@Doctor: What would gruel exactly consist of? Raccoon excretment, grubs, a hint of old chicken broth and paprika, and a clipping of Oghren's toe-nail? :blink:

Nug broth *nod*

Gruel is usually a staple grain (rice, wheat, barley, corn, etc) mixed together with water. Its a lot like oatmeal, and is a traditional food of peasants. Fenris doesn't strike me as being the kind of person who likes fancy dishes, and instead prefers to eat simply.

@Margaret: My god

@Doctor: That doesn't sound too bad, actually! I don't exactly have grand meals. Usually pasta or homey food.

Woot! Also yeah  then no matter what happens you end up trecking the desert alone which was nerve wrecking, you felt so isolated.

I love the Walter ghosts as you continue. It's heartbreaking that it makes you leave him no matter what, but the shadow of him that is an echo to the beginning combat training, and the one that leads you to Aurora's steps are just fantastic. It kind of forces an emotional connection on you, reminding you that no matter how much of a jerk your character is (and the third game seemed to do everything possible to dissuade you from playing a jerk) Walter still stuck with you the whole way, guiding you. The one with the torch, as I said, that leads you to Aurora is worst/best one of all. Even though it's just a corrupted, shadowy hallucination, he's still trying to get you to where you need to be. (I still hold a grudge over how much the game, well, seemed to do everything possible to dissuade you from evil choices, though. Lionhead didn't get the memo that giving the character a voice didn't mean they had to give them a personality as well. And then you get into the "Games shouldn't use morality because they can't read intentions" bit.)

@Margaret: Wow. That's a lot of Fenris.

ooh, Fen with shades...

Awesome

Edit: As much as I love Fable...I think we are startin to drift a bit off topic here. On topic, if Fenris had a theme song, what do you guys think it'd be? After that Sexy Wiggle assault I can only think of "Sexy Back" How typical Posted Image

He might like it. I know I like it with hints of mint/peppermint, whipped cream, and chocolate shavings on it. Maybe all Fenris wants is loving woman, a warm drink, and the right to cram swords into the tracheas of Magisters??

Somewhat like this...

AT THE HAWKE HOUSEHOLD ON A YUCKY RAINY DAY
Hawke: *Thrusts cup containing mysterious, unknown and possibly dangerous contents at Fenris* Go on, take it.
Fenris: Uhm, alright... *Takes cup; peers at rich brown, foamy liquid within* What is this? It smells rather nice.
Hawke: The best thing in the whole damn world for a woman during... well, you know. *Sips hot chocolate daintily*
Fenris: *Raises eyebrow in amusement*
Hawke: *Grins mischievously  in reply*
Fenris: You are a very strange woman.
Hawke: I know. But you love me more for it. Now drink.
