I managed to dig a copy of NwN from my father's garage...only to find out that the manuel was missing so I COULDN'T TYPE IN THE COOOODE!.....plus I've yet to order HotU from Amazon.....

@Marg, , I was totally unaware that he was romancable! I took him all the way down to the Undermontain but Halaster left him behind!

Dialogue fix? Do you mean there's some patch to download? I just got the diamond edition off GOG and assumed it was the most updated. BTW, it's only $10, so just download it. I couldn't find it in stores anywhere, and had to just buy the only copy of NWN2 I could find at Microcenter.

When someone mentions "rivalry romance" All I can picture is Isabela/Fenris. She's really, really open. He's really closed off. Hilarity Ensues:

Isabela: You know you want to talk to me.

Fenris: (remains silent)

Isabela: You know your cute when your acting like the strong, silent type.

Fenris: You say that to everyone Isabela.

Isabela: (indignantly) I do not.

Fenris: Oh yes you do. What's that line you say?  "On your feet, or on my blade, a win's a win." Please you joyride around cities ending lives and breaking hearts. I'd be willing to bet that your incapable of any sort of action that doesn't induldge your hedonistic pursuits.

Isabela: Big talk from the man who bottles everything up inside in fears that some wizened old man will drop out of the sky and haul him off like some kind of boogeyman.

Fenris: Better to keep things to yourself, rather than taking it out upon others. You go along bringing men to their knees or to their graves. Tell me, is this because you didn't have the backbone to deal with him yourself? Because you regret having to have an Antivan Crow take care of the job for you?

Isabela: My husband's kind deserve what they get. They are fools and bastards all, that Crow gave me the chance at something I never would have had elf. He gave me freedom something that you don't seem to understand. You have no idea what it was like to live under the heel of a man who treated you like property.

Fenris: I was a slave. Not some kind of mercenary or henchman. I run from him not for what he will do to me, but for what he will do to the innocents who harbour me. This is why I choose to go without others in my life.

Isabela: I'm not exactly innocent Fenris, and I've been running for a long time. Part of me knows that I could face my demons but part of me, part of me -

Fenris: -enjoys the running? Enjoys going another day knowing that you've spat in the face of your tormentor and lived to talk about it?

Isabela: Yes. But that high, that feeling that I get from running, its cost me. Its taken my ship, my crew, and people who might have cared about me.

Fenris: You know you don't have to run alone. I could always use a cocky, hedonistic pirate queen to help keep my life from getting dull.

Isabela: Well fancy that, I am in the market for a new First Mate. Someone with a level head on his shoulders, who'll help keep me in line.

Fenris: (moving closer to Isabela) A professional relationship then?

Isabela: Of course, fraternization between crew members can lead to problems.

Fenris: Well then I'll have to decline the offer. (wraps arms around Isabela)

Isabela: (returns hug) A shame, we could work so well together. I guess we'll just have to settle for this then.

Fenris: Quite a pitty isn't it? Just when things were going so well.

(the pair break their embrace and continue on their way)

Ditto.  Has anyone on here played his romance in HotU?  I'm gonna have to go fire up that game again and try it...

I don't think you can romance Daelen. The only person who you aren;t force to leave behind when Halaster teleports you is Deekin

Um... Daelan Red Tiger isn't a romance in any game. That's fan wishful thinking. The only one who flirts with Daelan is Sharwyn in HotU. And Sharwyn and Tomi are not in SoU. There's a male halfling in the caravan that flirts with you once if you're a female halfling. There's a female dwarf, a male half-orc, and Deekin for companions in that game.

Also, in HotU you can convince ghost Aribeth to be evil or good and romance her either way.
