Argh it's so hard to wait! Release date can't come any sooner...

Btw, i think i've said this before but what about Wil Wheaton as his VA? Ser Gaider has declared his love for him a while back as far as i remember.

I [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/heart.png[/smilie] Wil Wheaton. I met him at PAX, and acted like a swooning fangirl.

As
for Ser Wesley Vallen, I don't remember who named him. Might have been
me, but if he's named after Wesley Wyndham-Price there's no reason
behind it other than me liking the name.

It's just that he doesn't have an accent.

EDIT: since we're at it, Felicia Day for Merrill!

Thursday Prompt (late)

Darkspawn

Carver: "So... there isn't much that makes you feel unwell, is there?"
Fenris: "Pardon?"
Carver: "You know.... Open wounds, spilled blood, the smell of rotten eggs... Huge hairy spiders..."
Fenris: "*guh* Where is your sister?"
Carver: "... Like after we had that large lunch and just so HAPPENED to crash right in the middle of five brood mothers, all caressing us with their long, wet tentac-"
Fenris: "Hawke! Where are you?!"
Carver: "You didn't wince. Not once. Is there anything that makes you feel unwell?"
Anders: "I can tell you what he can't stand."
Fenris: "... Dear Andraste, you're back."
Anders: "You seem emotionally injured by my appearance! Truly, I'm hurt."
Fenris: "Hawke! Hawke where are you?"
Carver: "What, exactly, can't he stand? He certainly won't tell me. Actually... people don't tell me very much around here."
Anders: "That's understandable. Your chin makes you look inept."
Carver: "I--.. what?"
Fenris: "Can we focus on our mission?"
Anders: "Protecting eachothers weaknesses is part of the mission! Regardless. Fenris here seems to have a problem with poor widdle Ser Pounce-A-Lots litter box."
Fenris: "...Maybe its because the feline won't stop using my spare bag /as/ a litter box."
Anders: "He is shy but with good taste. You cannot blame him for appreciating fine Tevinter craft such as yours."
Zevran:  "Did someone say fine Tevinter craft...? Oh! Why if it isn't Fenris!"
Fenris: ".... HAWKE!"

geh. I'll come up with a better one tomorrow.

Fenris needs pointy teeth, retractable pointy teeth like Toothless from the HTTYD movie. I think that would be awesome.

I love Wil Wheaton and all but I can't imagine him as Fenris. If he really is Fen that would be fine and all but I would rather have someone else doing the VA work. My reason is mainly because when I think of Wheaton I am reminded of The Guild and his position as the leader of the Axis of Anarchy. His personality in that show is just too bracing to imagine as Fen.

But he's the enemy of Sheldon Cooper! We must not like him, we must despise him! ;)

On a serious note, I'm sure he would do a good job but I'm still clinging to my dream of Fenris having a Irish accent. I would melt to a pile of goo.

I'm sure David will be very happy with all your tears if he has an accent like that and he is not a LI. :P

Besides that, I totally agree.

I don't know if this has been said or asked before, but, how does one become a slave in the Tevinter Imperium? Are you sold into slavery, born into it, or maybe its punishment for committing a crime??

If Ser Gaider chooses to answer it could give us some innocent insight into Fenris..just sayin' :D

How would you describe Valen?

Sensitive. Tortured. Testy. Kind-hearted. Somewhat insecure. He had to fight his instincts. He was definitely romantic. I mean, there's a reason that tankgirly, Ex-Paladin, and Lady Catastrophe were using the heart icon/smiley a lot! Valen was stable overall. He wasn't the loudest romance, but his presence felt natural.

And I guess you could call him a horny redhead. (But the horns are literal this time!)

Valen was great. One of the best. I wish I'd liked NWN1 more, though Hordes was the best part of it, and Valen fit right in. I have a hunch that I might well like Fenris better than anybody that's come before him, though. I got the impression that DG was trying for something with Valen that he didn't quite feel he achieved, so I'm very intrigued at this point.

But isn't it even nicer if it's a... a lithe hip swivel? Or, dare I say, pelvic swivel? ALL HAIL THE FENRIS SWIVEL!

(P.S. If anybody wants to steal my new siggy pic, you are welcome to. :) )

I think this has been posted before but  from Wiki:

"Prior to the first Blight, the Imperium conquered Elvhenan, the elven homeland, and enslaved its people. It is still legal for elves to be sold into slavery in Tevinter and many elves choose to sell themselves into slavery to provide for their families. This results in many Tevinter elves who are not slaves being better off than elves in other areas, even if elven slaves fare far worse."

Basing it from 1/2 hour ago (when you posted)...Vancouver = Pacific (so 9 PM), Edmonton = Mountain (10 PM), Saskatchewan = Mountain/Central depending on daylight savings (they don't observe, so they switch back and foth), Manitoba/parts of Ontario = Central (11 PM), Ontario to Maritimes = Eastern (Midnight), Newfoundland = Newfoundland time (12:30 AM)

Close but going off those times it's actually; Ontario to Quebec = Eastern (midnight) Maritimes = Atlantic time (1am) NFL = NFL time (1:30am).

Giiiirls! Look what Gamereactor UK said about elves in DA2:

They are tall, slim, have big eyes and longer ears - imagine Avatar's Na'Vi mixed with the elves from Origins and you're getting close to how they look now. And no, they are not blue.

Hoozah! :o

Is there any way we can make a list of potential VA's who fit the characteristics Ser Gaider has given to us? I know it would be a long list, but it might help us narrow down our options a bit.

Barring that, who are some Italian VA's who have done work in video games (yes, I'm jumping on the Italian accent bandwagon).

LOL

I imagine if Wil Wheaton was Fenris' VA, DA2 would get popularlized on Big Bang Theory. Penny would have another "Age of Conan" period with Dragon Age 2, and she'd play a Fem!Hawke romancing Fenris (if he's LI). Sheldon would then somehow find out Wil Wheaton was Fenris' VA (possibly directly from the man himself), and have a panic attack, break Penny's door down (after knocking three times and going, "Penny, Penny, Penny!"), and throw her laptop (or her console, if she got a console just for DA2) out the window.
