Calla, bb, I really doubt if they made him taller it was to appease fans, as the call to make the elves taller was probably an artist thing done well before he was more than in anything other than an embryonic state. And certainly long before he was revealed to us.

I wouldn't have not romanced him, either. If he's even a LI. Which... seems to be getting glossed over here. Just in reality, I would not be into a shorter man, so Fenris being taller or the same height as my FemHawke works better for me. If I were to attempt to romance him. Which depends on if they gave us the ability. I wouldn't really have minded either way, but this is definitely more my preference. As if my preference matters a damn. XD



But I still do wonder at all the various changes to the races and the motivations behind them overall. I'm sure I could find out if I could be bothered to go digging around interviews in magazines an' all, but I'm too tired and lazy tonight.

And on top of that, he did say 'think'. Probably best to wait until we see some shots of him near a FemHawke. If we ever do, seeing as how FemHawke (and FemShep) get so little screen time in the marketing.

They aren't being unreasonable however.  It's not mindless moaning without reason; the elves were all shorter than humans in DAO.  I'm just ambivalent.

Bah. I'm not attacking Gaider. I've been pretty much with the devs on every single change and have pretty much defended every damn thing. I'm grateful and happy they answer fan questions. I am voicing a complaint over ONE design change I dislike and I am insulting him somehow? Lolokay. I don't want an apology or for them to change it, I am saying YUKIDAMA DOES NOT LIKE THIS CHANGE.

Anyway, go back to fangirling or whatever. I'm out.

I don't know. I've never compared the two. I think elves are now the same height as humans, so he'd be a bit taller than FemHawke, but I could be wrong.

This is a good call imo. I never liked the idea of every elf being short. Made it hard to take their race seriously. Just didn't look right ya know?

We have dwarves for dwarf height.

But even had that been said, I wouldn't have had a meltdown. My disappointments are usually kept to myself. Better to focus on the positive. And at this stage of development, nothing we say will have any effect, if simply for lack of time.

I'm not saying it was mindless I just don't see how a couple of inches is something worth freaking out over in that big a way. Personally I did like that the elves were shorter in DAO, but I dont mind that their now as tall as the humans, like a said eariler its just a couple of inches.
