Edit: Haha! =]Found the question list:
1. How tall is Fenris Compared to Fem!Hawke?
2. Will Fenris ever wear shoes?
3. Who decides the VA for all the characters?
5. Does he have anger Issues?
7. What are his "meditation comments"? Not specifically his exact lines, but the general idea?
8. How soon in-game do we meet Fenris?
9. Are the "meditative" things he says in combat something he says to deal
with his anger? Is it self advice? Something that was beaten in him?
10. Give us a specific line he says in Tevinter.
11. What is his real name? And what is his last name if he has one?
12. Why does Fenris have feathers on his armor?
+Is he going to change his outfit throught the game? Mostly the belt, the lovely stylish belt.
Please Ser Gaider could you give us a bone to chew on for a few more days?

March 11th... So glad I have no lectures that day. I will buy food and water and all I need for three days and I will not leave my dorm room. My boyfriend is not going to see me at all that weekend.

Mmm...vanilla coffee
Reading through that list I'm finding myself suddenly curious about Fenris's name. My guess is he can't even remember his real name, and he chose Fenris for himself. I doubt he would allow anyone to continue calling him something that the magister used for him...So why Fenris? Cuz it allows me to make some awesome nicknames that bug other people in the thread???

I wonder.. since the companions will have multiple personal quests, will all Fenris' quests will be about the magister (no idea how complicated the situation is of course, so maybe that cow can be milked for a long time).
And like I said before, I just love that 'neener, you can't reacht' image. x"D

Okay here's my addition to this week's prompt. I know there are probably some grammar errors and other things but it's almost 6AM because I couldn't stop writing this so It is what it is.
This includes 2 prompts: Rain and Freedom
His eyes opened at the the sound of the
rain making large, flat notes on the durable canvas of his tent,
pulling him from his silent meditation into lucid consciousness.
Slow, intermittent drops hit at random before increasing in number
and frequency into a steady downpour of rain. He should have been
sleeping, or at least trying to get as close to true sleep as he
possibly could. Yet, such a thing was impossible for him; he could
not remember ever having a peaceful or comfortable night's sleep for
the constant threat that always weighed on his mind was too heavy to
ever achieve rest.
He sat up as the rain increased in
strength and continued to pour down incessantly. The sound it made
was naturally melodic and strangely comforting to his discontented
mind. It drowned out the swirling thoughts until there was nothing
but the rain and his breathing. For a few precious moments there was
only oblivion.
Without consciously meaning to he
rose from his bed and walked out into the open rain, acting on the
need he felt to be out from the suffocating enclosure of his tent and
into the open air. He looked up to the dark sky, blinking against the
wet, cold drops that hit his face and arms. His warm skin cooled at
their contact and the sensation brought him back to alert
consciousness. The rare humid weather they had been experiencing the
past few days had dissipated from the rain and the air had become
cool and crisp. A chill ran up his spine, causing him to notably
shiver as his wet hair began to curl, hanging in obscuring clumps
before his eyes and sticking to the back of his neck and face. He
closed his eyes, running his hands through his hair and causing it to
lay haphazardly as he lifted it away from his line of sight. When he
opened his eyes he froze, his eyes widening and his breath catching
in his throat at what he saw before him.
The Lady Hawke was in front of him,
facing away as she stood a few paces from her own tent situated off
to the right and front of his own, her arms outstretched and face
upturned to the down-pouring rain. Her eyes were closed, a contented
smile on her lips, as the rain ran down her face, her neck, her
shoulders and her outstretched arms. It dripped from her wet hair
that was plastered to her forehead and neck, making patterns against
her skin. She spun once, twice, and then her arms moved from her
sides to above her head, her hands moved down her face and neck
before she ran her hands through her damp hair just has he had done
to his own moments before. She was still for a moment before she
opened her eyes before turning to pick up the heavy cloak she had
shed for the lighter clothing she presently wore. She stopped
suddenly, a surprised look on her face, when her eyes met his.
He had always found her features
pleasant to look at; he supposed she probably was considered a beauty
by most, though he doubted she cared much for such things. Her
physical appearance did not go unnoticed by others, despite how she
felt about the topic. In the short time since they joined causes,
whenever he had overheard someone complimenting her they usually
commented on the luxuriousness of her hair or the shapeliness of her
figure. But the feature that he personally found to be the most
stunning, however, was the particular color and luminescent quality
of her eyes. It was those eyes he found presently staring into his
own with matched intensity.
Her mouth moved as she moved towards
him then, her features becoming more clear and defined as he could
now see the telltale concern lines on her brow, the slight pull of
her lips downwards in a frown of worry. He could see, through the
rain that threatened to obscure his view, the quick movements of
those arresting eyes as they flicked here, there and all around,
looking for some sign for need of her concern, before their gaze
returned to rest on his face, returned to peer into his still widened
eyes.
He received sudden clarity as an
overwhelming and violent flash of sensation went through him, rocking
him out of his daze and causing him to back away a few paces with
unbelievable speed. His body quickly formed an instinctual defensive
posture as his breath escaped quickly through his gritted teeth in a
low hiss. He lifted his eyes to see the shocked and concerned look on
Hawke's face and immediately realized what had happened.
She had seem him standing in the rain
wide eyed and still, she had called to him, though while deep in his
own thoughts he had not heard her, had not recognized that she was
speaking to him. She moved towards him, perhaps to see him better,
perhaps to see if all was well. Then, because she had grown concerned
and because it was a natural thing to her, she had touched his arm
and the sensation had violently ripped through his body and shocked
him. His reaction had shocked her in return and the look she now gave
him, one that was was mix of unease and hesitation, was unbearable to
him.
“Fenris?” Her voice was
unusually tentative but still strong, unwavering, with the familiar
timbre that he had grown to recognize, to appreciate. “Are
you....is everything...did I...”
“Yes, Yes, of course.” He spoke,
his voice steadier than he thought, as he recovered his posture so
that he was standing upright and not slightly crouched as if poised
to attack. “Everything is well, Lady.” He was silent for a
moment, trying to calm the edginess he felt within. Her expression
turned from one of apprehension to that of questioning, as if she did
not quite believe that everything was indeed well. It seemed as if
she needed more information to be convinced and so to be able to
avoid further discussion on what had transpired. “I had wanted to
see the rain.” He said matter of factly, as if that explained
everything. She studied him for a moment before her expression
lightened some, though the look of concern never completely left her
face.
“I had wanted to see the rain as
well...” She said softly, her gaze moving off of him as she looked
at the rain that still came down around them, though it seemed to
have lightened from its previous intensity.
“If that is all...” He started as
he moved to return to his tent but stopped at the sound of his name
once more.
“Fenris!” She said louder than
before, stopping him from leaving. A moment of silence passed between
the before he turned back to face her, his expression emotionless.
“Yes, Lady?” He said without
inflection in his voice though he was concerned, he did not know what
more she could want to say to him.
“Fenris...”she began, her
expression uneasy as she played with her hands in front of her as she
spoke. “I hope you understand...I mean, I hope you know that,
well....” she closed her eyes suddenly, taking a deep breath before
beginning again. “I am very grateful that you choose to join
m-us...that you chose to join us on our cause. I have agreed to help
with your cause in anyway that I can and I will keep that promise,
but I hope you know that I have no hold on you, that you are free to
come and go as you please if you so choose it.” His eyes widened as
she spoke, her words were incredulous to him.
“I...I do not understand. Do you not
wish to hold me to our accord as I plan to hold you to it? Or do you
mean to break the accord altogether...”
“No! No, no....”She said suddenly,
interrupting him. He noticed she was playing with her hands once
again. “I'm not saying it right. What I mean to say is, that I hope
you understand ...that you're free to choose whether or not you want
to stay with us, however long you with to stay with us...” She saw
the look of confusion was still on his face and began again. “I'm
saying that what we have is an accord among comrades, and, I hope, an
accord among friends.”
“...Friends?”
Friends. The word felt
strange to him. He understood what it meant, two people having a bond
based on mutual respect and trust for the other. He, however, had
never had someone he felt he could have such a bond with, at least,
not since he awoke having no memory of himself whatsoever.
“Yes,
friends. I want you to chose to stay here in honor our accord because
you chose to and not because you feel like you have to or must do so.
You have the freedom to chose how to you live your life as all of us
do, its your freedom to do so. I just wanted to be sure that you
understood.” His mind was reeling. Freedom? Yes, he understood that
now he escaped the Magister that his life was his own. When he joined
the Lady Hawke and her companions he chose to do so out of their
mutual accord. But did he ever feel as if he was being coherced to do
so? No, the Lady Hawke and the Magister were as different as day and
night. He stayed because he respected her, respected her cause. She
had helped him, put herself in danger, when she didn't have to, he
respected her...there was no one else he respected or trusted more.
“Friends.”He
spoke the word again, it still felt foreign to him, odd to hear it
rolling off of his tongue. “Yes. I stay here because I chose to. We
have an accord, we are friends, Lady.” He said seriously and when
he saw her face brighten with such happiness from just a few simple
words from him he felt a rush of a foreign emotion that cause his
chest to tighten as if his heart was trapped in a vice.
“Hawke.”
She said simply and when she saw the look of confusion that crossed
his face she explained further. “We are friends, Fenris, so please
call me Hawke as everyone else does.” He was silent for a moment,
as if he were struggling with something, before answering.
“Hawke,
then.” Her smile brightened further and he felt the invisible vice
that was gripping his heart squeeze down harder.
He
saw her hand move towards him, as if to touch his arm again, but she
stopped mid motion and pulled back, plastering her hand to her side,
an unreadable expression crossing her face. He began to say
something, he wasn't certain exactly what he would have said, but he
was silenced when she spoke first.
“Look
at us standing here in the rain. Forgive me for prattling on, we have
a long journey tomorrow.” She turned as started towards her tent
before stopping suddenly and turning her head back towards him.
“Sleep well, Fenris.” She said softly before she entered her tent
and disappeared from his sight.
He
stared at where she had stood for a few heartbeats. “Goodnight-”
He paused. There was a name on his lips, the name that he wished to
call her. It was not, Hawke, the name she had asked him to call her,
that name wasn't personal to her alone as she shared it with her
sibling that traveled with the group. No, the name he said was
delicate and lovely to his ears. He loved the way the word rolled off
his tongue, slightly changed by his unmistakeable accent, but
wonderful just the same. It was that name that he whispered before he
fell into one of the most restful night's sleep he could ever
remember.
Ugh, I know, it was long. And I'm not completely happy with it, but it is what it is.
Hope you like it <3
