All of this is making me incredibly curious about how Hawke and Fenris meet. I'd love it if Gaider could tell us if Fenris is like Isabela or not, in that it's possible to go the whole game without ever meeting him? Something tells me that he's meant to cross Hawke's path no matter what. (Might just be wishful thinking on my part)

I agree upon this. But he'll probably most likely be like Isabela, which means I have to keep my eyes open to make sure I get him.

Don't worry, darling.
Humph...I wouldn't said Fenris like Tiramisu for no reason. A standard Tiramisu usually have some kind of creamy beverages in it. Usually Bailey.
So Bailey it is.

So quick question fenaddicts what
exactly is it about Fenris that you find attractive? Like physically his
angst ridden past put to the side for a second. Is it the caramel toned
skin? the snowy white hair? the lyrium scars? Inquiring minds wanna
know...
Eyes. His green eyes you can lost yourself into.....

I think this angle of a weapon in the Chantry vs Magic-baddies fight is a good one. Then the magister doesn't want Fen falling in the wrong hands and revealing the weapons of the enemy. If he has magic resistance, it would be extremely helpful, but really it wouldn't be much different than a natural templar. I don't think that alone would make Fen important. At least I don't think that's very revolutionary. There's something we don't know here and won't until release probably. That's why I wonder if somehow Fen is a link in some kind of conspiracy. There have been hints of the dark side of the chantry along with the lack of real allegiance with the three races. I would suspect it has something big to do with the fade. What if they've breached the black city somehow using Fen? Then he could be a powerful weapon both for and against the Chantry depending on who's using him. I dunno, just brainstorming.

I think white hair and scars are just gorgeous. His skin tone is kinda like a "whatever" for me, he could be purple for all I care. I think his eyes are beauitful and I love the shape of his face.

Originally, I was interested by Fenris because if the fact I felt he got no attention (boy was I wrong!) The first I heard of him was on the DA wiki and I saw an announcment for a new character and a new video. I checked the main DA2 page and saw nothing, so I was slightly confused and decided to go back to the wiki and check. I then saw a interesting/attractive shiny elf. I read the description. I linked to his character page on BioWare, then checked the main page and saw nothing again. I jumped on the forums, feeling that the character was unloved, and going to say things...
And then I fell in the black hole of Fen-deliciousness.
=Edit=
Wait.

I must admit, it's a bit of concern. Not the "don't die on me" bit, just the idea that you guys may be building this character up into something he isn't or can't possibly be-- and then ending up disappointed not because he isn't great but because he isn't what you assumed. I realize you can't help it, and certainly appreciate the excitement, but if I were you I'd be careful how much you invest in your assumptions.

Exactly why I remain neutural at this point. From the alternatives of 'Dark Ritual', I trusted you already figured an alternative way out. So I won't fuss over this.

If the magister just wanted his property back, I don't think that's "a hook" into the plot. That would be like a parallel story, like Zev's independence with the Crows. In and of itself, it had no bearing on either who rules Ferelden or how the archdemon died. The problem here is, we don't know why Hawke is so important to Cassandra other than he's "the Champion." Or maybe we do and I missed it somehow?

I'm also trying not to let my imagination run TOO wild where Fenris is concerned, because I can see how expecting him to be one way and him turning out another way could be disappointing.
So far all I know is he looks awesome, his past is interesting, and he smirks. Ohhh the smirking. I eagerly wait Dragon Age 2 so I can find out more
