@Jarek_Cousland, she will be in game. Remembered Hawk was from Lothering? He/She actually will see the Warden and the gang before he/she fleed the dooming town.

I meant post Lothering.

Dont mind me. This new monster I'm drinking is having adverse effects...

Jarek, don't deny it; Fenris is having an effect on you!

Just listened to Daniel Craig on Youtube. He has a very deep, gritty, sexy voice.

He'll always be 007 Casino Royale to me, though.

What mystery female?

Person: "Have you ever requested a VA before?"
David Gaider: "Three times: Tim Curry as Arl Howe.  'Meg' and one other who I can't talk about because she hasn't been announced yet."

That could have been convience rather than intentional, like stens appearance.

Or it could be intentional. There are some parallels between the British empire and the Tevinter Imperium.

It's from an convo Maria digged up during our discussion in the old thread:

David Gaider wrote...

There have been exactly three occasions where I have gone to Caroline and said "I want this actor, please" and my first choice was both available and interested.

Amusingly, the infamous "MEG" is one of those occasions.

When we asked him what are those three, he replied:

David Gaider wrote...
Well, one was Arl Howe (I said in his write-up that he "sounds like Tim Curry"... I wasn't expecting to actually get Tim Curry). The other I can't tell you because she hasn't been announced yet, either.

More like the Byzantine Empire.
Wiki mentions it in the Trivia section.

Would that make British a plausible accent for Tevinters?

Hmm... So did he manage to get the actors that he requested? We know Tim Curry was a yes. Did the other two say yes?

I look at Fenris' concept art and for some reason 'Viggo Mortensen' pops into into my head as a voice actor. He'd be way too expensive to hire, though.

Magister: "The Viggo in you is strong, elf."

Fenris: "Wait, what?"

Magister: "Yes, yes... you'll do quite nicely." *Knocks Fenris out*

Oh dear. Viggo Mortensen is just as sexy as Sean Bean. I love them both.

*Bows* Thank you, I won't be here all night but I'll try!
And I just realized there are two Star Wars references in a row on this page.

Yes, which was why he was surprised.

[Snipped the gorgeous David Wenham pic here]

We just need to pool our money and hire all of them to speak Fenris' voice in nerdgasmous unison.
(Or just snag Sean Bean, I'm cool with that.)

If Fenris was a hardcore party type/hippie I'd say Iggy Pop.

How cool would it be to see some strung out elf voiced by Iggy?

But in more seriousness I'd like him not to sound all that british. Since most of the Elves in Origins didnt. But maybe that was just a Fereldan thing?

I love David Wenham, too!

How about Peter Wingfield? (Methos from the Highlander series). He has a lovely voice. And he's Welsh. Maybe Meg retained his old accent.

But he's not Dalish. :crying:

Or have all elves been Welsh'd?

The white marks, which are presumably caused by the lyrium, follow his vascular system. That also does not mean that he has lyrium in his system, but it's something to think about.

Nice pick up. :) Though I'd wonder what those remote dots were in his concept art, if it's only supposed to target the vascular system...

The pattern could, alternately/additionally, have some specific relevance to blood magic. Tevinter magister, and all. It's not a huge leap of logic for Fenris' master to be a BM.

Watch and see Fenris VA is Tim Curry.

Hopefully Fen-dawg wont demand for MOARR.

I could also see him having a surprisingly deep voice. You see an emo cut male elf and expect a Peter Parker like "Hai! Imma Elf =]"

But instead he comes up with this deep man voice, like Thanes minus the 50+ year smokers scratch.

Lulz. All the theories being brought up (vascular system or slave for example) were brought up in the old thread but ignored, I find it funny how with a name everybody is crazy speculation mode. :P
