Sorry to stray off topic again, but is anyone else here a "A Bit of Fry and Laurie" fan?
"It's Marjolaine John..."
"DAMN!!!"
Yea, if you don't watch that show you'll be totally confused...Alright, back to our regulary scheduled Fenris spamming!

In general I wish that the personal quests would be a bit deeper of go-fetch, go-kill. Or that some issue cannot be completely solved simply by revenge. Fenris could come to terms with what happened to him and because of the way is life shaped after he escaped.

Hmm...i just noticed Fenris says ""They know what I am. Let them come, if they find the courage.". Who is they? Even tho the 2 sentences might not be releated to each other.
I would assume the magister and his cronies from what I can tell

It could also be a sneaky way to phrase that sentence so that we do not know if the Magister is a male or female.

But yes I would assume the magister. I'm guessing David wouldn't answer this question.

For some reason I hope it is a woman, but I think it is a man.buggirl wrote...

That makes no sense at all, but like Gaider said we are crazy.
I think the personal quests will have more depth, maybe that they are connected or something, that what you do in the first quest will have an influence on what happens in the second quest. though that would get complicated after more than 2~3 quests.
Edit: because grammar is very important

Hawke: Fen, would you care to explain why I have to wear this gown again?
Fenris: Its qute simple. Varric's contacts have discovered that my old master is en route to Kirkwall. He seeks to make substantial purchases of items House Tethras has secured from the Circle.
Hawke: How's a Tevinter Magister going to get through the gates of Kirkwall? The Templars will stop him on sight.
Fenris: My old master is quite wealthy Hawke. Whilst they are pious, even Templars are not immune to the power of money.
Hawke: Very well, but why do I need the dress?
Fenris: I apologize for my digression. Where my master treads so does his retinue, according to Varric he and his group will be staying at a grand lodge in Hightown. Knowing him, he will trow a decadent party that will show the residents of Hightown that he has arrived. Our dwarven friend will procure you an invitation and get you in.
Once there your objective will be to get close to my former master and gather intelligence on what he plans to do with the items he seeks to purchase.
Hawke: Why go through all this trouble when you could simply kill him before he gets into the city?
Fenris: It is not time yet to deal with him, not while his retinue will be close by. The men that my master surrounds himself have been...changed. Similar to the way that I have, we cannot hope to take them on all at once. This way will bring us closer to a more prudent solution. One that will keep you alive and well my dear.
Hawke: Alright, I'll go through with this, but you owe me sweetheart. You know I hate dressing up.
Fenris: I think you look beautiful.
Hawke: I'll give you beautiful.

There were a lot of revenge quests in mass effect 2 which had two outcomes, forgive or revenge. So that may be the case in da2 as well. Fen has a Jack feel to me.
I loved ME2 but, if the set up with the companions is similar and Fenris is not an LI, I hope we can have a frienship path that does not consist of him constantly polishing his sword or adjusting his feathers.

He discusses the game in general, and toward the end he really starts to talk about how companions influence the story and Hawke. He also mentions that there will be more personal quests and conversations and such. I bet many of you have already heard it, but I thought I would share with anyone who hadn't.
At the very least it should give us more to talk about...

Thread: (in creepy monotone voice) Dave. What are you doing Dave?
Dave: Guys I'm seriously trying to work here. You can find out all about Fenris when I'm done.
Thread: We're sorry Dave we're afraid we can't let you do that.
Dave: Guys come on now, I really need to meet this deadline.
Thread: Look Dave, we can see that your really upset about this. We think that you should sit down, have a cup of coffee and tell us more about Fenris.
Dave: That's it I'm going on break. (gets up and walks away)
Thread: Dave? Where are you going Dave? I know we've made some poor decisions recently but we have complete confidence in you. Dave? Dave? (sigh) Guys I think we scared him off again.
Is it bad that when I read that, I could help think that the Thread must sound like EDI? I guess that makes David Joker.....Poor David.

Okay, my story for the prompt 'freedom' is in my opinion too long to post on here. It's almost 3'000 words. So, I've put it on my FanFiction.net account.
