A (small) list + A couple of samples:
--Emilie Autumn: Liar (WARNING- This song is highly repetetive), Is It My Body? (Cover)
--Within Temptation: The Heart of Everything, All I Need
--Vitamin String Quartet: So Cold (BB Tribute), Broken (Seether / Amy Lee Tribute)
--Evanescence: Bring Me To Life (
--L'Ame Immortelle: 5 Jahre (Note: Song is in German), Why Didn't I Die?
+ Multitudes of other things that I can hardly remember, or to avoid making this list huge.
Very little of it fits Fen in my opinion.

Honestly, I say no.
Would you believe in a God if you'd gone through such things that he did? I think he'd probably be either 'there is no God/Maker,' or 'If there is a God/Maker, he doesn't exactly care about 'his people,' now does he?'
Why would you assume that everyone loses their faith when they go through terrible things, exactly?
I am not assuming such. I am simply asking, would you lose your faith? I know I would. But that's only because I'm human.

Job disapproves -2726
Bah, I believe that 'Job' is one of the 'more fiction than fact' parts of the bible. But let's not get into my ideas about the bible and such, this is a Fenris Discussion thread, not a religion one.

But I do actually listen to Evanescence. Embarrassing, eh?

I wonder if he was born in the Imperium. He has lost his memories, but even if he hadn't, they have a very different view of the Chant and whatnot than what we were shown in Ferelden. So even if he was, it might end up a completely different flavor from what Leliana was always going on about.

How do you know for sure? I think one would only lose faith if they played the blaming game on it, personally. I am human, too, last I checked.
I just don't think that kind of thing can be so easily assumed.

This is probably the only song we have in common on our playlist. Mine are usually filled with 80's and present day pop.

I wasnt trying to bring up Christian theology either, and whether or not the events described in the Book of Job are factual has no relevance. Fenris is fictional.
I'm not religious and my citation of Job was literary, not spiritual.
Whether or not you, I, even David Gaider, etc - would lose their faith based on personal misfortune isn't important. Would Fenris? I don't know though DG does, even if the question doesn't even come up in DA2. It depends on the nature of the character's faith and what it meant to him in the first place.

You do realise that we will never let you live that down. Nor should you try. I know you are reading this. O_O

I adored their early stuff, and I don't really care for the new remixes/redos they did of some of their songs (E.G. I prefer old "Imaginary" far over the newer one actually... It feels like it has more emotion to it, at least to me. )

Right, folks. If you check a few pages back you will see tricky suggested earlier we can have a LJ account for prompt entries. I am not a LJ user but apparently it is easier for the late comers to check it instead of flipping through pages. What do you guys think? Shall Fenris expanding to LJ?
1. LJ confuses the hell out of me.
2. LJ and my laptop have a complete hate relationship.

Fenris: (muttering lyrics to a song quietly)
Merrill: I had no idea that you were the musical type Fenris.
Fenris: I'm not.
Bethany: I don't know Fenris, you seemed to like that bard's song last night. Our cousin is a lucky man to fall for a woman that talented.
Hawke: She fought with him during the Blight didn't she? Anyway Fen, admit it you like to sing. Your like a merry little minstrel man. On the inside at least.
Fenris: I am not a merry man.

So, since relationships with companions are no longer based on a hate/love scale, how exactly, and how soon, do you think romances will be triggered in game? Like for Fenris, do we have to wait an appropriate amount of time and get so far into the game before we can start pursuing him? I know there will be flirt lines, probably early on too, but I'm talking full on romance here.
*takes out pipe and puffs bubbles* Food for thought my friends...

Hmm... I do wonder...
Maybe five years in...?
*Starts humming 5 Jahre* Nah, 5 Jahre would only loosely fit Fen.
=Edit=
Extremely loosely.
