Great now all I can see is Fenris as Arcade Gannon
No, I mean personality wise, Arcade's got a pretty realistic view of the world. And he speaks Latin. We need a picture of Fen in Gordon Freeman Glasses now.
I think they look good on him.

I'm almost 5'8" and I hope hope hope that Fenris is at least a little bit taller than FemHawke.
Awww, but Tiffy... Seth! Don't you think you could love Seth Green?

Well, if it's just not your thing, then I understand... but you can't deny the cuteness, can you? Cuteness!

I'm just over six feet, and I desperately
hope he's shorter. If he's taller, I seriously doubt I'll even go
through the potential romance as quickly as I was going to. Romancing
guys taller than I am seriously rubs me the wrong way. It's one of the
reasons why I liked Zevran so much.
Well, you know I've got your back on this one. Though sadly, it looks like I'm the only short chick who does.

I first found out about Fenris on the Dragon Age wiki news,
and the moment I saw him and read his short biography I thought: He is
so cool. I hope he's a love interest.
Of course, being in
England, I have to wait until March 11th for the game. But that's a
Friday, and I don't have any uni lectures that day, so Yay me! *ahem*
On
topic of height, I'm 5'8", and I tend to be amongst the tallest one of
the group. So, if Fenris is a little smaller than me, I have no
complaints.
Congratulations on catching up, and welcome!

Same here; I'm a Gen Y girl, and I fit what you were describing. My guy looks cute with stubble, but then when I try to kiss him... arrgghh! No, thank you. I like how it looks, but I don't like stubbly-kisses.
Happy trails are good, though. *hugs Crooked Asylum*

Fenris: (waking up with a splitting headache) Oh Maker, this is worse than anything the Magister ever did to me. (notices Hawke curled up in a ball next to him) Hawke, my dear its time to get up.
Carver:
(muttering) Mmm...five more minutes (suddenly jolts up, wide awake)
Dear sweet Maker! What in the name of Andraste's flaming knickers just
happened?
Fenris:(awestruck) I have no sodding clue I thought you were your sister!
Carver: I'm not a woman! Oh Maker what will the others say?
Fenris: Nothing. Nothing happened. Right? Just an awkward moment.
Carver: Just an awkward moment? Look at us man! We are in a compromising position here! I don't think I'll ever feel normal again.
Fenris: (head in hands) Maker give me strength.
Meanwhile across the street Hawke and Isabela watch the scene unfurl through spyglasses
Hawke: Best. Night out. Ever.
(Hawke and Isabela fistbump)
*lol* Ahh, that was great.

I made that silly joke first, dammit! [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/lol.png[/smilie] But Margaret did indeed fulfill it to a most awesome degree, and I can't fault either of you for taste.

But we entertain you, right? Keep you in tears and beers? (Well, I'm making the beer part up just because it sounded cute. But if I ever saw you I'd totally buy you one, in a friendly way. Possibly a Belgian one, since I'm living in Belgium. Or an orange juice if you don't like beer. Or water if you have acid reflux.)

I have to admit, I smiled when Ser Gaider (that's what you guys are calling him, right?) said that we're all crazy. Considering the amount of time I spent catching up, and how much time I spend obsessing over all things Dragon Age (Fenris being my latest and most favourite topic of interest), I get the feeling I'll feel right at home here.
On topic of Fenris... I wonder if his personality will change over the timespan. By that I mean, at first, he's going to be uncomfortable with everyone, keeps his distance, ect. And then, later in the game and in time, he's more relaxed, more inclined to be social/be part of the group.
What does everyone else think?

I would hope so. Fenris wouldn't be much of a character without some development. Either way, that does seem to be the most likely progression we'll see. Even if he doesn't change much in those particular aspects, it's almost a guarantee that he'll be more open toward the end of the game. It really all depends on just how closed off he is at the start.

No.
I have to admit this thread is one-of-a-kind. I woke up and began reading up till now and just laughed. We are all definitely crazy in some form.
Anyway, Fenris seems like someone whose trust is one of the best things you can get, but whose trust is hard to earn. I would squee with excitement if in the game their personalities evolved like that. I wonder if Varric is exaggerating their personalities.... Or will exaggerate certain traits. Like Fenris' brooding tendency.

I wonder how long we have to get into the game before we meet Fenris. Not too long, I hope.
