I think it would be jerkier for him to just assume you'd be open to that. Not only are you his Commander, but he has no idea if you're involved with anyone. Unless you're a Cousland who married Alistair, I suppose. It's different than the first game, which takes place over a year, with no one except the same companions who could flirt with you. I like the way that was executed, myself.

So I had to read that a few times to get it,  I don't know if it's my inability to read with a Canadian accent, or the fact that I'm Australian and we all speak like idiots. But after a few good times it made me laugh alot.

I went through Awakening first as my carried over M!Cousland, the second time I went through as an F!Orleasian mage, and yeah like I said I know it wasn't about  romance and the like but I would've liked the option to flirt or be playful is all, I guess for a lack of a better word I missed actually talking to my companions instead of just walking around the world to see a random highlighted object that would allow new dialog
