair to some extent, even if he made him sleep in the barn to placate his "lovely" piece of Orlesian tail

That and bugged romance status are my two major fears as well. *looks at Zevran and shakes her head disconsolately*

Nice shots and Fenris never approves lol. I think in everyone's first playthrough, they learned he dissaproves everything you say or do. That beautiful pain in the arse
@renjility;
True, but considering DAO elves look nothing like DA2 elves, it is difficult to do, especially with no creation kit and limited slider options for elves. I tried myself, but could get him no better than the others. My hope is that they either keep the DA2 appearance, since most of us are used to it now, or go back to the DAO version. What I fear most is that they concoct another new form of elf so neither Fenris or Zevran can look like themselves. Maybe if there is better graphics, they actually make them look better than their predecessors. It would be amazing for it to have the Witcher's level of graphic quality or something.

Is anyone else's mouth hanging open or is it just me? Wow... I mean wow. How did you do that???? They look better than their DA2 counterparts. I love Fenris's swooshy hair. It's as unruly as he can be
Coldy, I was soooo laughing at the dragon shot and then Fenris's face. Is Castor pretty but dumb? I love his clothes. Where'd you get them? And what have you been smoking?
I had Fenris news. I need to go find it again....

I suspected that there was not much that could be done to save Zevran, that's what I meant, because you said that for DA3 it would be the same as DA2, that someone will fix the horror, but it hasn't been fixed in DA2 (ehm... pardon that terrible sentence), so that doesn't make me very hopeful. Combined with the fact that Bioware's stance on another toolset seems to lean to "too much work", I don't think DA3 will be more moddable than DA2.
Heh, yeah, I think many people got slapped by Fenris with rivalry points on their first playthrough. Like many others I went for friendship on my first try, and quickly I was torn between my mage heart and Fenris' strong opinion.

LOL those are hilarious! Now we know the real reason Fenris hated that troll Hadriana so much
I always liked when you rescue Feynriel and Fenris calls the slaver a 'little man" or Hawke's "this is close as I get" and impressive dagger throw followed by "I'm never wrong" or something like that. Haven't played that part in so long.

I'm probably an awful person and Fenris would hate me for it, but I totally laughed at Hadriana's joke.
And yes, rogue Hawke's dagger throw is pretty cool in that scene. I can't recall having heard Fenris say "little man" though. Is that when you talk the slaver into freeing Feynriel? I have never tried that. Only let Varric smooth talk him or bluntly attack.

Ren said: I admit I lol'ed at the dragon flying past at high speed in the beginning. It reminds me of the famous Skyrim bug of wonky gravity, with a horse flying by as a result (I've also seen a flying deer, which conveniently fell to its death afterwards so that I could loot it, and once I freed a Stormcloak prisoner and he ran away, launched himself vertically, then dropped back down and died too).smilie
ROFL! I've never had the privilege of seeing the floating animals or the vertically determined suicide.

@aldy - Castor is very pretty, but actually one of my smartest Hawkes (well....as smart as anyone can RP Hawke...lol). He is Aggro/Direct - Diplo. The few times he is snarky, is with Varric and Isabella (they manage to "pull" that out of him). He has been, I admit, the best rp'ed Hawke I have ever made. Go figure. And he is in a "Friendmance" with Fenris. As strange as it may seem, he only rivaled two people; his brother and Merrill. I am just finishing his run, and yes - he will be stabbing blondie. He also refused to help Anders' distract the Grand Cleric. He was relatively supportive of Anders (though he never agreed with the Justice merge), but by the third act, Castor sees that something isn't right. Anders is a danger.
@Ren - It's been discussed to death, but I do still find it interesting how people come to decide whether to Friend or Rival Fenris. I have done both, but I do prefer the Friendmance. It really is as simple as "it fit with the Hawkes in question". That is why my Rivalmance with Fen (with my Tyrel Hawke) seemed to work so well. It really did suit his character. Castor is a mage, so yes, tension was bound to be there. But personality-wise, these two are simpatico. And they know it. So a friendmance made the most sense. Fen did take longer to Friend, this play through, but it worked well for this character and their relationship.
So a few questions then for the posters here (and lurkers are welcome and encouraged to come out and "play"

As for Rivalmance. If I rp a particular type of character (which as I stated before, I did with my Tyrel Hawke), then the Rivalmance does seem to work well. However, it should be noted that the "after" story of Tyrel Hawke and Fenris, they didn't manage to stay together. Neither regretted their relationship, but the "rivalry" was enough to eventually part them. Both followed different paths, but neither was "unhappy". Just....not together.
Some of the dialogue options for the Rivalmance are actually quite surprising, so I can see how it is enjoyed by others. I replayed a few scenes a while back, of my Tyrel/Fenris romance, and I tried a few new dialogue options. I don't remember what they were now, but I remember thinking that these lines were actually pretty good. But, it still made the difference with the character I role played. At some point, I will check those lines out again, and post them. Could lead to some interesting discussion.
**EDIT**
Shell, I almost missed your little "aside" there....dirty-birdy.

Generally friend him in non-romance as well. He is broody enough as it is
I can understand the whole rp of a certain kind of character, if you are playing say a mean, aggressive Hawke verses a nice, diplomatic one, the rivalmance is best in personal option. That is the beauty of rpgs, you can make the PC be whoever you want them to be. Most of us just usually go paragon with it.

Well! @Ren may have a better list than I, on who does commissions for Fenris x Hawke, but I think I could come up with a few. I still am interested in having a comic panel done for Fenris x Castor. Could be fun...and 'saucy'.
