Anyone have a clip of a SA accent? I don't think I've ever heard one before?

http://www.dpntalent...nt_title=hakeem

Here you go. Just click the Hakeem Kae Kazim- Other Africa choice, then Play Sample.

Come to think of it, I'm not sure this is SA, but this is what I was thinking of.

Ah thanks for the linkage dear yeah that particular accent just sounds like an African accent to me, he would've made a better Mufasa (Sorry James Earl Jones lol)

Ugh. I hate this feeling. The very feeling that was felt while I waited for Dragon Age: Origins to come out. ANXIETY. I find it hard to concentrate, I often day dream, and I always find myself on the forums more than usual, waiting some information to fly in here on a rainbow of happiness. Only....the info gets me hyped up and excited, making it even more agonizinly painful to wait.....

I feel your pain, Margaret. At this point, the only way I can calm my anxiety is to come to the forums. The only way you could make me not come here is if you disconnected my internet or killed my computer. Then I would die a horrible death of anxiety.

Hmm... all this talk of accents and voices has really made me want Fenris to be a LI even more. I can really imagine him speaking to Hawke in Tevinter during a love scene or particularly romantic moment...kinda like Thane and his "siha" moments , except more awesome.

Tbh, I really am excited at the possibility of Fenris being a love interest. While the love interests (for a female warden) were great, they were rather friendly and open and humerous. I look forward to the possibility of a love interest that is more troubled, broody, pained, and perhaps angry (Fenris table slam ftw), as I don't recall a male LI being like this in a game for a while ( I could be wrong of course :P).

If the LI isn't Fenris than I can only really see Varric or Anders (I'll just assume that it's him for now;)) being the romancables for LadyHawke, and while that would be great, they both seem to be, at least in part, jovial and extroverted...well, at least more so than I assume Fenris would be.

If the party was to travel to a location that had a large quantity of lyrium (i.e. the Deep Roads) do you think the exposure would effect Fenris differently than the rest of the companions? Contact high? Increased abilities? Glow stick powers activate?

I wonder if he can overdose on lyrium exposure?...That would suck pretty badly, then again if he could get the stuff pumped in his veins directly I would assume he would be alright...hmm good question.

Atm I'd like to think he glows when under extreme emotional anguish, or when he's being controled maybe?

From the sound of what Dave was telling us about Fenris' combat dialogue, I'm kind of reminded of Thane from ME2. Fenris is technically a living weapon, so to him combat might be like a meditative state, where Fenris just lets go and lets his conditioning take hold until the end of the fight.

On the subject of Tevinter-Speak

Fenris: Hawke. I, well Ei vento nai mordoi deid.

Hawke:
Well that's good to know sweetheart, but I hope that's not something you decided just this minute.

Fenris: Wait, you speak Arcanum?

Hawke: I know a few things, especially what you say about me in your sleep.

Fenris:
(muttering) Fenedhis.

(First little blurb translates into "I don't want to kill you" from Arcanum)

On the subject of Fenris' sword:

Isabela: That is a fine blade Fenris. What do you call it?

Fenris: I call it a sword, it is a weapon.

Isabela: I know that Fenris, but most warriors have names for their weapons. Varric's crossbow is named Bianca, and this dagger of mine is named Ezra.

Fenris: You named your weapon after Hawke?

Isabela:
(smiling) He gave me this dagger, and just like its namesake it protects me and is always by my side. He carries one named after me. That's the idea behind naming a weapon, it conveys the owner's personallity.

Fenris: This blade is an extention of my arm. A tool. Nothing more.

Isabela: Well then, perhaps you'll change your mind.

Fenris: Perhaps I shall name this blade Silence. as a blow from it stops my foe from bothering me about trivial topics such as the name of my weapon.

Isabela: Touchy today aren't we?

Now all I can think of is Hawke using an extremely reluctant Fenris as a glow stick through the deep roads and he is very broody because of it.

I imagine an intense tingling sensation, similar to when your leg or arm falls asleep.

Is there something wrong with a Jamaican accent? lol

I'm very taken with the idea of him glowing. I really hope he does at least once in the game. Oh, I can picture it now: him and Lady Hawke are doing the deed and it's pitch black except for his markings.

lmao, seriously the big bad mighty Tevinter nation with such a laid back accent? Like I can't even...lol. Maybe in DA3 when we find the inevitable island people with red hair.

EDIT: And Moon why would he need all that when he glows himself and [insert joke that got me in "trouble" 200 pages back]
