If Fenris and our final companion aren't romancible to both genders then that leaves Varric and that would be hilarious and unexpected

I agree here completely. Even if Fenris was bi, I think his romance would be highly different from Zevran's, drawing off Gaider's comments of their non-resemblance.

That's what I thought, too, when Ser Gaider said that Fenris is nothing like Zevran; I figured personality. Mostly because Devs love to tease to no end, so I doubt he'd be hinting anything about anything to do with Fenri's hypothetical sexuality. On the more abstract side, I tend not to think about sexuality as being a necessary division for differences and similarities.

Preferences in lagers, though? Entirely necessary.

Yes, but as I said earlier, if they keep it up, they're going to end up typecasting their own race. The male-elf-of-the-party  will become almost expected to be the bi option, and that's just a bit on the stupid side. I have no problem with them making someone in this game bi. I just don't think it wise to start a sort of pattern. Because you know how speculators get, and when DA3 is being announced, whoever is the male elf in the party will become expected to be a bi option. I don't like predictability.

It's got nothing to do with him matching Zevran in personality (for me at least) and everything to do with me wanting to avoid stereotypes in future party members.

This just keeps coming up doesn't it? Being BI doesn't automatically turn you into Zevran. Even if he is bi, he'll be very different I think. With the little information we have, his personality does seem different. Much different.

I see where your coming from but I mean then we would also say main people like Alistair and Morrigan only like the opposite sex which is you know something we see coming. I mean he could be bi,  he could be gay,  he could not be a LI. I still think he is going to rock no matter what!
