Sarel of the Dalish camp had stubble. See?
That, to be honest, is the clearest picture I've seen of Sarel as far as people trying to prove elf stubble goes. And yes, I do see it now, and I have to say its gotta be some oversight. I've seen no other elves with stubble or facial hair, and they may have used a human model for the face when designing. Hell he has an accent when Dalish, as far as Origins goes, didn't have accents. Sarel's gotta be some big, cosmic gaming mistake
@namedforthemoon, I'm not trying to "not see" things I don't want to see. I legitimitely can't tell, even after looking over all the pics of screenshots I could find, and the only reason I care is that consistency needs to be maintained. If the player can't pick a facial hair option for their male elf wardens, that to me spells it out as official that elves don't have facial hair, not to mention all the other elves (besides Sarel, which I mentioned above) not having it. There have been many retcons and inconsistencies I've seen and heard of for DA2, and I'm hoping certain factual, if nitpicky details, are maintained. That is one of the main things that allows me to enjoy sequels to games, and was a major reason why thermal clips in Mass Effect 2 initially pissed me off.

If you look really close at Fenris you can see a small hint of stubble. Maybe that's just how stubble looks in game now.

He's got a 2PM shadow. You can see it in the big blown up pictures used for the wallpapers that people made. (Oooh, Lucy, you have to see those!) I say 2PM because it's shorter than a 5PM shadow.

I don't mind retcons necessarily, which is a little weird since sometimes I can get a little too fixated on details and consistency and so forth.
I loved the heat clip retcon in ME2, I suppose simply because I'm used to reloading from other games and therefore it just felt more natural.

But i can't tell if he really has a stubble or that's the texture of his skin (which btw is really nice!). They improved the textures a lot.

You just gave me another idea entirely. Too bad the BW staff would never do it. A video of everyone who has been labeled a blind fanboy just doing things at BW HQ, such as acting as water coolers, and David Gaider's desk, and when we walk past windows, there would be the doomsayers, staring in disapproval.

I've got to say Misha Collins (The Angel Castiel from the TV show Supernatural) voice would be perfect (IMO) it's gruff & direct & he can be really funny without his voice betraying him.
