I have a wonder...In DA:O LI's gave the PC a token when they fell in love, if Fenris was a LI what do you think he'd give you?

I agree my butt off on this point. What I would really hope for is that they have an achievement for finishing the game with a certain romance! That's a far more impressive achievement than just boinking somebody.

Agree x a billion. Linking the achievement to the love scene makes, well, Kotaku write articles about Bioware games and the unintended suggestion that sex is the culmination of a relationship.

There should be a "Bro's before Ho's" achievement for having maximum friendship with all same-sex companions and no in-game relationship. I'd laugh.

Good question, I wonder if there's still gonna be trinkets...what his would be I have no idea, maybe something he held onto during his slave days that gave him hope?

@ Nikki, Margaret and Duchessa too!

Thanks. It's actually a friend of mine's... I could've gone with a alternate ending (which is actually what happened to her one of the times she did it-- thankfully, it was to a guy she is good friends with), in which then Fenris would've inhaled deeply, gone over to Fem!Hawke, picked her up and have whispered, "Come with me", but I chose the more common reaction.

I kinda want the token (if there is one) to be a feather. He has them on his armour, maybe birds symbolise freedom to him, he most likely saw them when he was enslaved assuming he wasn't kept in some dark magister closet of evil.

It'd be like "This is my freedom, I want to share it with you."

I think something like that would be really moving...and they are so very pretty

...and needless to say I will never be a writer XD

But it was so poetic!

And I noticed that Fenris has feathers on his armor and Hawke has what looks like (wolf) fur on her (mage) armor... Interesting...

@Panda I "awww"d as well, so sweet Posted Image

Also makes a lot of sense with the whole symbolism with "freedom" It'll be interesting to see if that plays into the game...and then I will come back on the forums, find you, and accuse you of bein some kind of fortune teller! Posted Image

Something simple, possibly symbolic of freedom, given after (if? I'm not sure) they defeat the magister, to show how grateful he is to Hawke that his bonds had been truly cut. (assuming the magister doesn't have any lackeys that would try finish what he started) That's what I'm picturing, anyway.

On a mostly unrelated note, and I don't want anyone to take this the wrong way, if we do encounter the magister and there is dialogue with him, I'd find it sort of neat if there was an option to hand Fenris over to him. I thought it was strangely awesome how you could offer Alistair up for the slaughter, betray Morrigan, or assume that Zevran would re-join the Crows even if they're your love interests. So if you do have a high relationship score/are in a hypothetical romance, it makes for the ultimate betrayal, which makes for delicious dramaz that Poison likes seeing once she's finished her serious playthroughs.

It also gives weight to the relationship itself, especially if the magister offered you power/gold/whatnot in return, and could mean a lot to Fenris. It could also be a way of sort of solidifying the friendship/romance, much like the DA:O/ME2 loyalty missions did, but in a more natural-feeling way.

Not only that, but it at least gives people who don't like the character one less thing to hate about them. When people bash on any of the companions they have the option to not recruit/kill off/tell to go away, it's easy to ask why the played the game through with that character in the first place, if they hate them so much.

Eh, I'm not sure if I communicated my point properly. It's 3:33 in the morning and I have a cold. /excuses.

@littlenikki, If that does happen in the game I might not be able to stop myself from squeeing at a decibel that will render my flatmates permenantly deaf. And the gloating, oh the gloating...I'm a bad person...

@Panda

Oooh, a feather *was evidently not paying attention about the gift, just the feathers*.

I imagine my Hawkette would try to wear it. And if it falls out or she loses it, she'll start crying and go for the pity points.

Owie! Use glue instead!

Dialogue assuming Hawke wears the feather. In her hair.

Fenris: Hawke, why is there a hard spot in your hair?

Hawke: I glued the feather in. So I don't lose it.

Fenris: O_O

...Why didn't using glue occur to me first?

@Poison, That does sound like good drama. Spicy, spicy drama. Though I don't think I could give him back to the magister/kill him/other gruesome fate. In DA:O I got so attached to Alistair I cried buckets when he sacrificed himself and my friends couldn't mention his name for months without the tears coming forth once more! If the same thing happens with Fenris I might physically be unable to do it from the agony of my pulled heart strings.
