The level of consistency with DAO and DA2 is as bad as Prince Caspian and Dawn Treader. LOL. I mean, for christ sakes they changed Barne's accent o_o

Well elves were always tall...in any game i know and in movies as well. And i don't really mind the lack of consistency, they improved a lot of things (qunari for example, b4 they were too human).

I want to add something to the Zevran commentary i wrote. Even though he was a GREAT char, you didn't have much reasons to take him with you...in real life you won't befriend someone that wants to kill you, right? My first playthrough went without him, then i took him but he turned against me at *that* point...from the 3rd playthrough i started talking to him and including him in my party (and loved him to death).

just my opinion, I mean Fenris killed ODIN, thats the equevalent of killing Zues, yeah he looks badass, but worthy of the name, no

I'm with you on the 'I fangirl lot of things' train. Altough for the past year, my fangirling business has shifted nervously towards monogamy with Thane. With that in mind, I definitely should do fanart for someone else for a change. Perhaps we have a subject here, hmm? Any suggestions as to how I should approach Fenris with my tablet pen? Gently, roughly, smuttily, romantically, with LadyHawke?

@ankuu, now they announced Fenris' name, from Varric's experience. There won't be any more info release until 2011.

Draw him doing something! Fighting or cleaning weapons or packing a bag or drinking at the tavern -- an active or interesting pose.
Um, if that request was open to everyone, that is... Otherwise I'll just go back to my lurker corner.

I hope no Varric lovers are here otherwise i might get killed...but i don't think Varric was originally an LI (if he is one now). Dwarfs are not really liked by a lot of people...and the difference in size would be kinda weird (fem Hawke-Varric couple). Also he is the narator and he's giving away info about you to Cassandra (which might have hidden ideas). Would your life partner start giving info about you to anyone?

Since Hawke is a human i am sure there will be a human male as an LI too...so either Fenris or Varric is not an LI.

PS: Also David Gaider writes important characters most of the time, so Fenris should be quite important too.
Zevran, Alistair, Cailan, Morrigan, Shale - he wrote these chars for Origins, out of which 3 are LIs

@ankuu, he also write Valen, Carth, and HK. The last one is his favourite so far, but not an LI.

Same here, Zev was really cute and all but not really for me. I've tried the Zev romance but could never really get into it. That being said, Kivan will have to watch out. Fenris might just slip past him and conquer the position of 'my favorite elf'.

I beg to differ.

In any case, I will enjoy Fenris whether he is a love interest or not. Would be refreshing to have a character obviously designed to be attractive and not be available for romance. But mods would rectify that, I am sure.

And the storyline possibilites for if he truly is looking for love seem absolutely delicious.

Not necessarily.  Maybe he's a "dont hate the player, hate the game" type.  Or he's mature enough to get that one mage isn't all mages.  Any number of things.  

The same thing that makes it easy to imagine at this point that Fenris is whatever anyone wants him to be is the same thing that lets people make simplistic comparisons to characters we know:  We still don't know much about him at all.

What Shorts' said. Or it might create tension in the group or it might be harder to earn his trust.
