What irked me was the thought that fluffiness and discussion couldn't co-exist.
Good thing no one thought that?
It probably wasn't intended that way, but it came off like that with Dave's 'degenerated into nothing but half-naked art/it was fun while it lasted' comment, implying that the thread had reached its discussion quota and would only feature silliness and art. Which is probably why some people took offence to it.

@Ankuu - thanks.

Fenris is fun to practice hair-shading techniques on.

Back to Fenris, since he has an
aversion to people touching him, do you think that you could have the
option to hug him or give him a reassuring shoulder pat or the like, and
if your approval isn't high he will back away or stop you, while if
high enough he will tolerate it or even initiate some such gesture in a
conversation? I have a friend that hates physical contact, and I
remember the day I knew she considered me a good friend because she
usually will stop you or back away if you try one of the above mentioned
things, but that day I was upset about something and she initiated a
hug. It's pretty cool that because of her attitude towards contact that
simple gesture meant a lot when most now don't even think twice about
it.
I think little things like that could play out
interestingly in-game. Like I mentioned earlier, he might place value in
someone who has a good sense of humour, since humour is something he
probably wasn't exposed to for a long time. It's the same thing with
little things we take for granted, like enjoying a really good meal or
being able to leave the house whenever we want. Kind of like one of
Anders' lines in Awakening - he made a comment along the lines of how
great it felt to just walk around a city after being stuck in the Circle
Tower/on the run from Templars.
