I was under the impression his master was using him as a weapon and somehow had him trained? Don't ask me where this came from, I could just me making it up for all I know. I'll look around to see if there's any answer to this.lonewolfxxx wrote...
Is there any info on how Fenris learned how to use a sword? Or even how he obtained it? (I apologize if this has already been answered)
Perhaps Fenris was a swordsman before the Magister worked his voodoo on him. I'm thinking along the lines of Duncan Idaho from Dune.

Hmm... That would make sense as to why his master is hunting him down. It could also mean that his master made some sort of "plans" against other mages and could possibly mean there are more "Fenrises" out there.
Most interesting...
And thank you for taking time to look it up for me! You are most kind.

Perhaps the Magister is hunting Fenris because he is the only subject who survived the lyrium branding.

edit: although now I'm wondering how exactly did Fenris escape from his chains? Is that suggesting that he does have magic powers?

I, for one, still want to know what drink Fenris is most like. You can actually get a lot of personality out of a drink, like the differance between, say, an appletini and a shot of vodka. ._.
GGRRAAAAHHHH! this is driving me nuts! now, where the hell is that quote!??!
Gaide answered this one already, vintage ale, though the exact quote illudes me..

Oh, I'm sure you've gotten basically everything there is to ask. Everyone's quite thorough with Fenris questions.
My questions are mostly about the relationship between Fenris, lyrium, and his master.

That is the drink he likes to drink (I think), Delicious is asking for, "If Fenris was a drink, what drink would he be?"MagneticDawn wrote...

I second this question for David. That or what drink he's most like? Better yet, what kind of drink does he like?
Avalia Pamunalis, specifically the 9:27 vintage.
It was a good year.

Gaider...
There was a hook for Fenris, but I can't tell you what it is yet. It's a spoiler. The tattoos came later (and, amusingly, before I even saw Jack), but there was an element to Fenris that made me want to write him. His #1 is also significant, which is important as I mandated that every DA2 character would need a #1...
*strokes chin* Me thinks Fenris plays a bigger role than I previously thought.
Tiny theory... could Fenris be hunted for an even bigger reason? He's a living a weapon created by a Magister. Is experimentation with lyrium on living beings or non-mages allowed? The Chantry oversees all business with lyrium, right? Perhaps his purpose was to be an instrument of war... by the Magister... against the Chantry... thus having something to do with the war between mages and the Chantry?? If that were the case, I'm betting the Magister really wants Fenris hunted due to keeping his/or her dirty secrets from the Chantry...
Am I making any sense? I'm kinda high on cold medicine...

No No, this would make sense.
Now that would mean that mages/magical beings are going to be extremely important later on and perhaps more of Fenris's kind.(If the magister is successful or if someone else tried this)
