Pills and nunchucks aside, do you think Fenris would have a pet of some sort? One that doesn't take too much cuddling....like a fishie?

Lol. Hawks and bird flu and what-not.
F:I have something to tell you Lady Hawke.
LH: What is it my love?
F: I'm carrying bird flu...
LH: ._. .... SONOFA
Considering it first showed in the 1980s, if Hawke caught something from Fen I doubt it would be bird flu. I'm just going to stop there...
Also, good point on the Fenris being owned thing. I didn't even think of that.

I'm not so sure that Fenris would have a pet. He spent time being "owned" himself, he may not want to do the same to another living creature.
I wish Ser Gaider, The Great Poobah, Mr. Wiggums, etc. would pop in here and give us a tidbit to speculate about. Alas, t'will not happen...at least, not when I'm around. Just to spite me.

Time: Late afternoon
Scenario: The team just encountered a foolish group of bandits. They set up camp shortly after killing them.
((Feel free to read this in whatever Fenris voice you think he'd sound best with
Hawke: That was fun. Only downside is that I'm covered in blood... *Irritable grumble*
Varric: You look like a tomato! I got out of that scrap unscathed.
Fenris: *Slightly agitated* ...I'll be at the pond...
Varric and Hawke exchange confused glances.
Hawke would then change into something more presentable and head over to where the brooding Fenris sat at the water's shimmering edge.
Fenris: *Sigh* Go away, please...?
Hawke: Ehrm, no?
Fenris: I said please?
Hawke rolled her eyes, smirking.
Hawke: You're always so broody and irritated, Fenny.
She used her nickname for him, simply because it made him cringe.
Fenris: Well, maybe if you didn't give me something to be "broody and irritated" at I would be alot happier!
Hawke: Mrrow! Someone got their Elven panties in a twist, eh? Seriously, I just wanted to talk to you.
Fenris: I don't want to talk. So, if you will, go away.
Hawke: Please...This mopey attitude you have won't help anyone. I know you've seen some horrific things in your past but I didn't cause them.
Fenris: Then I'm sorry for not hugging everyone I bloody see.
Hawke neared the defensive Elf, placing a gloved hand gently on his shoulder.
Fenris tensed, inwardly fearing he would get a beating for stepping out of line.
Hawke: I genuinely want to help you...I do. But I can't do a single bloody thing unless you let me.
Fenris: I just..Sorry...I vaguely remember anything about compassion, or friendship. Let alone love.
Hawke looked surprised. She steadied herself, and smiled.
Hawke: Well...I could teach you! Let's start by..Hm..How about skipping stones?
Fenris: Skipping stones? That's possible? Does it hurt?
Hawke chuckled at his bewilderment.
Hawke: No, it's a fun thing that can be done with friends. You just pick up a stone..And toss it across the water. Simple as that!
Fenris' eyebrows knitted together with slight confusion. He picked up a stone, hurling it across the pond. It smacked into a tree across the water and bounced back into the pond with a splash.
Hawke: *Smiling* Like this...
She took another stone, placing it in the Elf's hand. Hawke held his hand, guiding it to toss the stone into the water.
Hawke: Congrats, that's three skips!
Fenris: Yay?
The two continued to skip stones, laughing and genuinely having fun.
OKAY! How was that?

On the topic of Fenris' age
-To our knowlege (DAO codex) Tevinter Magisters haven't officially existed since before the rise of the Darkspawn. This either means a) Magisters now operate as a secret society dedicated to the advancement of the arcane arts outside of the Circle, orFenris is really old.
- "Magister" could just be Tevinter slang for Mage (the place was run by mages for a few thousand years before the darkspawn were createrd)
-The Magister him/herself is really old.
On the topic of VA's
-I'd wager that the VA is one of the actors in Bioware's personal stable of VA's
- We'd most likely would know them from other RPG's
- I really hope its not Mark Meer
On the subject of Fenris' drink of choice:
Varric: (surprised) By the stone elf, that's a very fine wine you have there.
Fenris: (Shows a rare, genuine smile as he stares at the bottle) It is indeed dwarf, this was the first thing I drank after I fled from my old master. I remember stowing away on a cargo ship that was en route to the town of Gwaren on the coast of Ferelden, one day I cracked open a crate that was filled with bottles of this wine. It tastes as sweet today as it did all of those years ago. To me this is no mere wine, it is as good as freedom in a bottle.
Varric: I'm sure it is, that's not a cheap vintage my friend where did you get it?
Fenris: Would you believe Isabela?
Varric: I'd thought you wern't on speaking terms after the whole "If you hurt them I'll kill you" thing
Fenris: I thought so too, but she handed this to me after we got back from the Deep Roads. For what reason I haven't a clue.
Varric: Well it might have been for the fact that you saved his life. Those hurlocks would have torn him to pieces if you hadn't torn them apart yourself. Despite what you may think of her, Isabela truly cares for him. If the stories I've heard from her old crew are any indication he's the first man she's ever treated like that
Fenris: (confused) Well what should I say to her?
Varric: Well let's try "I'm sorry", now I know that to you being "Ser Sit-In-The-Corner" means never having to say your sorry but it'll help. She's trying to prove to you and to Carver that she's not just out for a one night stand, giving her an apology would go a long way to making her feel a little more at home in out merry little band.
Fenris: Might I ask how you know all this?
Varric: Elf, when you have sat in taverns as long as I have, and have heard the tales of countless drunks and barmaids, along with the sage council of the local barkeeps you tend to have a guess on how women work. Now off you go, you have a pirate queen to go talk to!
(Fenris takes his bottle of wine and goes off in search of Isabela)

Bethany: Fenris, a moment please.
Fenris looking confused follows: Something you need?
Bethany: Yes, it's about my sister.
Fenris: Oh really.
Bethany: Yes really. I don't disapprove, you've been with us for years and I trust you, but still family matters and if you hurt her -
Fenris: I won't.
Bethany: Good, but just in case I'll remind you I'm very good at fire spells.
Fenris blanches and then bristles, preparing to walk away
Bethany: And Fenris, if she ever hurts you (wry smile) I'm good at ice spells too.
Fenris frowns, confused, before offering a tiny smile and walking away.

Setting: Camp
Time: Late Nighttime (Around midnight)
Scenario: After a long day of travel and fighting, the team gets some time to relax
Hawke: Bah, I'm exausted from all the cursed fighting.
Fenris: I'm exausted from hearing Varric lament all his one night stands where the woman ended up robbing him blind...
Varric: Shut it, shiny elf boy.
Fenris tensed, glaring colding at the Dwarf. He reached tentatively for his sword.
Hawke's eyes widened.
Hawke: Hey, that's enough of that, both of you!
Fenris, now gripping the blade so tightly his knuckles whitened, quickly released his grip and looked at the ground.
Fenris: *In a shakey voice* S-Sorry, Hawke...
Hawke: The last thing we need here in fighting. Varric, mind going elsewhere?
Varric: Fine!
Fenris looked a little more relaxed in the presence of Hawke, and only Hawke.
Fenris: Sorry, Hawke, really.
Hawke bit her lip.
Hawke: No need to apologize twice, Fen. Varric can be a little...Abrasive at times. Don't let him get to you.
Fenris: *Muffled tone* I love you...
Hawke: What? Sorry, I didn't hear you.
Fenris was truely confused. He didn't know what to feel. Was this normal? Should he be concerned? No, of course not... This was not a normal feeling to have for your leader.
Hawke: *A hint of desperation and curiousity* Tell meeee!
Fenris: You wouldn't understand, even if I did.
Hawke: Please? *She looked into his enchanting green eyes with the sweetest, innocent puppy-dog look possible*
Fenris thought to himself, 'Why does she do that? Bloody siren will be the end of me, I swear...'
Fenris continued to stair at the ground.
Fenris: I said...I l-love you?
Hawke went wide-eyed, twiddling her thumbs nervously. "Uhh..."
Fenris: *Crestfallen* Forget it...
The tattoed elf got up, sulking to the pond and leaving a shocked Hawke standing aghast by the campfire.

Nah, most people here are probably just glad I didn't go into my usual pro-Mark Meer spiel.
He's not gonna voice Fenris because his accent is "Canadian," and I'm pretty sure David Gaider said something about how Jennifer Hale wasn't really an option for companions in Dragon Age because of her role as FemShep. He probably voices some villains, monsters, side characters and such like he did in DAO and DAA.

LOL. I have to admit to having read one of those spiels before....
I just looked on IMDb and found out that, among other minor characters, he voiced the Pearl Dwarf Male Companion. Why that made me laugh so hard, I do not know.

Damn, a full page, nearly two? You people really pump it out.
Dialogue time! :
(In camp or home. Mage!Hawkette is trying to heal a injured Fenris. Has been some time into the story-- they're sort of at a awkward stage where they can't figure out how they feel for one another.)
Fenris: (Frustrated) Leave me be, Hawke! Have you not grown ill of pestering me?
Hawke: (Slightly upset) You're bleeding... I am just trying to-.
Fenris: (Angry) I don't give a damn! I can take care of myself. Why can't you just leave me alone?
Hawke: (Trying to be strong) Fine! Bleed out! I don't care anymore! (Voice cracks) Why do you hate me so much, no matter how hard I try to be kind to you? What did I do?
Fenris: Nothing. (Muttering) But be what you are.
Hawke: What?
Fenris: You heard me. You being what you are.
Hawke: So you still hold a grudge against me for something I didn't want? Something I didn't choose?
Fenris: No. It's for being everything opposite of what I thought your kind was.
(Hawke is taken aback. It takes her a few moments to gather her words.)
Hawke: What is that supposed to mean?
Fenris: You're kind. You treat me like I'm a equal. You care what happens to me. You're the be- nevermind. Just... heal me.
Hawke: (Begins to heal him) Thank you.
(She finishes healing him and leaves. Fenris stares at her for several seconds before shaking his head and looking at the ground.)
