I must admit, it's a bit of concern. Not the "don't die on me" bit, just the idea that you guys may be building this character up into something he isn't or can't possibly be-- and then ending up disappointed not because he isn't great but because he isn't what you assumed. I realize you can't help it, and certainly appreciate the excitement, but if I were you I'd be careful how much you invest in your assumptions.

I don't think anyone is actually taking any of their own assumptions, fanart or fanfics seriously. 

I don't think you have to worry about anything.

I vote for a Jägerbomb and not just because I want to try one. Fenris is rumored to be stoic and yet we've seen he also has a bit of a temper. *hip wiggle*

I know your not supposed to reload, but I did when he told my City Elf we couldn't be together anymore. Luckily, I had a save right before it anyway. I wanted Anora to be queen anyway, but then this whole thing with Loghain started and I was so confused. I'm a bad RPGer, I cheated.

I remember once a couple hundred pages ago I asked if Fenris was "more stoic" than Valen in the modern sense, or the philosophical sense. I thought it was a good question, a meaningful query that might have given real insight into his character.

But hey, at least we know about Fenris' preferred underwear.

*pity hug*  Another tragic elf abandonment?  I feel you.  I was literally like    for days.  Then I just went numb and refused to finish my playthrough.  Took me forever to play another elf lady (avatar) but I never finished with her either.  *sigh*

Well Alistair said he didn't want to do it, and Anora didn't seem all that bad. I wouldn't want to be queen anyway, too much politics, not enough darkspawn killing.

I concur, 9 times outta 10 the place is nice for the speculations and the company though I don't  like to get too involved personally when it comes to serious buisness speculation time for fear of things coming to fruition, or like Gaider said having made assumptions and then nothing of the sort playing out when the game comes out
