Hehehe... at least they're after cookies and not cake.

They can't go after cake, the cake is a lie remember. ;p

Fears... like others said I think he will have some trust-issues, thought that's not really fear of course. I hope it is not a fear of heights (don't want to drag him up that mountain where the Dalish are). xD

Hawke: Ah, there's nothing as enjoyable as a trek up a mountain eh, Fenris?

Fenris: (muttering under his breath) Don't look down, don't look down....

Varric: Sundermount might not be the prettiest mountain in the Free Marches, but it is the tallest, we'l be almost a league above sealevel when we get to the top. You alright there elf?

Fenris:
Fine. (muttering) Oh dear Maker what have I gotten myself into?

True, the cake is a lie, but I was thinking more about the woman down the road who fills her time making poisons... and cake.

I agree with you on trust-issues. It's more like a consequence of fear. He's been branded with lyrium, I doubt he'll want anyone to have any hold on him, physically or emotionally, out fear that something like that happens again.

Oh, just thought of a possible prompt for next week (Are suggestions being taken?): Fear.

Can you imagine Fenny and Sten making cookies themselves?  Flour, dough dirty dishes everywhere!

Fen: How much flour do we need?

Sten:  I can't read these (insert Qunari swear here) directions, just dump it in

Fen:  We can't do that, we must follow directs

Sten: give me that flour bag

Fen:  No, let ME do it!

(Flour bag flies in the air, lands on Sten, Flour flies everywhere)

(Door opens, Hawke walks in with his/her mouth open)

Hawke:  What the...?!?!

Fen and Sten: (in unison) HE did it!

Fen: You've dragged me up to this bridge in the Hightown for what reason?

Hawke: (Signals to Varric behind Fen's back) To survey the bridge and make sure it's a defensible strategic point

(Varric sneaks behind Fen and attaches something to his belt)

Hawke:  So Fen, what do you think?

(Fen takes a step to the edge of the bridge and peers down)

Fen: (slight shudder as he looks down)  Well, if we use Varric over here, he and Bianca should be able to pin down anyone on this side of the cliff, leaving us able to....

Hawke:  NOW Varric!

(Varric waddles behind Fenris and gives him a good shove off the bridge)

Fen: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

(Seconds before Fenris hits the waves, the magical rope gets taut and Fenris bounce back up)

Fen: (as he flies back up) MAKER, Im not (Fen starts falling down again) Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! (Flying up) Dead, Dead, dead, Im going to...(Falling down) ahhhhhhhhhhhh!

(After about five minutes of this, Hawke and Varric pull Fen up)

Fen: What the (insert Tevinter swear here) did you do?

Hawke:  Well, we got this magic rope from Bun Gee, a merchant down in the quarter.  Isabela suggested something called "Aversion therapy" for your height issues, and we figured this would be the best way to do it.

Fen: In that case let's see how far I can toss a dwarf!

Hey guys, slightly off-topic question for PC users! :3 I'd ask this in the technical support thread, but to be honest, some of the people there scare me, so I'd rather avoid it, if at all possible. xD

Anyway, I'm mainly a console gamer, but used copies of DA:O are pretty cheap right now (around $16 in Canada), and I have to admit, I've been eyeing the toolset and various mods quite adoringly for a long while now.  I'd like to pick up a copy, and I have all the system requirements... except one.  I've got the GeForce 7300 LE graphics card that came with my computer >> and the minimum requirements call for a GeForce 6600 GT.

My question: does anyone else have the same graphics card as me, and does the game run fine for you?  Thanks. :3

On-topic:  I will bribe you guys with pictures of pouting child!Fenris if you can help me out! xD  And probably even if you can't, because the idea is stuck in my head. xD

I know i know this is not the best site ever and it might lie sometimes but try it nonetheless.

http://www.systemreq...tslab.com/cyri/

But with that card i am sure you can run it just fine. I have a Nvidia Geforce 9600 GT and i played Origins on High. Never had issues, lags etc.

Edit: wooo! they've put DA2 on the list! *checks*

She wasn't sure if she should post it here as most of us already seen her full Fenris sketches in here. But well, guess no harm to see them all again, right?:wub::wub::wub:

those sites are useless. I've maxed out games that they said I can't even run (they don't detet the hardware correctly most of the times and also have a lot of problems with laptops). about GeForce 7300 LE, it can run Origins on low, nothing better although knowing the CPU will help clerify that (I did test Origins on a PC with 7300 LE, Core 2 Due 2.3GHz and 2 Gb
RAM on Win XP, and anything higher than low setting messed with the
frame rate). plus that PC can't possibly run DA2 on anything higher than low either.

the thing about Nvidia cards is that the *100 to *400 (like 7100 to 7400 or 6100 to 6400) are low end, *500 to *700 are in the middle and *800 and *900 are high end cards. so 6600 GT is better at raw graphc processing than 7300 (although 7300 has better options simply because it's one generation ahead).

too much off topic, now back to Fenris and his fear of high places: I think that'd be a little out of character. I think fear of closed and/or dark places is a more natural reaction to being imprisoned as a slave before (and probably) after the Lyrium infusion thing. just imagine the potential, specially since there is a deep roads section in the game.
