Marian is the default name for FHawke like Garett is for MHawke.

32 different haircuts sounds nice... until you find out you HATE 31 of them and can only live with 1

It could be like in fallout 3 where I was faced with a million half-bald with hair falling out haircuts and the other half were stayathome housewife ones and only 3 were left that looked normal and practical for the road.



Not that I think bioware would do that to usXD

Yeah. I can see how it looks sexual, but it's not the first thing that occurred to me. My first thought was it's a good animation, like the candle flame. My second was that it's cute. My third was D: HIS HAIR ISN'T MOVING.

@Tank - Yeah, I hardly ever use the default names either, I just haven't thought of anything that 'sticks' like Marian/Garrett yet. I did quite like 'Neria' and 'Sereda' and 'Eram' in Origins, though.

Edit: BTW the eye colors we've seen thus far are so vivid and pretty and magnificent... I foresee many an hour spent in the Character Creator for me...

I can't decide between using the default name or Eleanor..or if I'm going to use the default face (which is lovely but unable to change hair-style, tattoo's etc on) or not....
I think I'll just end up using the first 20 hours or so in the character creator (love the fact there is so many eye colors and hair-styles, what about hair colors..?)


That dialogue about the sword-naming both made me d'aww and giggle.. I think my Hawkette will keep Fen and Carver as permanent party-members

That was my ideea too. I thought of Ailise, which is the equivalent of Alicia/Alice (i think...must check).

Briste is pretty (in my opinion)-- it's the Irish word for "Broken", and I've been considering naming my Mage!Hawkette "Briste" instead of "Rosalyn".

I'm also toying with the idea of a Gaelic name - the spellings fascinate me. I quite like Mairéad ('pearl') and Ceallach (warrior).

In Fen-related news, The Grand Poobah saying that Fenris will occasionally 'break into meditation-like comments on the fight' piqued my interest. Is this a method of fighting encouraged by the magister? Was it a coping mechanism he used in his early days that stuck with him? Does he do other things that could be considered 'meditiation-like', such as... meditating? I MUST HAVE ANSWERS.

Edit - Tricky, that's awesome. I love all the chibi that's been around lately.
