That's actually something I didn't think about Fenris, where do you think he'd be located in Kirkwall?

It has been two years since Hawke and her family fled to Kirkwall. Hawke is walking the streets near the city's  docks exploring her newfound home
When suddenly she notices a white haired elf who is being chased by a group of Antivan bounty hunters

Bounty Hunter:
(yelling out) You can run elf, but your master is a persistent man. (muttering to himself) Where did that sodding knife ear go?

(Fenris dives out from behind a stack of crates and forces the Bounty Hunter's to his chest, causing the man to stab himself with his own dagger)

Fenris: (smirking) I'm right here you big, ugly bastard. (looks up to see that he's surounded by the bounty hunter's compatriots)

Hunter #2:
Well now that you've decided to grace us with your presence, I suggest that you come quietly. You friend in Tevinter paid us quite a hefty sum for your return. I don't see what's so important about some stupid elf, but for that much money I don't really care.

Fenris: Then I guess my Master neglected to tell you what I am.

(Fenris kicks the sword out of the lead bounty hunter's hand, grabbing it in mid air. The elf then starts to fend off the bounty hunters in an impressive display of swordplay. The skirmish draws the attention of Hawke, who is out exploring the city.)

Fenris: (to the Hunter) I have a message for my Master.

Hunter #2: (Parrting one of Fenris' strikes) And what would that be elf?

Fenris:
Leave me be or perish. (kicks the feet out from under the Hunter)

(As Fenris prepares to deliver the final blow to the Hunter one of the man's seemingly dead allies stands by up and prepares to stab Fenris in the back with a dagger only to be struck down by a blast of lightning from Hawke's staff)

Fenris:
(kills the Hunter and turns to face Hawke; sword drawn) Well played, mage it suits your kind to take advantage of an easy opening. Now, be you friend or foe?

Hawke:
You're a rather plesant fellow aren't you?

Fenris:
(deadpan) Friend or foe? I will not ask it again

Hawke:
My name is Hawke I hold no grievance with you my friend. Might I know your name?

Fenris:
It is of no consequence.

(More of the Bounty Hunter's henchmen begin to rush towards the docks after seeing their fallen leader and comrades lying at the feet of their target)

Hawke:
(wide eyed)  Well by the looks of things I'd say that if either of us are going to get out of this alive it is of consequence.

Fenris:
Fine then, call me Fenris. Oh and Hawke?

Hawke: Yes Fenris?

Fenris: Run!

I read all of Fenris' dialogue from that scene in Karl Urban's voice. Mmm.

 Hey, nothing wrong with Paint. Crappy Paint comics are still my favourite things to draw.

I don't know what other programs you've tried, but I'd recommend Painter X, made by the same company. There's also a couple free programs floating around the internet that I've heard people recommend, like Paint Tool SAI and GIMP. I think those are quite user-friendly, too.

No. I was just a mean, foul person back in my (early) Oblivion days. If a NPC was following my character in general, I'd take them over to Dive Rock and somehow make them fall off to their deaths (if you've never seen this, look up "Oblivion Adoring Fan Dive Rock" on YouTube).

Martin usually got the worst of it because of the fact that he was one of the easiest NPCs (in my opinion) to get to follow you. And he didn't die-- just got knocked unconscious, so he'd get up a few seconds later and I'd just repeat the process.

Oh, Madame... I loved you so much for that Adoring Fan Dive Rock to that epic music... but how could you hurt Martin? Martin?! :crying: HE WAS A HOT PRIEST/HEROIC PRINCE VOICED BY SEAN BEAN FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! *sob* Why? Whyyyyyy?!

I was a mean person. I iz so sowwy!

Except Martin wasn't heroic, the kill-stealer. *Is still bitter about Dagon. Grumbles under breath.*

I LOVE SYLAR. *ahem* Zac Quinto.

Too bad he doesn't have an accent so he could play a certain elf ;)

Hmm.His costar in Star Trek could still work. New Zealand would sound pretty exotic, though not too exotic because it has a certain similarity to
other accents. But that still doesn't feel right somehow.

Geez, I really want that character video! Are we there yet? *bounces in her chair*

*Covers nose*

E-Eomer... (Will always be the first character I think of when we're talking about Karl Urban. Damn you, Peter Jackson!)

I think I would start crying if that was Fenris' VA and he wasn't a LI. Seriously, just start crying. Except I know not to worry. Gaider said that the guy doing Fen did another well-known RPG.

I love cats. Anders, on the other hand, is one of those "Glass half-full" folks.

We don't really see eye-to-eye on most occasions.

Me, I've got one of these clever little silly clowny nutbags; I'm not really a cat person (with some exceptions; I love a well-socialized cat). I'm also not much of an optimist, more so than when I was growing up but still not really much of one.

But I still loved Anders. He was so cute about the cat, so I was happy to give it to him.

Aww, you have a Daushaund too? S/He's gorgeous!

I can't own cats because I love my pet rats too much to risk owning my other animal love, so I own a shorthaired daushaund that is such a well-natured little dog despite her age (she's just over a year old). She doesn't try to hurt my rats-- she plays with them. And not like they're food.

Stick figures are awesome! You should see all the crappy things me and my friend draw at school xD And we always lack the proper tools (aka ruler/crayons). But it's fun at that is all that matters.

Look what we did yesterday on "How romances scenes are dealt with". I drew chibi Cassandra

I know, but... but he was cute! It was almost Alistair-unmolested-by-Morrigan-esque, that kill steal. And he was cute! And he had a sexy voice! You could have taken out your rage at the kill steal on him in the bedroom. It would have been magical. :crying:

Damn you, Bethesda, for not letting us give him the shag he deserved! *shakes fist*

Thank you! :) Her name is Cheyenne, after my great-grandmother's tribe. She's about the same age as yours, just a little older, and she is very sweet but very crazy. She does this hilarious little cartoon thing where, if you throw a toy in a direction she wasn't expecting her legs start moving before her body catches up! And she has no fear about crashing headlong into a wall as long as she gets the toy in the process; I swear, she is just like a cartoon character! Silly puppy.

My parents' first dog (the second is a sweet beagle boy), who was mine before I moved out and stays forever in my heart, is a golden retriever and dachshund mix. Taffer was exactly the same as your dog about my mice--just sort of stared at them in bewilderment and tilted her head, then sniffed at them; never went into predator mode. Contrarily, though, the dachshund instinct is very much in her--we had some moles living in the backyard and my dad couldn't stop her before she snapped two of their necks! The other one sure ran fast, and it only got away because he had her on the line. Poor little buggers. I mean, the dogs' instincts were to save their family's crops and thus protect their livelihood, but it was a sharp reminder that though she knows "the smell of humans on an animal means it's a friend," she sure didn't have any mercy for a wild creature that didn't have a human smell on it! So weird to see those innocent big brown eyes after she did something like that. It reminded me of the time the neighbor's cat left that dead baby field mouse on our front doorstep. :crying: Man, that sucked. I love rodents. I once wanted a snake, weird though it seems to me now, but could never have fed it rodents.

Your welcome! :D I have no other words to call her but gorgeous!

Mine is called BooBoo (I did not want the name the original owner gave her, but she's too darn cute for any other name). She's crazy, and forgets that she's as long as she is, so if she tries to jump up on your lap or onto the bed or something, her rear end usually pulls her back down to the ground. She likes to sit up on her back legs and has perfect balance-- she does this to see out the window if she's sitting on the back of my couch or if she's desperately begging. Which the begging is horrible pitiful because she paws your legs and has this vibrating whine and makes the best puppy face ever.

I need to get a picture of this in action... Perhaps it would melt Ser Gaider's heart...

=Edit=

Whoa, I just realized how seriously off-topic we are all getting. Time to get back on the road long road to DA2 and chit-chat about Fenris.

SO, what do people think will be the next thing we'll learn about our shiny elf?

I'm hoping for a companion trailer like we got for the Awakening characters.  But, if they release those at all they will probably wait until all the companions have been revealed.   Otherwise I'm not sure how much more we will really learn about him.

How about his height? I would like to know if they've really made elves taller in DA2, or if it just looks that way in the concept art.

Speaking of Fenny pinning Hawke against a wall... does anyone have a link/quote to where The Grand Poobah said that thing, about writing a LI that would do that? Or just remember what thread he said it in? I'd be eternally grateful.

It was really early after DA2 was announced I believe... I couldn't even tell you where it was... I didn't even have a account at that time-- I was just a lurker.

I'd place my money on a character video like they did with the characters of DAO.

Either that or perhaps an in-game trailer

@Madame Rose Crimsynn, Karl got tons of picture in armour and every single one of them is drool worthy! Try google him and you will see! I adore his accent to bits as well and still hoping he was the one Ser Poobah was talking about (regardless how slim the chances are).

Prompt topic contribution, anyone ?

This sounds like something Ser Gaider would be willing to answer next time he drops by. :) I'd like to know if Fenris is as tall as/taller than FemHawke?

Oh, and while we're on the subject of Karl Urban, here's an hysterical video someone did editing the Riders of Rohan scene in Two Towers with Eomer: www.youtube.com/watch :D
