(Varric loads a fresh clip of bolts into Bianca and is picked up by Fenris. The elf then proceeds to throw the dwarf like a javelin, whilst in flight Varric lets loose a hail of crossbow bolts that shreds the advancing rank of raiders, sending them toppling down the stairs of Lowtown. As he falls out of the air Varric curls himself into a ball and rolls upon impact with the ground.)
Varric: That was surprisingly effective. Good call elf.
Fenris: See Varric, I'm full of good ideas, you should listen to me more often.
Varric: Don't push it buddy.

I'd say jealous. Mostly because I think he'd see Hawke as 'his' (I think his name implies he'll have a very wolfish, feral personality, so territorial!) and because all he could remember before Hawke was pain, misery and suffering. Hawke was his 'freedom.' And I'm sure he'd fight to the death just to keep his freedom.
Wow, now that didn't sound cheestastic, now did it. [/sarcasm]

His parting smile was almost wolf-like, and Anders could’ve sworn his eyeteeth had lengthened.
Anders "Alright then, no more flirting with Hawke, fine, just fine."

"Hello there, pretty!" Hawke raised an eyebrow and paused, turning to the drunks who were leering at her.
"Why dontcha ditch elf-boy there and come have a pint?" the men cackled. Hawke heard Fenris release a low, wolf-like growl and place his hand possessively on her waist pressing her against his side.
"Ha, look't her elfling, acting like a dog he is!" one of the drunks called. Hawke glanced up at Fenris' face; his long ears were laid back, and he was looking agitated. She sighed.
"Listen here you pathetic drooling lechers," she snapped at them. "What do you think attracts a woman, being kind to her or insulting the man she loves?" the drunks began to grumble.
"C'mon, gents," one told the others. "Why would we even touch the lass. She's lowered herself to sharin' beds with filthy knife-ears. Just a who-" Hawke felt Fenris begin the push past her, so she tightly gripped his upper arm and began to drag the snarling, spitting warrior back towards their room at the local inn.
"Just one! Let me rip off the head of just one!" Fenris demanded as she led him towards the small inn, where their other companions were.
"No, Fen." Hawke sighed.
"They were insulting you!"
"They were drunk." she dismissed. "I don't care what some idiot like that says. Questioning my purity isn't insulting to me. Now, if they brought my pickpocketing skills into question," Hawke pregended to grimace. "Then I'd sic my 'elfling' on 'em." she grinned at her lover, who simply rolled his eyes.
"Does nothing bother you?" Fenris asked with a sigh.
"Only Darkspawn and your cooking."
"...should I be offended?"
"No. Not even you like your cooking, Fen."
"Fair point."

More akin to you guys' tastes, as well, I believe, as it's to do with him and Lady Hawke. I'm actually rather proud of it thus far.
