@Maria actually the only DA companion I've disliked up to now is Velanna. So I mean, I'm not saying they have to be all roses and sunshine. I even liked Loghain. I'll probably like Fen too, unless he's exactly like Elric, in which case I'll probably lose interest.

In DA, the only characters I hated talking to were Leliana and Wynne. Leliana because of the ninjamancing and she gave off a creepy vibe. Wynne because she injected her unsolicited opinion and I didn't get where her hubris came from. Even though I never pursued Morrigan I felt she had depth and I understood the reason for her opinions and actions. Same with Anders, Nate, Alistair, Zev and the others.

As long as Fenris isn't a one trick pony like Ogren then I will be happy regardless of all the LI stuff. The party works best when all have some common thread. I often played my mage with Shale, Sten and Morrigan because they all were outsiders. I hope the new group can have similar threads.

I can do that, although I need you to confirm which part you like, the upper part or the lower part (my guess is the lower part).
