Fenris is lounging on a heart shaped, velour couch; boredly gazing upon the television screen. David Gaider is sitting at his computer, finally turning down the volume of the speakers to drone out the constant bleeps of yet another message recieved from a raving fangirl/boy.

Fenris: Can I go play with the fangirls NOW?

David: lol What a ridiculous question to ask, my dear lad! 'Tis not the release date yet! Now be silent and watch the hockey game! (continues the annoying clacking of keys onto the keyboard.)

Fenris defiantly turns off the television, grabs a butterscotch pudding cup from the ice box, and goes to eat is and brood in a nearby corner.

I do believe if he isn't a LI the world will collaspe and all that will remain are the echoes of the crying fangirls that haunt Gaider.

I think Fenris' hair is white because he *might* have died while the lyrium was being injected into his viens...
Rogue from xmen did that, ok, she over strained her power.. but I digress...
Since his mage was a master, he could of been like a lab right for his experiments, like "what would happen if you inject yourself fully with lyruim and survived?"
Would it make your muscles stronger? (like previously said in this thread) Would it make him a *forced* mage? or simple make him crazy?

Hmm... Maybe that's the reason he's need the meditative comments... to help drive out the crazy...

Well, we don't know yet, and that's whats the fun part of this thread! speculation!
Though there was one in Ozamar where a dwarf touched raw lyrium, and because of that, he can't think straight or speak clearly..

That's a sad thought.  Perhaps Fenris is slowly deteriorating from the constant Lyrium exposure.  It would add a tragic twist to his romance.

how about him being a crazy force mage with strong muscles that took too much lyrium and survived?

jokes aside, i think he's white because the Lyrium fused with him somehow drains his blood, turning it into raw power. that is why he's so strong.

by the way, I don't think that it was his mage that was a master, it was his master that was a mage. his mage is FemHawke (last time I checked) and she's not his master (I hope not at least).

I see, i do wonder how this magistrate got the lyrium into him was it injected? or  was some form of magic used? it must have been painful though i wonder if he will have flashbacks or maybe nightmares about the procedure?

That's what I was going to say...I really hope he doesn't ends up like that...It's bad enough that my Shepard is paired up with a dying man...I don't want the same for my Lady Hawke! D8

Heh? Are you saying that hawke was his master, or his former master was? Because I'm *pretty* sure that it was..
And for that hair.. well that's also a valid reason..

Heh... good point, he might still have nightmares about it, but Gaider said somewhere (I forgot where) That he doesn't dwell too much upon it. I don't know if it was a form of magic, as for the lyrium, there was a quest waayyy back in Dust town in DA:O where you deliver raw lyrium to godwin (the dude who jumped out of cabnet in the second story of the tower in the broken circle quest) as for 50-100 soveriegns. It could be bought on the black market, and if the master has enough to buy a slave, then he has enough to get black market raw lyirum. How he injected it... Don't rightly know.. guessing his master chained him and stuck it in him?

Hmm.. I'm too lazy to dig up the dialogue I did when I had that song stuck in my damn head... Except I had altered it and I told people to guess the song.

But I'll type it from memory.

Hawke: (Watches Fenris walk by) I want to talk to you.

Fenris: (Turns around and looks at Hawke) The last time we spoke, Ms. Hawke, I reduced you to tears. I promise you it won't happen again. (Begins to walk away)

Thank you dear, and I guess since the thread kinda too a quick trip down Depression Street, its scary because  in that blurb I was gonna have him starting to loose his memory at the end like he was gonna be planning on a way to escape, and things would start getting fuzzy till eventually all he'd remember was his desire to be free but you know I thought that was too sad so I didn't do it lol....

*sigh* I'm gonna go get some icecream...

I just wanted to say Fenris' voice actor will make or break his enjoyment for me initially. (And I think this thread has real potential to catching up with Varric )
