Not really any speculations other then whats already been said. and I pretty much wanna know what every other fan of Fen's does, is he an LI? But thats been asked to death soooo... nothing really new to say there either lol.

I really hope he doesnt die or its a known fact at the end of the game that his days are numbered. I went though that with Thane and don't want to again. Though if there was a quest that could stop him from dying I'd be ok with it.
I like him to, so far he's the only guy that I'm intrested in. Varric is cool, but I dont really care for Drawfs or chest hair for an LI. and Seb seem cool but since he's DLC idk if they'd make him a LI. I still prefer Fenis over Seb anyday tho.

On the subject of Fen-related questions, I'd like to know the nature of the tasks he was made to carry out, and if the magister who controlled him is un homme ou une femme. Another thing I'm curious about is his feelings towards other elves, and what he thinks of the Chantry.

If Fenris is tragic and Thane is tragic, that is too much tragic even for my angst-pire ways. I tend to feed on darkness, but dooming my favorite characters (not even necessarily LIs) just... gets to a point that it drives me nuts.

How many of you guys are planning to take the rivalry romance route with Fenris? If possible, I'd like my Hawkette and Fenris to start out as a rivalry romance, and then develop into an actual love fest for both sides.

I wanted to do this from the time rivalry romance was announced. It's too new and shiny a feature in a game not to try it. It's why I want a bit of information about Fenris' personality, so I can start constructing a rogue!hawke that would be the perfect rivalry with him.

I'm contemplating it, but it depends on what it takes to be a 'rival' to him. I can't really get into playing an 'evil' (for lack of a better term) character. I'm a bit of an idealist/bleeding heart irl and playing ****es never works well for me. I can do it in spurts, but that's about it. And usually only when I'm feeling snippy irl.

I'm going to be as evil as possible through my first playthrough so it kinda depends on how he feels about evil.

This. I can never stay consistent when being a jerk in these type of games. So if he'll except a plain traditional gooey romance I'll most likely go that route first then try the rivalry path next time

What did I do at the end of the OC?:

-Convinced everyone but Sand to side with me if they had a chance of going against me; Convinced Bishop to walk out.

-Killed Garius.

-KoS comes. Offers my character to join his side.

- PC turned her back to her party and went "Buh-bye, beyotches!" 

-Bishop comes back, teams up with PC.

Bishop: I've been wondering however long it would take you to finally want to kill them all.

PC: Good to have you on my side Bishop!

Bishop: As long as I get to kill the paladin.

- The only two I felt bad about killing: Ammon Jerro and Khelgar.

I was more attached to the MotB characters, heh. I don't want a party similar to the NWN2 OC one again. I'll just re-clarify again-- I wanted to poke the computer with a stick while I played that game.

Yeah, rivalry romance will probably be my second playthrough. I too am bad at being evil. Not that being evil has anything to do with rivalry, but if he's a character that is like Morrigan and complains when you do something good, then I'll have no choice but to go that path.

My Hawkette will not necessarily be evil...so much as extremely sarcastic and insanely flirtatious. I dunno, something about that makes me think that she might get on Fenris's nerves most of the time.



She'll def be best friends with Isabela though! And no...not THAT kind of friend

Actually, I might go this way as well...It's very difficult to me to be "evil" in this kind of games (well, except for Oblivion, but...That's a whole other thing.) ...I once planned to make my male!Mahariel a total human-hater little ******, but in the end I couldn't bring myself to even insult Cailan in Ostagar

That will probably be my rogue Hawkette. My mage Hawkette is going to be sweet and diplomatic and make mages look REALLY good... except her dirty little secret she practices blood magic, has major pyromania, and is distracted by shiny objects.
