I'm not a drinker. Even in moderation.

I´ve been thinking about Fenris´ VA, and I could be totally wrong about this but... Swedish actor Peter Stormare played Uli Kunkel in The Big Lebowski, Dr. Gregor Zelinsky in Command & Conquer and is known because of his talent for doing accents. Interesting....

No thank-you for Anders on my side. Not including, I don't see Fenris allowing that. He doesn't look like the type to share his Hawkette.

He looks as much the type as any other guy.

Companions get their own 'bases' where you visit them for conversation. One of the nice aspects about living in a city instead of spending one's days traveling.

I hope they will not make men wear the diaper-thongs they had in Origins, and then flash them in weird humping scenes. I wonder what colour his undergarments would be...

Ooh, I've just been thinking about the different kinds of interaction your surviving family might have with your love interest.

Hawke: Mom. Remember how I told you about meeting someone?
Ma Hawke: It was yesterday, dear. My mind hasn't withered to a barren husk yet.
Hawke: Ah - right. Well, this is Fenris. *fenris enters* Fenris, met my mother.
Ma Hawke: And this is... the servant of the guy you met?
Hawke: No. It's the guy.
Ma Hawke: I'm going to need a drink. I thought you'd hit rock bottom with that Rivaini hooker you had here yesterday.
Hawke: I'm not dating that Rivaini hoo- Isabela. We're friends.
Ma Hawke: If you have a thing for non-humans, why not the dwarf? He was a merchant prince. What do you do, boy?
Fenris: I'm an escaped slaved from Tevinter. I'm quite skilled with the blade. I've only recently come here but I've spent my time acting as a liaison between the Dalish and the officials of Kirkwall.
Ma Hawke: So, you don't have a job?
Fenris: I guess... No, not as such.
Ma Hawke: Oh, my baby, what did I do wrong? I'm only glad your father is dead, otherwise this would have killed him!

That's actually something I didn't think about Fenris, where do you think he'd be located in Kirkwall?

In a little cardboard box outside the local tavern.

Varric occasionally comes out of said tavern giving him table scraps?

I sang "Bring Me To Life" on Rock Band today in my best German Nihilist voice.

It sounded nothing like Fenris.

So he's not voiced by Peter Stormare
?

Or Peter Stormare used his Swedish accent (which would fit the name Fenris perfectly)

... or his trademark Russian accent.

That's because it was Varric fan mocking our lovely Tevinter elf.
I posted it only because it was quite funny. Of course Fenris isn't that shallow....to me anyway.

*Snip*

I now have a totally different image of Ma Hawke in my mind. I like.

Okay, catching up on this thread... on the subject of voice actors, please no South African ones D: And if it is South African, at least let it be an English South African accent and not the Afrikaans one some people seem so fond of after District 9?  I don't want to cringe my way through Fen's dialogue the way I did in Kasumi's Loyalty mission. :pinched:

*ahem* Anyway. I think a weekly writing/drawing prompt thing is an excellent idea. ^_^ Though I actually prefer the way the Varric thread does it, with people just contributing whatever they made that week on a certain day. (At least that's how I think it works). I think more people would be encouraged to join in that way.

But however it works, I know I'll contribute. My short-story writing skills need to be worked on anyway; everything I write has the tendency to turn into a novel. What better way to brush them up than with our favourite glowy elf?

I am not a Varric-romance fan either (even though i think he will be one funny guy) but i think it's shallow to say that his fangrils love him only because of his chest hair. And we never made a comic mocking him, so them making one is not really nice. This is just my point of view.

As for Fenris staying with Carver :happy:That would be an awesome idea!

*Hawke comes in their room*
Hawke: Carver, out!
Carver: Don't tell me you wanna woo the elf again...
Hawke: 50 silvers
Carver: 70
Hawke: 60 and GO!
Carver: Deal.

And i sooo agree with the art day. <3

I don't think it was to make fun of anyone. It was just for general fun. For the lulz. As for not making a comic mocking Varric? ahem.

And before anyone says anything, I know that wasn't making fun of anyone, either. Again, it's just supposed to be funny. It still supports the point, though.

You heard it from me first, folks. Robbie Rotten for Fenris' VA. He sings a song about Isabela, and I'm sure if Fenris had a dog, this would be his general attitude. Only, y'know, annoying magisters instead of brats.

Call me picky, but chest hair is a no go for me, pixel or real, so I perceive all the comics dealing with Varric's hair as highly sarcastic. I have this hairy friend who I often go jogging with and I always tease him why he joggs in mohair :D I can imagine my fem Hawke saying something like that to Varric :D

Good thing elves are not big on body hair, whew.

I might have misunderstood the comic :innocent:Anyway it's good to go by the phrase "If you don't have anything good to say bout it, shut up" :lol:Maybe that's why nobody said anything about it and ignored it.

I don't think they are sarcastic...maybe some girls enjoy it, but i am sure his personality is what gets the fangirls (he seems really funny):)

Chest hair is a no go for me too.

@Anku Just my personal bias, is all. I have no doubt that there are girls who don't mind hair, or even have a fetish for it/consider it manly etc..

@drahelvete Whatever you feel comfortable in, you know? Imagine a girl with dark hairy legs in shorts, horror. That is pretty much how I feel about men chest hair.
