Hmm.

So a "yes" would mean tears... and a "no" would mean even more tears.

Excellent. I'd call that a win/win.

...

I shall withhold my tears if it's a no.

You shall lose product!

Riot in a good way or a bad way? Cuz once again does anyone really think that's gonna stop anyone from "rectifying" the situation if he's gay/ not a LI? If he's gay I'd imagine you'd get fangirls of an entirely new breed...

Coincedentially enough, I was listening to a song called Expression by Helen Jane Long, the entire time.

@ Tank & Squadette - Thank you for clarifying for me.

So, I went ahead and wrote a little prompt. I apologize if it is late, my head-to-paper rate of speed is akin to a dial up.

Unlikely Places

It was much too late in the evening for surprises.

Physically and mentally exhausted, the party had somehow managed to trudge through the gates of Kirkwall, up the winding cobblestone streets of Hightown to the steps of the Amell ancestral homestead. Its facade was grandiose and daunting, befitting of its noble inhabitants. The interior didn’t deviate much from its counterpart. The marble floors, vaulted ceilings and four-tiered chandelier echoed self-importance throughout the cavernous entry hall.Though careful to keep his face neutral, Fenris was certain some of his uneasiness leaked through. He had a vague memory of walking the corridors of estates much like this one. It left him with a feeling of foreboding. His recall may have been dubious, but Fenris knew nothing advantageous to his person had ever occurred in places such as these.

They all followed The August Lady Hawke, as Varric had taken to calling her, up a particularly imposing staircase
to a series of hallways. There they began to dissipate; two down that passage, three down the other and the lady striding into one of her own. Not a word was spoken between them. They all knew their place within these walls without the crutch of instruction. Fenris stood uncertain, debating as to whether he should call out to one of them or just go sleep in the garden.

“Fenris.” Hawke sounded out, not bothering to slow her pace or even glance at him. The elf hesitated for a moment before falling into step behind her. The foggy recollection struck him hard in that instant: of coming to heel when he was summoned to. He didn’t know to whom or why, just that he had.

“You remind me of someone.” He proclaimed before the thought had even properly formed in his head. The lady didn’t miss a beat.

“Is that good or bad?” She asked disinterested as they continued on their way.

“I am not sure yet.” Fenris replied dryly.

“Do let me know when you figure it out.” Hawke shot back just as dry whilst opening an ornate wooden door. “You may stay here for the time being, if you wish. It is not much, but the bed is comfortable, or so I have heard.”

“Pardon?” The elf crooked a quizzical eye towards her. “The what?”

“The bed. It is comfortable.” She repeated slowly. Fenris turned to regard the armoire thoughtfully.

“Does one sleep in it or on it?” She gaped at him.

“You…” The lady started, but found herself without words for a few long moments. “You have never seen a bed before?” Her brow was furrowed and lips parted slightly at what she herself found as an unfathomable notion. The look on Hawke’s face was a far cry from her usually composed, albeit snarky, expression. Fenris found he could not help himself; his lips quirked upwards at the sight of their own volition. The gesture was minute, but her eyes did not fail to spot it. “Oh, you are having me on. It is far too late in the day for that, my forgetful friend.”

The lady turned to leave and was almost out the door before his voice stopped her. He had murmured something even her ears could not catch. With one hand still on the finely carved wood she leveled a no nonsense look at the elf.

“Come again?” She inquired politely enough.

“Thank you.” Fenris repeated, nearly as quietly as before. “This is… This is more than I have ever had.” He stole a glance of her out of the corner of his eye. Something dangerously close to pity flashed across the plains of her face before she effectively shut herself down again.

“You are welcome. I do hope you sleep well, m’lord.” Hawke bowed slightly at the waist and gave an exaggerated whirl of the hand in his direction.

“As do you, m’lady.” And with that she was gone. He turned to what he deduced was the actual bed and eyed it with suspicion. It was far too late for surprises. He wanted something familiar. Fenris blew out the candle on the nightstand stretched himself out on the floor.

cool, thank you!

Then we have no choice but to cut off your tear supply until we get the confirmation; permanetly if we get a negative answer. If we get a positive answer, the 75% part of Earth that is water will look like a mere puddle compared to what we'll give you.:)

Unlike most adventurers of the era, Fenris comes ready with a glow stick --of a sort-- in case of emergency.

Just don't ever try to bend then shake it. For your own sake.

Psshaw, I filled the Pacific Ocean.

And don't worry, I have brownies. They are yummy!

=Edit=

Hmmm... I wonder if Gaider is kicked back with his feet up on his desk/table/a surface of some sort reading our Fangirl pleas and laughing.

Is it bad if I post my prompt from last week like tomorrow? Or should I not even bother? I haven't been able to use my home pc for the past week. This was the biggest fail ever for me.
