Hip wiggle

As far as Orsino, him being the magister seems...too likely, you know? He LOOKS like a bad magister willing to torture his own kind, it'd be more fun if he was at least a chill villian if he was a villain at all. And isn't Orsino a Twelfth Knight character? The Duke/Count of Illyaria yes? I haven't touched the play in age but I'm pretty sure it is. *doesn't know if this is revelent*

On an off-topic note, I just finished shovelling and beat the plow in, this means no shovelling of the ridge for me B)

@kwintessa, Devera? She's a Tevinter Elf, not an Magister. But it's funny, I don't recall there is a rule saying you can't be a magister if you are an elf.

Orsino reminds me of Devera (ooh, thank you, I was getting mad at myself for not remembering XD) because they both seem to be free of blood magic slavery, even as elves. Devera was Caladrius' fellow henchman slaver, yes? She wasn't a blood thrall or an elf of low rank. So I think it would follow that Orsino could be a magister. Edit: Even if he's not Fenris' magister, per se.

This is what David said (on another thread, regarding the identity of Orsino):

David Gaider wrote...

Orsino is a character in DA2. One assumes more information will be forthcoming regarding it, though I don't think that particularly affects the robes in any fashion.

...........intriguing, no?

Okay, who the fack is Orsino? been a while since I played DAO, so I need a reminder!

But that would really suck for Fenny--I mean Fenris if the magister that experimented on him was an elf as well :crying:

I think Fenris's magister is the "friendly" villager you run into outside of the Lothering tavern. Maybe it's the fact that his VA is the same as Vaughen, but I dont trust him... Posted Image

And yet, am strangely attracted to him at the same time. Grah! I love that man's voice Posted Image

You are a brave woman... I get my driveway plowed. Best. Investment. Ever. And yes, Orsino is a Twelfth Night character. Gaider said he liked the play. One of my favorite quotes from it:  "Many a good hanging prevents a bad marriage."

I don't really get enough snow to warrent it, being coastal, but we're expecting another 30cm + rain so it'll be nice and rock solid come morning. BF gets to shovel then though so no big. :innocent:

I quite like that quote as well, and could I get links to the Devera info? I seem to have missed it.

It would be an interesting dynamic to explore again with the new technology...Having two companions that completely and totally detested each other (Minsc/Dynaheir vs Edwin from the Baldur's Gate series)

I'm sure Fenris' quests are going to involve dealing with his former master. Orsino himself seems tied to the main plot from the little we know and I doubt you're gong to be dealing with him on both of those fronts.

Ooooh, that Devera. Gotcha. Totally forgot she had a name. In other news...Fenris.

So...thinking some more about each of our companions having homes and such, has this mental image of Fenris in a cooking apron, failing miserably at cooking dinner for his lovely Lady Hawke Posted Image Adorable

Totally random, I know. Figured I'd share...

I lied, four hours not one hour. I am still alone in my strange little timezone. And still going to be due to numb toes.

I'm going to be in Wednesday for another six hours-- I'm plenty fine if you feel like going early.

This makes me wonder what would be in his actual house...I wonder what kind of living area he would create for himself.

I toyed around with the idea of Fen living with you and your sibling for a while....and then Carver decides he doesn't want to live in paranoia anymore, and rallies Aveline and Varric to assist him in building Fen a small cottage outside the city.

I'm thinking a hammock for some reason. Like I said before, I just cant imagine him in a "normal" sort of housing situation. Not that there's anything wrong with hammocks, of course Posted Image

If Orsino is a Magister, hilarity might ensue:

Orsino: You look familiar Fenris, have we met before?

Fenris:
Feast Day, several years ago, you were the drunken bastard who told my old master that it might be fun to light me ablaze whilst the two of you stood there and laughed.

Orsino:
Really? I don't remember your old master.

Fenris: At least one of us doesn't.

Varric:
He's messing with your head, its this thing that Fenris does. Hell, I don't know how I can think straight some days.
